Sinai's representatives Daniel Reyes and Fernando Valdespino were great to work with. They demonstrated they wanted the business and followed up without being buggish. Once they landed the job, they showed up on time and completed the work professionally and on time as promised. They made working with the FEMA-funded program easy and painless. I wish all construction workers performed like this company's employees. read more

Fernando and his crew was great to work with. I was concerned that the project would be messy, protracted, and it was just the opposite. Fernando made the coordination with FEMA's Earthquake Brace and Bolt program easy and quick, and the work is now done! Thank you! read more

Daniel, Jonathan and the entire Sinai crew did a great job adding additional foundation support to the center of our house. They also created an outside doorway to our crawlspace so we no longer have to clear out our closet to let contractors access under the house. Throughout the process they were prompt, professional and kept the work areas tidy and clean. They took exactly as much time as they said they would and the finished product looks great both inside (under the house) and out. They took care of anything we pointed out right away and went above and beyond to ensure the work area was perfectly clean when they left. This is the second job we've done with them; the first being foundation bracing. We brought them back because of how professional they were and we wouldn't hesitate to bring them back again if they need ever arises in the future. read more

Daniel, Fernando, and Jonathan were terrific to work with on our FEMA bracing and bolting project for a 1920's Spanish style house. I wanted someone who had done many of these projects and knew what needed to be done. Daniel was that person, ahead on every step. Fernando made sure his crew was there on time each day with everything they needed. And, the crew, Jonathan and his 2 partners, did the heavy lifting, and kept us informed every step of the way, in truly professional manner. read more

Sinai and Daniel Reyes as lead were an awesome team to work with. We purchased an apartment building which needed soft story work and from the very first interaction until the final step, they were on it and very communicative. Overall value for the price was great and we definitely recommend them to other apt building owners! read more

They were able to come out and fix the cracks in my foundation within 72 hours of calling for a consultation. so impressed with the speed!

Top-quality construction and the very best customer service make Sinai an easy choice for my foundation work. The site crew were always on time and left the jobsite tidy every day. Daniel kept me informed and answered all of my questions throughout. Very highly recommended. read more

Daniel emailed me that there would be $250 fee for estimate. I thanked him, but would pass. He thanked me for my reply. However, he later called my home for an appointment for estimate. My wife, not knowing I had settled the matter, asked whether there would be a fee for the inspection, he answered "no." This was confusing. I had to email again to say I would pass. read more

We hired Sinai Construction to retrofit our home. They were quick to respond, easy to communicate, arrived on time and finished as scheduled. Daniel was very helpful with the process and the team was very professional. They did our bolt foundation, wood blocking and cripple wall bracing around our entire foundation. Would highly recommend Sinai. Everything went smoothly and we could not have had a better experience. read more

Daniel/Sinai is amazing. Helped us navigate the Earhtquake Bolt & Brace program. Work was completed quickly and as promised. So responsive, reliable and truth worthy. Lucky we found them! read more

I'm pleased to endorse Sinai Construction for a job well done! Last year, we noticed the side of our house had a serious drainage issue. We've lived here for several years, but only noticed the problem recently with the heavier than usual rains. Every time it rained heavily, we experienced serious water intrusion into our usable basement and garage (2 separate areas of the property). I spoke to two other companies who recommended injecting the basement walls from the inside of the basement. I got the impression that those businesses worked on volume and were proposing work that wouldn't actually solve the problem. In contrast, Daniel came out with his team, took diligent measurements, sent me a detailed proposal, and explained to me the cause of the problem. He invited me to a neighbor's property to show me the work Sinai was doing there, which was similar to the work I needed at my property. I ended up going with Sinai Construction. I knew this job was more complicated than a simple leak, which was what the other companies wanted me to believe. The job was expensive, and I knew this up front. In the end, the price we paid was the price Sinai proposed--no surprises. We were in good hands with Daniel, Mario, and the entire Sinai Construction crew. They got to the root of the problems, fixed the issues, respected my property, and followed the timelines they proposed at the beginning of the project. There were no "change orders", and no drama. They did a superb job. I will now have peace of mind and won't get panic attacks every time it rains! Thank you Sinai Construction, I will be sure to refer neighbors and friends to your services! read more

Sinai Construction was amazing....again! We had them do the home earthquake retrofit. We selected Sinai again for my mom's house. The first time was for my in-laws. From selection to final inspection, Sinai took care of everything administratively, guided us through the EBB process, and kept us informed every step of the way. They made the whole experience and process seamless. We worked with Daniel Reyes, Sinai's GM, and he was an all-around professional. He responded to all my emails very quickly....and answered all of my questions and assured me of a hassle free and stress free experience, which it was. Jonathan was the foreman that was at the house when the work was being done and he made sure my mom knew what was going on. His team arrived promptly and worked diligently to complete the 3-day job on time. They all did a great job! I highly recommend Sinai Construction! read more

I am pleased to find SINAI Construction to complete my EBB program and had my house retrofitted. From the house inspection, price quoting, contract signing, uploading necessary documents, scheduling the job, performing the work, signing off with the city inspection and finalizing the paperwork, Daniel has been great in communicating courteously and professionally with me. Fernando, the inspector was nice and Mario, the lead worker was knowledgeable. The whole process was efficiently done within a short period of time, much faster than I expected. I am very thankful to God for providing the government subsidy and for SINAI Construction to finish the job well done. I certainly will recommend SINAI to other friends I know who need to do seismic retrofit for their houses. read more

Had a great experience working with Sinai Construction. EJ and Daniel came out to our hillside home and gave us honest feedback and a reasonable quote for our EBB retrofit. The crew was friendly and worked fast to get our retrofit done in just a couple of days. We look forward to working with Sinai again in the future! read more

The Sinai Construction crew was extremely helpful and did quality work. We were having our house bolted, and Daniel was instrumental in explaining the process for submitting the required information and photos to FEMA. He was super communicative and reliable. In addition to the earthquake bolting, we had Sinai complete a few extra jobs. My husband and I have been pleased with the results. read more

Since we've had a few of big rainstorms (for SoCal) in the the past few months, I can confidently recommend Sinai Construction without hesitation for their reliable work. read more

Had Sinai and another company provide me with a quote to retrofit my house for earthquakes. Daniel was very thorough in his quote and scope of work. The other company, not so much, but they were cheaper. Some areas with issues were overlooked by the other company, but Sinai provided pictures and reasons to address them now. They also provided an additional quote to match the other company's proposal. We decided to do the recommended work. So glad we went with Sinai. They were able to come out right away and made arrangements with our city to obtain permits and final approval. Daniel kept in communication with me every step of the way. He answered any questions I had in a timely manner and was eager to educate. I highly recommend Sinai Construction. read more

Daniel, Carlos and the entire Sinai construction team did great work and were very easy to work with. Also everything was cleaned up nicely every day the crew finished work and they started work first thing in the morning every day. I did a complete earthquake retrofit and there was a lot of behind the scenes work that needed to be done with the city, permits, photos, etc. before they could even start the work and Daniel was on top of everything from the get go. Also, Daniel was extremely responsive in returning calls, emails and overall keeping me in the loop of entire process. Very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend anyway looking at a construction project to give Sinai a call-great job! read more

Very disappointed and upset with how I was treated by this company. I contacted them to get an estimate for a simple retaining wall for which I already had the construction details. I was told that they charge a $100 "Inspection Fee" that includes a complete inspection, measurements and report. I thought it would be worth paying the fee to make sure I was doing the right thing. The company sent out an "inspector" named Josh, a young but nice looking guy that took some pictures and measurements. I gave him the $100 and asked him several questions to which he kept replying "I'll have to check with my supervisor". Hmmm? Why does the "inspector" not know the answer to my construction questions? Two days later, I get an Estimate from the company letting me know they would build the retaining wall for $67,000! No photographs, no report, no alternate ways to save money, and no explanation for why it costs so much! In other words, I got NOTHING in exchange for the $100 except an over-priced estimate. I have enough experience to know that their estimate isn't even in the ballpark! My mistake for agreeing to pay them $100 just to come out. I would have never agreed to this if I knew that all they were doing was putting a quick estimate together. Shame on you Sinai! Don't call it an "inspection" or "report" unless you're going to deliver. Please tell your potential clients the truth ... that you're simply charging $100 per estimate. Very deceptive! I emailed the company to let them know what had happened, to let them know that I felt deceived, and to let them know that I was very dissatisfied with what I received for $100. I was told "we've been in business for 34 years and you agreed to it." I will NEVER do business with this unethical company that values $100 more than their reputation. read more

I requested an estimate for drainage issues back in October 2017, and there was no mention in any of our correspondence that the estimate would take 3 weeks. The person who did the inspection was nice and thorough, but when he finished, he said I should have been told about the long lead-time. I emailed the company to see if we could expedite the process to get work done before the rainy season and was told they would get me something by the following week. Fast forward to four and a half MONTHS later and I receive an email out of the blue asking if I still want an estimate for the work. Why even bother to email at this point? It just reminds me that you lied about the time frame in the first place. read more

Sinai Construction was a pleasure to work with and helped fix my water issues! I bought my house probate with little information on it. During the first winter, I found out that one of the rooms floods every time it rains due to standing water from my neighbor's driveway. After dealing with it for a year, I finally decided to fix my problem using Sinai Construction. Daniel helped customize a plan based on my property's natural slope, using a sump pump system to pump out the water to the street. In conjunction with some waterproofing work, their work was put to the test yesterday and worked great! I am so relieved, and Daniel was patient, explained things easily, and worked on the price with me. His crew was friendly and professional and the job was done in a week. Very happy with my results. read more

I searched several firms and selected Sinai and am very happy with my decision. Throughout the entire process, Daniel and his team were reliable and provided thorough updates. If you're looking for a seismic retrofit, or any kind of foundation work for your home, look no further than Sinai construction! From the moment I first contacted them about the work I wanted done, I was impressed. Daniel Reyes, their general manager, came out and gave me a thoroughly detailed and well explained inspection, including photos of the areas that needed work. I awarded them the project and from beginning to end they did not disappoint. Their price was fair. Communication with Daniel couldn't have been better, and he couldn't have been more responsive. Their crew was knowledgeable, efficient, respectful of my family, pets, and property during the process, and they cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. Their work was completed in the time promised and inspected and signed off by the city without a hitch or correction. I sincerely recommend Daniel Reyes and Sinai Construction! read more

I just purchased a house with a huge crawl space. There was issues with dry rot and I was scared the foundation wood walls were compromise. I called several companies to check it out, and Sinai recommendations matched up with the other honest conclusions. They told me my foundation was great and had no compromise. They didn't try to upsell me on anything. Thank you Sinai Construction for peace of mind. read more

We used Sinai to re-support our sub floor after discovering in our first year of homeownership that we had foundation problems. They talked us through everything with patience (Daniel came to our house multiple times to talk options). They drew us pictures of the plan so we understood what piers they replaced, etc. We had 4 bids and they were the only one who provided a sketch with the proposal. The crew was professional, on time and hard workers. They cleaned up the job site each day, which we really appreciated. We would use Sinai again in the future, if needed! read more

I noticed a crack developing in my drywall and called a friend to handle the repair. When he visited, he noticed a crack in the stucco adjacent to the drywall crack and immediately said we have a foundation problem. I checked Yelp and found Sinai Construction. Joshua Brenna took the call and came out to inspect. He took photos and stated that he would go back to the office and meet with engineers to diagnose the problem and inform us what needed to be done to repair the foundation. Sinai emailed the proposal, we agreed to terms, and they started repairs. Yes it was loud and dusty but the workers were nice, polite, and kept everything neat and covered. We were so pleased with the process that we added earthquake bracing. Could not be happier with the results! Thanks Sinai Construction! read more

Sinai Construction - General Contractors Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Excellent job, they did my brace and bolting in a real professional manner. We are happy with that.

Timely; communicated the status and and changes promptly; professional- highly recommended.

Loved the fact that they were able to bolt the house to the foundation in one day. Crew was polite and professional.

I had them come out to do an inspection in early November. I had yet to hear anything back 3 weeks later, and they responded saying it typically takes a month to get results and recommendations. Well, now it's January 9th and still nothing. It's started raining and I have water leaking through my foundation. I wish they just would have said they couldn't do it so I could have found another vendor. Now it's rain season and I'm dealing with even more issues, costs, and headaches. Why not tell me you couldn't help me when I reached out 6 weeks ago? read more

We used Sinai Construction to do some foundation work (piers, posts, bolt and brace) and were really happy with the job they did. We passed the final inspection on the first go and feel confident that our house is properly braced and supported. Daniel was really quick to respond to every email and keep us posted throughout the process. The crew (led by Rolando) was great to work with -- they were communicative, professional, and really organized. They set up in our backyard and left it, I would say, cleaner than when they arrived. No complaints beyond things they couldn't control (the city and pandemic slowed things down, but that was expected). I would definitely hire them again. read more

We had two other companies besides Sinai Construction, for our retrofit project. We chose Sinai, because they were very precise and thorough in the explanation of the project and what it all entailed. Daniel and EJ presented themselves with a very personal attitude and put us at ease. Daniel consistently kept us appraised of the progress throughout the entire project. Daniel was very service-oriented and injected a reliable trust. Daniel did a tremendous and time consuming job in relation to getting all requirements to FEMA. The hardworking crew, Carlos, Gregorio and Sergio arrived on time, communicative, very professional, efficient, and organized, left the working area clean and in order. The retrofit was done in a promised time. The process was as interactive as we could have expected and wanted it to be. A very pleasurable experience as it could ever be for us. Company obtained permit and final approval from the city in a timely manner. Any future project we may need they will get a call. Their motto, "Aim Higher" and they did not disappoint. They deserve a "10". We highly recommend Sinai construction company. We are happy. read more

We have used Sinai Construction for all of the foundation projects and absolutely recommend them for any sort of foundation work. These guys know their business and are a real asset when it comes to dealing with the city grading/building department. About two years ago, we had to build a 100 foot retaining wall. Doing this on a hillside is a long and stressful process, but it had to be done. Gary and his crew were fabulous and did everything they could to make the job go as smooth as possible.
