First time coming to this location. Indoor dining area was very clean and we were greeted by a friendly staff member. I proceeded to order the adult size pineapple chicken, which came with a side of macaroni, salad and white rice. This dish was delicious. My husband got there smaller portion in a local moco and it came with one beef, patty, and fried egg with gravy over rice. This dish was under par. The gravy wasn't as flavorful and the patty you can tell was not freshly made. Anyways will be back here soon to try other items on the menu.

Great service from the cashier at this restaurant, place is nicely decorated, clean, and welcoming. We got the chicken katsu plate and the crab rangoons. The chicken katsu was good, nice and crispy. The Rangoon were super delicious. I would come back for Hawaiian bbq here

Went back to give this place another chance. Got the bbq chicken saimin and my boyfriend got the bbq chicken mini meal. Both were delicious, the bbq chicken tastes great. Highly recommend getting anything with the bbq chicken.

A whole pool of oil

Ordered from here since Ono was closed. Big disappointment! I ordered the kalbi short ribs and they were burnt and gave me so many random pieces. I lifted up my ribs because they were so oily and when I saw my cabbage drenched in oil I lost my appetite. Thankfully door dash was able to give me some credit back.

Shrimp, Mac salad, and rice

This is my absolute FAVORITE place for Hawaiian food. The Mac salad is always so good and the shrimp is my favorite! Nice staff as well.

Chicken and CARNE ASADA TERIYAKI

I would never again come to this place. The food was not up to par and tell me why I ordered chicken and beef TERIYAKI and when I checked the plate it was chicken and CARNE ASADA TERIYAKI. Bruh. Never again, try another Hawaiian bbq just not this one! Very disappointed

Bbq is delicious service is great and at a reasonable price. I liked they were able to expand their location and bought next door and they added the bar and more tables. In all the years it's maybe been 12 or 13 years they always served fresh delicious bbq !!! Never changed their menu kept everything the same. Probably why they have been so successful ! The brisket was tender and had a really nice smoky flavor. The Cajun hot links had a good amount of seasoning and a little kick, while the baby back ribs were tender and flavorful with a nice barbecue taste. For the sides, the macaroni salad was creamy and went really well with the BBQ. The garlic mashed potatoes were smooth, flavorful, and made the meal even more filling. The pink lemonade was cold, sweet, and refreshing, which was a good pairing with everything. Really enjoyed the Triple Threat because it let me try a little bit of everything. Definitely recommend Badlands BBQ, and I'll definitely be back to try some of their other BBQ options.

Best rolls & best BBQ sauce!…read more Even though I don't eat meat, I love to come to Wood Ranch in Corona for their drinks, appetizers, and rolls. The berry smash drink is one of my top all time favorite drinks ever! If you're a fan of berries and sweet drinks, this is definitely one to try. There are not a lot of vegetarian options here, but that's obviously to be expected with a BBQ place, but I'm still able to make do with some of their appetizers. I love the buffalo cauliflower, spinach dip, and Caesar salad. When I did eat meat a couple of years ago, I tried their pork sliders, and they were melt in your mouth delicious. My friends and I love to come here for their drinks and rolls with a side of BBQ sauce to dip the rolls in. Their BBQ sauce is so amazing! The staff here is always very friendly and the restaurant is always very clean. They have a delicious butter cake that is served with ice cream on the dessert menu that I would definitely recommend as well.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AT WOOD RANCH BBQ…read more On Sunday, October 18th, a friend and I stopped at Wood Ranch BBQ for a late lunch. Initially, the service was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the experience took a very different turn once our food arrived. I ordered a rack of ribs with a baked potato, and my friend ordered a tri-tip salad with a baked potato. Shortly after eating, I began feeling nauseated and became so ill that I could only eat approximately a quarter of my meal. Within about 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant, my friend actually vomited in her car. Initially, we chalked it up to an unfortunate experience and moved on. However, after speaking with another friend, I decided it was important to notify the restaurant, not because I wanted anything in return, but because I felt they should be made aware of what happened so they could investigate and potentially prevent other patrons from having the same experience. I called the restaurant and spoke with someone who assured me the manager would return my call on Wednesday. Almost a week later, I finally received a call. The manager began by apologizing for the delay in getting back to me. Unfortunately, that was about the extent of the apology. He proceeded to explain how they prepare their food fresh every day and essentially dismissed the possibility that our illness could have been related to our meal. He even acknowledged that he could understand why I might think we got sick from eating there, but insisted that couldn't have been the case. What was most disappointing was his complete lack of empathy. At no point did he say, "I'm sorry you had that experience," nor did he make any attempt to acknowledge our concerns or offer any accommodation. I explained to him that I wasn't calling to ask for a refund, a free meal, or anything else. I was simply trying to bring something to their attention because I genuinely didn't want other patrons getting sick. For perspective, I was so pleased with our waitress that I left her a generous tip despite feeling ill and barely eating my meal. She did her job exceptionally well, and I certainly didn't want her service to go unrecognized. However, the management response was an entirely different story. There are three things that left a lasting impression: 1. It took nearly a week for management to return my call. 2. There was no genuine apology or expression of concern for what we experienced. 3. There was an immediate effort to dismiss responsibility rather than simply acknowledge the concern and take it seriously. I understand that food-related illnesses can be difficult to pinpoint, and I'm not suggesting that the restaurant deliberately served us bad food. However, when two people become ill shortly after eating at the same establishment, I would think that warrants at least some concern and investigation. Customer service doesn't end when the food is delivered. How management responds when a customer raises a legitimate concern says just as much about a business as the service itself. Unfortunately, Wood Ranch BBQ has lost a customer. What could have been a simple conversation handled with a little empathy and professionalism turned into a very disappointing experience. Sometimes, all a customer wants is to be heard. Apparently, that was too much to ask.

The best part of this place isn't actually the steaks, but the Fresh-Baked Rolls with Cinnamon…read moreHoney Butter: As soon as the server seats you, they immediately serve hot, fresh-out-of-the-oven, fluffy rolls. You don't have to sit here hungry waiting for your main course, which gives them a huge edge over other steakhouses. Plus, both the rolls and the cinnamon honey butter are free and unlimited! Free Unlimited Roasted Peanuts: Still available, but you have to ask your server for them. 12 oz. Ribeye & Ribs Combo with 2 Sides ($39.49): 1/2 Slab Ribs (One of the main combo items & signature dishes): The ribs are cooked perfectly. You don't even need a knife--the meat easily falls off the bone with just a fork. The upper part tastes great with a nice crisp and light char, though the lower section lacks juice and feels a bit dry. The combo comes with an entry-level half portion (1/2 Slab Ribs), whereas a single entree order gets you a full portion (Full Slab Ribs). Hand-Cut Boneless Ribeye (The second main combo item & signature dish): The portion is very solid; 12 ounces of pure, boneless meat. Compared to many other restaurants that claim 12 ounces but include a huge bone (which feels a bit misleading), this is very generous. They offer a house steak sauce, but I find skipping it is best--tasting just the roasted steak with the sautéed mushrooms is plenty flavorful on its own. The edge pieces with a bit of fat offer the best bite. Overall, the meat is tender and juicy with some sinew, which might not be ideal for anyone with sensitive teeth. Note that the combo serves the entry-level 12 oz. size, while single entrees range from 14 to 16 oz. Cactus Blossom ($7.00): A Texas-sized, golden-fried whole onion that easily feeds 3 to 4 people. The only drawback is that it is quite greasy. Grilled Shrimp Appetizer ($8.49): It features a slightly spicy, sour, and sweet flavor profile topped with lemon juice and New Orleans Cajun sauce. However, the chef has a heavy hand tonight--both the grilled shrimp and the bread underneath taste quite salty. 8 oz. Grilled Salmon with 2 Sides ($24.99): The doneness and juiciness of the fish are spot-on. But as mentioned, the chef goes heavy on seasoning tonight, making the salmon turn out pretty salty. Adding sautéed mushrooms on top of steaks or fish costs an extra $2.99. Sides & Extras: Applesauce: Standard quality, resembling a light, sweet sauce typical of American home cooking. Fortunately, this sweetness perfectly cuts through the heavy saltiness of the shrimp and salmon. Salad: I pick the Thousand Island dressing. The shredded cheese here tastes much better than at many other restaurants. Loaded Baked Sweet Potato: Generous portion, sweet, and delicious! As a side note, upgrading to the version topped with toasted marshmallows and cinnamon honey butter costs an extra $1.79. I only notice after paying the bill that the server forgot to bring out the sweet potato. When I bring it up, the server immediately gets me a fresh one from the kitchen to take home without any hassle. Buttered Corn, Fresh Vegetables (Broccoli & Carrots), and Seasoned Rice: These sides are fairly standard and average in flavor. Drinks: Blue Crush Lemonade ($3.99) & Wild Strawberry Lemonade ($3.99): Not recommended. They taste like very ordinary artificial syrup drinks. I suggest skipping these and grabbing a boba tea nearby instead. Compared to other steakhouses where a steak easily costs $50 or $60, Texas Roadhouse offers generous portions at a very affordable price. Fun fact: Despite the name "Texas Roadhouse," this chain does not originate from Texas. Its headquarters is in Kentucky, and its very first location opened in Indiana.

I didn't have much room for my food nor enough space to eat. The rolls were wonderful as usual and the service was great, however, it was also very loud so I couldn't hear any conversations on my table. Worst of all, I ordered the 12oz ribeye steak (medium rare) with ribs, and my 2 sides. The ribs fell off the bone but it was sooo dry and burnt that there really wasn't much meat to eat. The steak was very charred as well and definitely not medium rare. It was well done. I didn't eat it. I cut it in the middle and definitely dry and fully cooked. Sooo basically my dinner tonight was 2 dinner rolls, corn and a few bites of Mac & cheese. The server brought me a new steak, but the rest of my party was already done eating, so I had him pack it to go. What a waste. Such a huge disappointment for me tonight. Lousy burnt ribs and over cooked steak.
