It was a great experience from start to finish with my initial contact to request a review of my foundation, sharing photos and the in person inspection of my property by Abbas. After he had thoroughly reviewed my property, he gave me a very honest feedback of what he found on my property and what was necessary. I love how honest and non pushy. Great to work with a company with integrity and not take advantage of a situation that could have been favorable to their business. I would recommend Alpha structural to anyone needing foundation review and service. read more

I had a great experience with Alpha on the waterproofing job at my house. Steve provided the estimate, and Alfie did an amazing job supervising the project. I called Alpha Structural back and spoke to Franchesca about the initial call. I think the original person who answered the phone needed additional training because I was able to pay a fixed rate for a thorough inspection of my property, and the recommendations were extremely helpful! I have a priority list of items to address and am very glad I obtained the inspection and letter. read more

Aaron, as before in 2019, was very helpful and quickly determined the problem. The cracks in my interior walls and some on the exterior were being caused by a corner of the building that is slowly losing support. With his help I will be able to get our HOA to address the issue before it becomes a real problem. The info he provided for me will be invaluable in getting the ball rolling! Thank you again!! read more

Chris from Alpha Structural explained every issue with our foundation so well, plus remained positive about what needed to absolutely get fixed. Showed us many pictures he took under the crawl space to show us where repairs were needed. Very helpful! Bonus, he's humorous when giving you the good and bad news! read more

Such a great experience. Chris came to our house, checked out my drainage issue, and advised me on a range of solutions from simple DIY fixes to a full-on transformation. He didn't try to upsell me on the big-ticket item and instead gave me a bunch of ideas for addressing the issue I was hoping to fix. Honest and genuinely helpful and a pleasure to deal with! I opted for the DIY fix for now, but when I'm ready to pull the trigger on the big renovation, Alpha Structural will be my first and only call :) read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alpha structural. From the very beginning when Steve came out to evaluate my property, through every step of the process, my experience has been exceptional. Foundation work is a major undertaking and having a company you can trust makes all the difference. Steve was great from the start, and Marissa and Rosie in the office have been absolutely amazing. They are responsive, professional, and generally wonderful to work with. Alfie, my head foreman has also been fantastic. He overseas the job and keeps everything moving. I've been so impressed with this team and the way the work is handled. Gustav, who leads the crew working at my property have been terrific! They work SO HARD !!! are professional, and take pride in what they do. What has impresses me the most is the quality of the people at every level of this company. Everyone has been hard-working and committed to do the job right. You can tell when a company knows what it's doing in Alpha structural clearly does. It is truly a first class company and the entire team deserves recognition for the outstanding work they do!!! read more

Great, honest people with integrity! No upselling. Informative, experienced - the best.

We scheduled an estimate for a Saturday and they called to let us know something opened up earlier in the week. Steve came to our home for an initial inspection and was very thorough and honest about our situation. We look forward to receiving his detailed estimate and getting to work on our foundation issues. Highly recommended for their initial professional response and detailed inspection and recommendations. Hopefully I can add more once we get the job done! read more

Chris was very professional and really knew how to explain the details of the type of work that needed to be done. He also was honest about the work since the work I thought I needed to get done wasn't needed after his assessment. His assessment took about an hour and he explained things thoroughly to me. Even though I don't need to utilize Alpha Structure for the replacement of the stucco, I would definitely recommend Alpha Structure to anyone. Thanks. read more

Chris came to advise and measure for a drainage system and was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful about the project. His expertise and experience is valuable to us. In addition, we have to commend him for previous work. He is completed on our property on foundation work, including a retrofit. We will always have Chris come to the rescue. Way to go Chris. read more

Thank you to Alan for reaching out to me and making things right. He along with his team came out to address my concerns and scheduled to right some of the mistakes made by the previous crew. Nadir, Julio and his crew came and were effective and efficient. They stood behind their word and I feel better now knowing that they did what they promised! I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again once I'm ready to have my home retrofitted for earthquakes. read more

If you're looking for a company that's honest, professional, and truly cares about your home, go with Alpha Structural. We had foundation issues and started this journey back in November 2024. They sent an engineer, Alfie, out the next day, and he was super thorough and clear about what was going on and what our options were. He explained why helical piers were better for our situation (we have clay soil), and although it was more expensive than concrete pads, it made the most sense long-term. We took almost a year to decide and save up, and even then, Alfie honored the original quote; no hassle, no pressure. That really stuck with us. Once we moved forward, Alpha made everything easy. Their scope of work was laid out clearly, they kept us in the loop at every stage, and the office team (shoutout to Beverly and Kate) was always responsive. The permits and inspections were billed separately, which they explained upfront, and there were no surprises. Everything was transparent. Now let me take a moment to really highlight Francisco and his crew, Juan and Jared. These guys were INCREDIBLE! Seriously, I can't say enough good things. They were on time every single day, super respectful, and just really hardworking. The kind of crew you feel lucky to have working on your home. Francisco, the foreman, ran the project like a total pro. He made sure everything was done right and with care. He didn't just oversee the job, he was in it, hands-on, constantly checking his team's work and making sure everything was on track. You could tell he takes pride in what he does. And not just that, he was considerate. One day when we weren't home, he made sure to close our gate. They didn't leave trash, didn't move anything without asking, and even stacked the pavers they had to remove neatly off to the side. Little things like that go a long way. Juan and Jared were just as great! Super polite, focused, and respectful. They asked before touching anything, cleaned up after themselves, and left the space looking better than before. You'd never guess major work had just been done, that's how clean and careful they were. And in the middle of this California summer heat, too. Total champs. We were told the job might take 5 days, but it was wrapped up in 3, and done well. Brian, the supervisor, was also awesome. He kept us updated, answered all our questions, and even coordinated with our neighbors to get a dumpster placed out front. Everyone we dealt with (from office to field) was kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Bottom line: Alpha Structural is the real deal. If you're on the fence, take this as your sign. Their crew treated our home with respect, did the job right, and made the whole process feel way less stressful than we expected. Huge thanks to Francisco, Juan, Jared, Brian, Alfie, Beverly, and Kate. We're beyond grateful and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again in the future. Now we have a solid foundation that we can work it and not have to worry about the structural integrity of our home moving forward. Thanks guys, now my doors/windows won't stick read more

Highly recommend getting a consultation with Alpha Structural for your retrofit/foundation needs! I recently bought a new house and unfortunately didn't receive any CEA verification forms from the previous owners for insurance purposes, so was on the lookout for someone who could help with that, as well as give us additional peace of mind that our foundation was safe. Alfie was very prompt and thorough in the consultation onsite at our house, including pointing out any recommendations on items such as older wooden beams that aren't urgent to fix in our garage, but good to revisit down the road. He crawled through our basement/sub space to check our beams too. Very quick turnaround with the CEA verification form too. We'll definitely consider going back to Alpha Structural for our future upgrades to our garage too! read more

We had a situation on a real estate purchase that left us uneasy. It required an assessment be done in order for us to proceed. David Park and Alpha Structural went out of their way to help us. They did the assessment and provided a report on a very tight timeline. They went above and beyond what they normally offer for this type of service. Highly recommended from our end. read more

Aldo was awesome. Even though I didn't end up doing construction with Alpha (nothing to do with them), Aldo still treated me like a customer. I went with Alpha Structural for my seismic retrofit and was not disappointed. They were openly communicative with me throughout the whole journey as I had a lot of questions along the way. The whole team was hands-on deck in going over any concerns I had while providing updates through every step of the process. On the day of the installations, supervisor Eny and his team of Ronaldo, Daniel, and Casimiro did a great quality job in less time than I thought it would take. I'd highly recommend this company for any foundational projects you may have! At least get into open communications with them and you'll learn a thing or two. read more

We had a great experience with Alpha Structural! After getting 3 quotes for work to replace the western wall of our foundation along with 15 posts and piers on our 1920's home, we felt Apha was the most reasonably priced and seemed well regarded. We were not disappointed. Juvi and his crew Edgar and Jose did great work clearing a ton of leftover debris under the house, replaced the posts and piers and western wall, and extended a girder that previously did not reach the length of the house. We could tell the team knew their stuff. They left the area clean and clear, and were mindful to put a gate back up everyday that they had to take down to work. They even put in a new crawl space access door so future work could be done more easily. Working with Sunn and Aaron was also easy. They kept us informed of the progress and answered our detailed questions along the way. In the end, we needed stucco replaced along the western wall where they did the work, and they called in a handy man they knew to complete the restucco so the final project could be approved by the city. We were happy to have one less person to call! This is the biggest job we will (hopefully) ever have to do on this house, so we're glad we hired Alpha Structural to ensure everything was done right. Thank you! read more

Recently had Alpha complete a foundation inspection on my 1912 craftsman bungalow. Brad Nestler provided a comprehensive review of my house inside and out as well as detailed review of raised foundation by crawling under the house. He took pictures and afterwards reviewed his findings with me explaining issue, cause and solution. (Folks, this is such an important step. Explain what's happening to my house, why and how do we fix it.) Exceptional! His extensive knowledge and experience provided insight and solutions. If you own an old house you know that sometimes the problem isn't what you think it is. Thats why it's so important to engage with experienced people like Brad/Alpha to do the necessary investigative work. The next day Brad sent a detailed Observation Letter that documented his findings and outlining solution. I was then equipped to take next steps. Five Stars! read more

Just spoke to Steve who came out for an assessment and this was the first time during my current project where I felt like I will actually be taken care of. He was very good at hearing out my specific situation (this is quite a piece meal project) and talking me through the options available. I've paid architects for plans on a drainage project and they took no consideration of what I was truly trying to accomplish and what information I personally had available. Steve took a completely different approach and confirmed with me what he saw to work on what was highest priority. Much appreciated Steve! read more

This is a review for both the Alpha Structural office and for engineer Erinn Rusnack. The first time we booked them was for a Buyer's Inspection to determine foundation issues, they issued a thorough and accurate report that allowed us to ask for a reasonable credit from the seller. We needed them a second time for a structural beam issue. I spoke with Francesca in the office at the end of a Friday and she answered so quickly, was very helpful and kind, and booked me in for a Saturday morning appointment. When I reached out after the appointment, she remembered who I was and was helpful. Engineer Erinn Rusnack came by exactly when he said he would, 8:00 AM the next day, on a Saturday, no less. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made thorough notations on his report. He emailed us with the report within two business days and followed up with us, doing everything he could to drop the completion time of the project down because he knows we are experiencing an unexpected and major safety issue. We appreciate his professionalism and urgency in supporting us. read more

Erinn was on-time, professional and wasted no time studying my particular structural issue. Alpha Structural has really great customer service. I had witnessed a very minor incident where one of their employees was driving and had moved into my lane with no warning. I took to yelp to let them know that their brand was being represented by this driver and how it left a bad taste in my mouth. They responded immediately to get more details and promised to address the issue. If their customer service is this attentive and professional, I can only imagine their engineering staff would have to be the same. read more

AlphaStructural got in touch promptly and got to the bottom of our strange permit issue. Once they tracked down the problem, they started the cancellation process and we know it's pending processing from the city now. Anyone can have a paperwork mistake. They're a good value for the type of expertise they offer. read more

I've had decades of outdoor drainage issue due to living on a hillside and on days of prolonged heavy rain, several areas around the house tend to either flood or build up enough water to seep into house. I had already contacted two other drain companies prior to Alpha Structural and was curious as to what he would propose. The first two companies had completely different solutions. Which I wasn't sure about. And then Arron from Alpha showed up. I've never known anyone who took as much time to inspect, ask key questions, try to simulate what areas were most vulnerable through use of a simple garden hose and then give several solution ideas - some more expensive than others but all practical. At no point did I feel I was being sold on any proposal and his application of logic to each proposal impressed me to the point I had to leave this review. Which I seldom do. Thank you, Aaron. read more
