We were in the market for an ATV and Yelp and Google led us to Kent Powersports in Selma and New…read moreBraunfels. We went to both locations but preferred this Selma location due to their wide selection of products. We picked up the Polaris Sportsman 450 H.O. EPS and Hammerhead MudHead 208R and was able to get free delivery to our home that evening literally less than two hours from the time of purchase. Our sales person, Chris Torres, was knowledgeable and explained the various charges such as freight, prep, doc, registration, etc. We did some negotiating such as getting the convenience fee for using a card waived. (That was a value of $400). Things to Note (and reason I removed a star): They don't inform you until it's time to pay that they charge a convenience fee for using a debit or credit card. We were also suppose to sign a paper after a full inspection at the dealership. It was already closing time and it was being loaded up in the trailer and unfortunately we weren't given the opportunity to inspect it prior to loading. We ended up signing the form after delivery in the dark at 8pm with no full inspection due to visibility. They also didn't have a full tank of gas in the Hammerhead MudHead.

This shop had my Motorcycle since Jan 22nd and did absolutely ZERO work towards it…read more. I picked it up today at 4PM with SAPD and the owner of Eric's Cycle Shop Eric Alborg did not even come outside he had some random guy give me the bike. He was no where to be seen during the encounter. After making it almost impossible to pick up as he was busy. Upon receipt of my bike some of the plastic coverings returned were not my original ones and were ones that were completely scratched up, rusted, and looked like shit.. it was missing screws the front wheel cover was loose the tank was scratched and dented the Ignition switch was gone my license plate was missing and some paint scratched up. That's all that I noticed thus far... I have it scheduled to take to another mechanic next week to assess all the damage caused by Eric Alborg and his shop.. I expressed this to this individual and he said he would relay it Eric and see if they could locate the missing parts as his shop was a mess and difficult to look for anything. An hour later i messaged Eric inquiring about all my missing parts and damages and he claimed that he returned the bike to me as is and its a piece of shit bike anyways not worth anything... We went back and forth for a bit but ultimately he refused to give me any parts that were missing as the bike was returned "As is" and he claimed that I signed the "Assassin document" which frees him of any liability of damaged, missing, stolen property.. i expressed if he simply returns my parts we can be done with each other... if not i would be pursuing legal action.. he responded "Go for it I'm closing my shop anyways so your not going to get shit out of me" then he continued to say asshole this asshole that and went as far as stating "You should remember I have your address when you dropped it off so I suggest you stop while your ahead if your smart".... He refuses to accept any responsibility by claiming this document protects him from anything and that if I want to waste my time and pursue legal action on " a bike worth a Jimmy and 5 bucks" then go for it... ultimately he was blocked and I now have a bike which I turned in to him in that was in tact and just had a leaking carburetor.. BEWARE OF ERIC ALBORG FROM ERIC'S CYCLE SHOP. HE IS LITERAL SCUM AND WILL NOT ONLY BE A HORRIBLE BUSINESS OWNER AND INDIVIDUAL BUT TREATS YOUR PROPERTY AND INDIVIDUAL SELF JUST AS SHITTY!!

I reached out immediately, explained the situation honestly, and asked if they would work with me in any reasonable way. They did absolutely nothing. No flexibility, no empathy, no attempt to help a recent customer who had barely put time on the bike. They wouldn't buy it back, wouldn't offer a trade, and wouldn't even consider taking it at half of what I paid, despite it essentially being a new bike. I understand businesses aren't charities -- but good dealerships stand behind their customers, especially when circumstances are out of their control and the purchase was brand new. This place showed zero interest in maintaining a relationship once the sale was done. If you're looking for a dealership that values long-term customers or basic human decency, look elsewhere. I will never do business with them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone
