I love my new fence and gates! Chris' team just installed a fence and four gates last week and I could not be happier with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the team. I requested a fence replacement quote from Smith and two other companies in 2022. Some unexpected renovation issues caused the fence replacement to be stalled for a year. I spoke to all three companies, and only one, Smith, stuck it out with me. To me, that showed what they were made of. When the day came to start, they were there first thing in the morning, tore down a large fence and had the new one done by the end of the day the very next day. The fence was built well and turned out beautiful. More importantly, the owner and his employees were kind, courteous, personable, and focused on customer care and the customer's overall happiness. I was so impressed with them that when it came time for my son to replace his fence in 2025, I called Smith. My son received the same care and quality that I did, and loves the new dog ear cedar fence that Smith completed in two days. You will not be sorry that you hired Smith, and I will not hesitate to tell my family and friends about them. read more

We highly recommend Smith Fence to do your job. You will not be disappointed. read more

Chris Smith did not follow-up and send me his estimate as he said he would. I sent him my email address as he asked for. He has my contact. If he is not interested to give me a quote perhaps he would said NO at the beginning so you wouldn't wasted my time and perhaps his. read more

This is the second fence that Smith has done for me in about 5 years. I got competitive bids on both fences from other companies, and Smith Fence offered the best deal and a superior product, winning both contracts. I would recommend you get a bid from them. This is the 3rd time we have used Smith Fence Company over the last several years. The first two times they put in a wooden fence, this time it was steel. Each time the work was exceptional. Chris Smith is a real joy to work with. He knows the business and he is very professional. Josh and Nick came out today to demolish the old and very tired looking wooden fence that had been here for more than 20 years I imagine. One of the first things we knew we had to do when we moved in here was to replace that fence. Reached out to only one contractor. The pricing was very good as it was the other two times. Josh and Nick really know what they are doing. The scheduled start time was 10:00am, they were here at 9:30am ready to rock and roll. They are very professional, skilled and super nice and friendly guys. I must say they finished the job, had the yard cleaned up and looking great and out of here earlier than the planned period of time. Would we use them again, in a heart beat! Thank you Chris, Josh and Nick for a job most well. done! read more

They built a beautiful fence with fantastic workmanship! These guys know what they're doing! Another plus: they finished on time!!! read more

Had Smith Fence install about ~130 feet of 6' board on board style with 1' of lattice on top. Chris was able to come out and take a look within two days, and gave me a quote within the week. I HIGHLY recommend this company! These guys were great, from Chris with the estimate and answering all my questions, to the guys that came out and replaced our old fence! I used Smith Fence Company for repair of a part of my fence that had fallen down during a storm. Chris Smith gave me a reasonable estimate, started the work less than a week after I accepted his proposal, and had the job completed in about 3 hours. The finished work looks well-made and very secure. Although the job involved some unexpected additional work, I was only charged the amount of the original estimate. I would definitely recommend Smith Fence Company for any fence installation or repair. read more

Unreliable and cannot recommend due to lack of communication and no-show for fence repair. Going to keep this factual. Smith Fence replaced a damaged fence for my 93 year old grandmother after a wind storm took it down a few years ago. The fence has begun to warp and become disconnected in multiple places. Spoke on the phone with Chris (at Smith Fence) in Oct 2024 and he said he would absolutely take care of it, but in a few weeks when their schedule opened up. No problem with me, except I did not hear back until I reached out again in January 2025. Chris said he could take care of it the next week and would get back to me with a specific day. I did not hear from him and had to follow up twice over the next few weeks until he responded. He then picked a day and time during the upcoming week. He did not show up at our appointment time or communicate that he was running late. I called and left a voicemail as well as texted. He responded via text 30 minutes after our appointment time claiming everyone had called out sick that day, including himself. To his credit, he did offer to reschedule for later in the week, but my confidence in his ability to keep his word had already been eroded. I am disappointed that I felt compelled to write a review like this considering 1) Chris seemed very nice on the phone and was so proud of the fact that Smith Fence is family-owned and 2) I wanted to discuss replacement of additional fence on the property. read more

We had our first quote from the big guys but they weren't willing to work with us on a special request but Smith Fence was. They gave us a great quote and stuck to it months later when we could finally get it installed, after other equipment in. It is a beautiful, strong, vinyl fence and we couldn't be happier. The installers Joshua and Tony were great, on time, pleasant and done when they said they would be. I highly recommend Smith Fence Company. read more

Jesse and Chris did a great job replacing our old rotting fence with a new beautiful one. Nice and clean and quickly done. Thanks, Dan.

Chris Smith replaced the fence on the left side of my house about 3 months ago and now just replaced the fence on the right side of my house. Like the left side fence, I am very happy with the quality of his work. Chris is the owner of his Smith Fencing Company and he personally works on the job with a helper. They are super quick, use quality material (I got steel posts instead of wood posts), install new fence with a high degree of precision and they do not damage any surrounding plants. Also, Chris is highly competitive with his pricing! I do have one complaint - I can't get Chris to stop calling me "Sir". read more

Very easy to work with. Fence blew down in the last windstorm. Chris was easy to work with, estimate was fair, work was done promptly with a large crew in one day, and the new fence - with metal supports so this never happens again, is beautiful. We needed our fence to be replaced after a portion of our fence fell down due to strong winds. After getting quotes from four other contractors, we decided to go with this company for our fence. So happy with our decision. Chris, the owner came out to do our estimate. We chose this company not because it was the cheapest, although the pricing was fair and a great value for the quality of work and materials. We chose this company because Chris seemed the most knowledgeable and experienced in his work. He took a little while to give us an estimate but we appreciated his honest and quick communication with us. He did a great job explaining the types of fencing that he built and offered good suggestions for our needs. He also sent many photos of the fences that he built. At Chris' suggestion, we decided on the cap and trim, board on board style. He came out with his helper and completed our job in two days. They did a great job. We and our neighbor love our new fence and highly recommend this company for any fencing needs. Quality work, quality material (our fence was Japanese cedar wood), good communication, reliable quote, and great work ethic. read more

DO NOT HESITATE...call Chris @ Smith Fencing. My son needed a fence (like yesterday)--truly...we only had 2 days to do it. By some miracle above, I looked at the name on our own fence [recently inherited/purchased my parents' home] and called. Chris (the owner) called back on a Sunday night. No other company is even open/responding on the weekend. I was in shock. He sent over a bid THAT night and it was a great price. We booked for the next day. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about our experience. His crew (Jesse & Zach) were beyond amazing, solving issues and hiccups that came up in the drop of a hat. Jesse is a wooden wizard! Honestly...just incredible souls that at every turn were communicating with me and were so intent on making sure it was what we wanted and what we envisioned. Chris followed up as soon as they were done to make sure we were happy. This is an AMAZING, family owned business and they have my support for life.
