The paint bubbled over my shower. Not knowing what the cause was, I called ALP and Shaun came right away. There was a water leak from my neighbors above me. Shaun found the leak source right away. The whole crew was kind, professional and supportive of my needs. They gave me estimates for my insurance adjuster. Insurance responded quickly so ALP got right to work accommodating my schedule. The work they did was high quality and fairly priced. I highly recommend ALP for restoration work. read more

The Alp team were professional and completed great quality of work. They were accommodating to any of our requests for additional suggestions or changes to work. They were on time from start to finish. read more

It was one disappointment after another and endless months in poor quality and no sense of scheduling to "complete" the job. This company is unprofessional, inexperienced, often doesn't know what it's doing, although it claims to act like a general contractor for my home's slab leak repair. Don't believe in their promises, nor their schedule. My mom's home had a slab leak, my mom was dying of lung cancer, it was extremely urgent to get this slab leak repair done quickly and efficiently in order to get my mom back into the safety and security of her home for her last few days, yet even this urgency wasn't enough for this company to get its act together. It never did! We had no choice to move back into the house, even before ALP was able to finish. Yet, their work was mediocre, with lots of mistakes and yet so slow at everything. Shame on ALP's negligence! Don't believe their promises! You will regret to deal with these bozos, especially the owner Tim and his Mexican work crew who loves pitching extra work (for extra money, of course). They want your insurance money in full, then they disappear! I've had to redo a lot of their plumbing work by real professionals afterwards. read more

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life (73) years. They leave your house a complete mess when they finish. It took us three days to just get the drywall dust off the floors. They make a complete mess of your ceiling and do not do any repairs at all. After charging $4400 to repair two lines they say there are still other leaks and suggests that I have the whole house re-piped for about the same that it cost for them to do their two lines repair and the mess they left in the house as far as repairing the ceilings. Nowhere on their contract or work order that they claim is their contract do they mention that they will not be repairing the ceilings or walls after they are finished. If you are looking for a company that leaves your house a complete mess after they are finished, and does not get the results of having the leaks completely repaired in your house before telling you that you need to get a complete Repipe with another company this is the one. I've have called three different repair companies, that all told me that the work that ALP restoration work would have to be redone in order to warrantee the new work, and that any holes left by ALP Restoration, which would be an additional 1500 to 2000 dollars. read more

I called because there is a gas smell in our kitchen when the oven and range burners are off, and we needed help isolating the gas leak, something ALP advertises they handle. I also explained there was an urgency because I learned from a biofeedback test that I have natural gas poisoning! They agreed to come out on Monday. Within 5 minutes, after "looking" at my standalone range, told me that I should call out an appliance repairman first to make sure it isn't the oven causing the problem. Really?? I was disappointed. Later in the day, I called an appliance repairman who said that I should contact a General Contractor specializing in kitchens, so I did. The General Contractor said I needed a plumber to isolate the leak! Ugh! Luckily, this particular general contractor runs a family business and they have a separate plumbing company and I called and made an appointment for Wed. Seems to me that the ALP plumber just had no interest in the job - not sure why. He left their 7"x9" glossy advertisement card, where it clearly includes bullet points for "Gas Line Repairs" and "Slab Leaks" -- but apparently, they will only isolate the problem if they "feel like it", and this guy didn't feel like it apparently. Oh well, at least I found another plumbing company that is willing to help me. read more

My mom called ALP due to dampness seeping through a common wall with a neighbor. They inspected and found mold/mildew and recommended immediate remediation. Tim was the person who came and they discussed that the water was coming from the neighbors side and he said he would talk to the neighbor and also send him an invoice. (He never gave the neighbor an invoice or estimate). Upon doing the remediation, ALP discovered dampness/mold/mildew in two additional rooms so the quote more than doubled. ALP completed the remediation and then gave me another quote for repairing the damage done to the rooms--including replacing drywall, baseboards, etc. This quote was extremely high and upon checking it closely, I discovered that their measurements of one of the rooms was over triple the actual size of the room. They said it was a "typo" and adjusted the quote down by $5000! Since the quote was still extremely high, I contacted another company for a quote to repair the damage and their price was less than 1/3 of ALP's. We were happy with the work done for the mold remediation--it was handled quickly and efficiently. read more

This business also goes by Express Plumbing We had a slab leak in our living room and needed someone to stop the leak ASAP. We had a local yellow page directory of which we found the advertisement of TCS Express Plumbing. They did respond fairly quickly to come in and shut off the water. The technician that came named Shawn was actually a nice guy and he was the one that deployed the dehumidifiers, fans etc. He lifted up the carpet, removed the padding and proceeded to dry the place up. He then assured us that they would handle dealing with the insurance company and that they had a lot of experience dealing with insurance companies. The next day they sent a plumbing crew of two to tap the leaky pipe at both ends and re-route the broken line which was in the slab through the walls and ceiling and reconnect it in the kitchen. They cut out so many holes in the drywall, which were very sloppy and re-routed a copper pipe through the walls. The pipe they replaced was routed poorly. Not straight, parts of the pipe were kinked and they damaged a shower drain pipe when they were soldering the pipe. I then received a call from the woman in the office, which I found out was the owners mother. She then lectured me for 15 minutes on how they would deal with the insurance company and keep us informed of everything that was happening. They only have an answering service. You cannot call directly to the office and speak with someone. This is very frustrating. It would take a day before we would get a call back. When asked if I could call the tech directly, she adamantly stated that all calls must go through the answering service. Every time you call the service they would ask for all the information, like address etc. I told them they already had the info, but still insisted we give it to them again. This woman tried to portray her company as high tech and that emails would be sent directly to an iPhone so they could respond quickly. WRONG. They never talked to the insurance company and instead would email me statements demanding payment. I had to deal with the insurance company myself. They offered no help. Come to find out, this is a very small company with only about 15 total employees, which is why it would take days to accomplish anything. They still have not come to patch the drywall. I have since had another company come to inspect the work because I was afraid that we would have another leak. They told us that the re-route was done poorly not to mention that so many holes in the drywall were not necessary to re-route. I would not recommend this company for any type of services they provide. I give them and F. read more

Had a slab leak in my wall that others could not detect where it was coming from. They were available to do the work right away. This could have been more damage involved. But a friend of mine definitely recommended Tim and the staff of ALP and,I will be passing the word if anyone I know ever needs plumbing service in the future. read more

There staff and work crew are great. They get the job done perfectly when I had mold in my attic and under my carpet. Took about 3weeks to a month to finish but great price and qaulity of work was amazing read more

This company suffers from an unprofessional attitude about the way they conduct their business. Their approach to leak and restoration work is tear everything apart, put blowers in place for days on end, that resulted in further damage to walls and cabinets. Their personnel are rough in their handeling of ones property and creating additional damage which they have no thought about rectifying or repairing. Their clean-up and remodel work leaves alot to be desired! Upon job completion; they want to overcharge for work completed, not compensate owner for damages by their personnel and then want to file a mechanics lien on owner for expenses deducted to repair damages by their personnel. Hire ALP Restoration and Tim Thornton only if you want a long delayed unprofessional job that requires additional vendors to complete! read more

This company deserves no stars, but they get one because as plumbers they're good . But the restoration part I totally don't recommend them. They took over my house for weeks restoring 3 rooms after a slab leak. They had one worker come out daily who sat around supposedly putting in flooring but at the end of the day he wasn't any further than when he started! They left every day without picking up their mess. The place was a danger to walk around. They left their equipment out where a person could trip. A job that should have taken a week tops was still going on after 4 weeks and I finally fired them. My home owners insurance told me they overcharge and all the money from my insurance was used up before I fired them. I just wanted them out of my house! I would never recommend this company! read more

I can't express my gratitude enough. Let's put it this way, it looked like a a volcano blew up in my shower Saturday at 7pm. I don't want to describe what came out. I tried to call several companies that advertised emergency services but no one bothered picking up the phone. I got really lucky getting a hold the owner himself, Vladimir. Vladimir arrived at my home on a Saturday night within 20 minutes. No other business bothered returning a phone call. Vladimir examined every possibility to get the job done effectively and he did. Not only did he do a great job fixing the plumbing issue but his pricing was very reasonable considering it was an emergency service. I Can't thank him enough. A plumber for life. Thank you. read more

ALP is the best! They are a full-service company and you can count on them for 24-hour emergencies. I was referred to them from a neighbor who couldn't say enough good things. Tim came to do a leak test when we noticed a water puddle on our kitchen floor. He did a comprehensive analysis and did not charge for the leak test. In this case it happened to be a leak from our fridge. One year later I called back for another issue but this time water was coming from a crack in the floor. Tim and his crew did the necessary work to dry down the floor and replace a tile that was loose. We ended up having a slab leak and the work crew replaced our floor. They worked with our home owners insurance company which saved us from paying out of pocket. ALP is no-nonsense and got the job done in a quick and timely manner without hassle. ALP is the company who you should hire. They are honest and knowledgeable and I liked that they were clean and always on time. I am a customer who holds companies to a high standard and ALP plumbing is the best! read more

Tim installed a new gas line to my kitchen. He offered reasonable pricing and was very prompt with his timing. What sets him apart is after my stove got in, I discovered it wasn't working properly. Tim came back at no charge to help me troubleshoot the problem and make sure I was completely satisfied. The problem was a quick fix and was resolved immediately. That's great customer service that's rare in the service industry! I I'll definitely use him again. read more
