BBQ Wings were perfect. The haddock (fish and chips of course) was good. Again the only downside is everything is fried. It made the overall meal a little heavy. But the food was good. I would like an original tartar sauce with the fish. I am not a fan of the packets (we did have it delivered they may have tartar sauce in the restaurant). We ordered delivery and it arrived hot and delicious! Husband ordered the 1 lb Shrimp boil bag and I did the Black Mussels. The corn and potatoes in them were perfectly cooked and tasty and both are seafoods were well seasoned and delicious. My old bay was a bit salty but his Cajun he said was spot on! For a place called aloha krab I would expect their crab fried rice to have real crab in it. Nowhere on their door dash service does it say that this dish is fake crab. Nice job Aloha Krab! I ordered the Green Mussels and Dungeness Crab Bag with the Aloha Special sauce...and it was DELICIOUS!! The sauce is so flavorful and it was just the right amount of spicy for me. I will definitely be back for more! My coworker ordered the Fried Calamari and the Crab Fried Rice. The Calamari was also delicious...but you guys are dead wrong for placing the imitation crab meat on top of the fried rice lol. I will still give it 5 stars for all the other deliciousness that we tried though. Use real crab meat in the fried rice next time, it would be so much better!! read more

We called before arriving to clarify some online ordering concerns just for us to order online and get there and he tells us that the online ordering wasn't working. During COVID, Aloha Krab is only take out located at the current Flaming Grill buffet. The food is delicious. We ordered the "Family special" with the 1lbs of snow crab legs, shrimp, and clams in the garlic butter sauce with medium spice and it was good. This has been one of the better seafood restaurants I've been to, that's right in the Frederick area anyways, they just opened too. The waiter was super friendly, I arrived earlier than expected and they prepared my meal within 15mins. I got the Aloha combo with Dungeness crab, clams and shrimp, Cajun spice with garlic butter sauce. My husband got king crab with lemongrass sauce. We ultimately enjoyed our meal. The amount was so abundance I had to save my leftovers for the next day. Their prices are also reasonable. The sauce is very rich and we both got spice level medium, which we perfect. I'm always in the mood for quality sea food. I saw that this place just opened up. I was impressed on anyone willing and wanting to open during a pandemic. I did a carry out order. I saw the sign on the door requiring masks and the social distancing marks on the floor. The employee greeted me as I entered. He was polite, and had a mask on. My order was ready and the exchange was quick, clean and took less then two minutes. The bag was hot and I felt the entire exchange was safe and germ free. I live about five minutes away so it didn't take me long to get home to see what I got. The food was very large quantity. I got the popcorn shrimp basket(8) with fries and a side of chicken wings. The shrimp were huge! They were the size of golf balls. The amount of fries I got, I'd say it was a belly-buster amount. The wings were crispy and meaty. I was very happy with my order. My wife got a pound of snow crab legs. She said they were tasty but the bag they were transported in was solid and leak proof but there was so much butter and the food sat in it while I traveled home that made everything slippery and if we had to travel any farther then five minutes to our house the butter would of harden. Overall the food was great, I am looking forward to when dine-in is available and I can get the food without it having to travel. Seafood and carryout/delivery is always hard. I look forward to see how Aloha crab adapts. Maybe the butter/sauce could be in a separate container or a better designed to-go container. First off we were really excited to try this place out, we saw some bad reviews and didn't pay attention much. It's located in the flaming grill on 40 which makes it seems kinda bad. So we ordered half lb of lobster, you could definitely tell it was not. The lobster barely had meat in it so that was kinda disappointing we also ordered the fried calamari and it was not great either. It was very chewy and just wasn't appetizing. I love seafood in a bag spots. This one, not so much. Simply put, the seafood doesn't taste fresh or like quality especially when compared to other seafood in a bag restaurants. The food is really good. They have a large buffet selection and as well as ordering just seafood such as crab legs, claw fish, lobster, and so on. I ordered 1/2 lb of snow crab legs and also the buffet. Price for lunch was great $11 for 1 adult. The crab legs were $15 for 1/2 lb. Pretty good prices. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I never was asked if I needed a refill on my drank. ******Do not order any of the sandwiches (unless you ask for no lettuce**** I ordered here through grubhub yesterday and I got the shrimp poboy with Cajun fries, garlic bread, crab bisque, 1/2lb of snow crab legs in Cajun sauce and hushpuppies. I'll start off with saying that shrimp itself was good and they're very large/good portion. The trauma started when I lifted the shrimp to put the sauce on the bread of the sandwich and that's when I found a lot of little pieces of brown slimy lettuce all over the bread and a hard piece of the very bottom part of the lettuce stalk. It would've been ok if the lettuce was just a little brown, but this was what you find when forget about the bag of salad in your fridge. The fries were good, the hush puppies were good. Don't waste your money on the garlic bread. You do get a lot for $5 but it was so stale when it got here. It tasted like the Texas toast you find in the freezer section which is fine, but it was so stale that it had to have been out all day or just reheated. As for the 1/2 lb of snow crab legs, it wouldn't be fair to review them because they were overcooked from sitting in the plastic bag for the less than 5-10 mins it took the grubhub driver to go from the restaurant to my house. I wasted my money but that's what I get for ordering seafood takeout. It was almost impossible to get the crab meat out of the legs because they were so overcooked. That's my fault for ordering crab legs for takeout. Next time I try a new restaurant I will wait for more reviews and pictures. Extremely disappointment in my meal. My delivery experience from Grubhub was great and a lot faster than I thought, I wish the food from Aloha Krab would've been better. read more

We love the seafood in a bag restaurants and when we saw that we had one in Frederick we were stoked to try it. My son and I went for dinner one night and here is what I think. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess/Server and she did not ask do we want the Buffet (as they are still a part of Flaming Grill) or Aloha Krab she just seated us and went to get our drinks and then dropped them off walked away and then pointed for us the way of the buffet. I shook my head no and she came over and said what do you want I asked for a menu for Aloha Krab. We ordered the snow crab legs and side of fries as our meal. The flavor of the sauce was good and I liked the corn and potatoes added to the bag. I was really disappointed in the crabs as they were over cooked or steamed as it was hard to get the meat out. My son said he would try it again and I said if it comes down to it maybe I would as well but I would rather drive the 50 minutes to Falls Church to HNJ.
