    Catfish basket with onion rings
    Laura J.

We visited this place for the first time after seeing it from the highway. The atmosphere is very homely - neat, well lit, and plenty of seating for families (both booths and tables). The table is set with a construction paper for messy meals such as boils. I wasn't sure about the service at first. When first seated, no one came to our booth to get our drinks but a woman (manager perhaps) came by and asked if we had been served and when we replied "no," a waitress came to our table shortly afterwards and was very apologetic which improved the experience. She was very kind and took our orders and drinks since we were ready. Food: -Creamy crab soup - a watered down version of a classic cream of crab soup, lacked flavor and tasted more like milk and less like crab. -Catfish basket with onion rings - everything was fried wonderfully but the catfish was seasoned but was not flavorful as I've had before. The onion rings, however, were delicious! -Coleslaw - typical coleslaw. Nothing new. -Tilapia and fried shrimp basket - my fiancé wanted to try both and thankfully the restaurant allows combos (2 pieces of tilapia instead of 4 and 4 pieces of shrimp instead of 8) - fine tasting not memorable. Overall - it was a fine dining experience. The serving sizes are huge which makes for a great leftover meal!

Delicious and great prices!!! Don't be fooled by the small appearance from the outside. Come inside to find a spacious, nicely decorated restaurant with lots of seating. Definitely not cramped. The menu is amazing. Lots to choose from for the whole family. The food tasted delicious and fresh. The food came out in decent amount of time and the service was great. The waitress was great at explaining the menu options. Great place for a date, family night out or a meet up with friends. Highly recommend this place for the food and ambiance.

I'm used to seafood boil in NYC and being in West Virginia for work and being unable to find any, this was a pleasant find after driving to the Hagerstown outlets. I would definitely go back and recommend it as well! My friend and I went here Sunday around 6:45pm. It was fairly empty and we were greeted and seated right away. They have plenty of seating, both tables and booths. Ashiya was our server and she was really sweet and attentive. The food was really good! Fresh and flavorful! The service was super fast as well! We couldn't believe how fast our food came out. We both got the Monday special (1/2lb crab legs, black mussels , and headless shrimp) but I substituted the black mussels for green mussels and paid the difference in price. We both got the juicy special for sauce option and I got the hot and he had the medium. We also had a half pound of sausage as well. The portion size was more than enough and definitely worth the price, we weren't even able to finish it. I had the vodka punch and my friend had the rum runner. Both tasted good, they just weren't strong. Both were $8.25.

Was traveling through the area, this was a recommended lunch spot by the locals. I have been to other boil houses before, this one was on par with the others. The addition of the noodles to the bag was new and a very creative addition. It was very tasty. We arrived in the afternoon. It was not ver busy, so there was not a wait. We ordered drinks and the hush puppy appetizer. They were crispy and had a nice sweet tinge to them. We order our boil, the standard offerings. I opted for the sausage and shrimp combo, added the spaghetti and the "juicy special" sauce. This is a combination of all the sauce offering and you can still pick your spice level. There was plenty of food in the bag and the sauces were great! And the noodles made a very good complement due to the absorption of the sauce. Overall a pleasant experience.

I've been searching for a good seafood place and this place did not disappoint. First time here but will not be my last. I ordered a delicious drink called Liquid Marijuana which was fruity and not overly powering. Then came the food! Yummy! Got Alaskan crab legs and headless shrimp with old bay seasoning. Came with potatoes and corn and the incredible garlic butter side. Will be taking my entire family back. The prices are also very reasonable and the service was on point. They also have blue crabs! Win-win!!!

Great Staff, Great atmosphere, Great food. 10/10 Would return. We had the snow crabs, shrimp, and black mussels. The crab cakes and cajun fries were also bomb. Food came out fresh and hot.

Happy Mother's Day to me! The husband bought me lunch, and it was amazing food. We ordered two different fish boil pots with the juicy seasoning, not too hot but hot enough. Portions are large. The larger pot, we ordered extra sausage and clams. The atmosphere was great! When you drive up, the front doesn't look appealing, but the inside is nice. Our service was awesome! Price is on the higher side, but you are getting so much seafood, and it's equal to other places we have been with a similar menu.

We got 1 pound of mussels and 1 pound of snow crabs in the spicy Cajun sauce. We spent about $50 for two people. I found it to be reasonable. Our waitress was nice, the food and drinks were great and fresh. We will be back!

    Holiday Special

I've been meaning to try this place and glad I finally did. Its nice that there's a place you can get a seafood boil anytime because I feel like they're hard to come by. I ordered takeout online and got the 'Holiday Special.' You get to pick how spicy you want it and what kind of sauce (I recommend the juicy special, sooooo good). It was 3 snow crab leg clusters, 1 lobster tail, 1/2 lb shrimp, lots of mussels, 4 corn, 4 red potatoes, a bunch of sausage, and 2 hard boiled eggs all for only $65.99! Crazy good deal and everything tasted great. They packaged it up good for travel too, double bagged & then in an aluminum pan and into another bag. Definitely try this place!

The decor is like someplace you'd find on the eastern shore...casual with lots of model boats and sea motif artwork. The service was very friendly, they treat your like you are family...happy to answer any of your questions. The service was prompt and professional. The food of course is went we went and it was delicious! We had a cup of crab bisque which at first sight was super thick...but happy to say that it wasn't pasty. It was hot flavorful with an old bay seasoning that was just right. We also ordered the crab dip appetizer which came with crispy toasted pita. It was thick with flaked crab, perfectly seasoned and creamy. It made for a wonderful opening dish. Only downside was that it arrived at the same time as our entrees. We both ordered the fresh, fried oyster platter which came with 5 sizeable oysters plus two sides. I got fried and hushpuppies, and my wife got onion rings and coleslaw. The oysters were perfect, mild tasting, with cocktail sauce or tartar sauce, lightly breaded. Delicous. The serving of hushpuppies was huge. They were crispy and just dense enough with out bring doughy. The onion rings were coated in a beer batter that was perfect. Crispy and light. Not like other places who's beer batter rings are so thick you can't find the onion. The rings here were very good. Do expect to pay for your fresh seafood. While the ambience is casual, the prices are not. A dozen steamed crabs in peak season were over $90! I could buy 4 lobsters at the grocery store for the same price. I know that this price is not unusual, in just saying that if you are looking for fresh seafood, you will need to expect to pay for it. It's not a place I could afford to visit every week, but when I'm in the mood for seafood, either to cook at home or to eat out, this business will be high on my list.

The location is beautiful, and the inside of the building is just as impressive. It was warm, spacious, and perfect for a holiday meal. As for the buffet, it offered your typical catered-style items: a mix of brunch dishes and classic Thanksgiving staples. The dessert table was large and had a nice variety. We had one of the last reservations of the day, and I do think timing affected the experience. The food was good, but not great. A few dishes, like the mac and cheese, clearly sat for a while. I honestly believe if we had come earlier, we would've had a different impression of the food quality. The dessert table also showed some signs of being at the end of service, but still had good options. The staff, however, was excellent (well most)! A special shoutout to the Thanksgiving Day bartender--she was friendly, attentive, and very apologetic after an uncomfortable interaction with another staff member. When I asked about drinks, a gentleman (who appeared to be a manager) chimed in with a surprisingly negative and harsh response toward myself and another guest. It created a very awkward moment, and even the bartender was embarrassed by his tone. Based on that interaction alone, I'd hesitate to return if I were in the area again. Shoutout to the hostess as well, she was great.
