Staffs are always friendly and good people no matter which Suju's Coffee & Tea locations you visit. It's truly a more affordable and casual public cafe/coffee shop/pastries/sandwiches environment. My cashier was easy to talk to. Need a code for public restroom usage. Clean and spacious place here. I ordered the egg salad sandwich because I was on a strict diet, but somehow got the tuna sandwich delivered to my table. I was not upset, but that was a first at any Suju's Coffee & Tea for me. I can't even have pastries today due to temporary diet restrictions. Sandwiches are still good and coffee/tea prices are still very affordable and good. I grabbed a can of coconut water and had a small hot green tea in a cup. Place was very comfortable and finding seats early in the morning was a breeze. Restrooms are clean too. In general, all locations are legit for this type business. I always enjoy my visits.

Plus, it's large enough for 2+ servings. It's your typical simple utilitarian donut shop with two booths to eat-in. It's very clean & tidy. The ladies are quick and courteous. There's always at least one or two people in line ahead of you, no matter what time of day it is. Which means it's good! Get there early by 10/10:30 am: breakfast sandwiches are definitely all gone by then and the donut case is down to maybe a third full. The early bird gets the best & freshest donuts! They come out warm if you get there early enough (5-7 am). Sometimes they have tamales and fried egg rolls for sale, which are delicious too. You can probably call in to order them. I decided to be adventurous and branch out to try something different. The chocolate frosted chocolate cake donut ($1.75) was medium chocolatey, fresh, a little bit crisp, and lightly sweet. Will get it again when I'm in the mood for chocolate and cake donuts. The apple fritter ($2.75) had a few chunks of apple, slightly crisp, a little cinnamon and sweet, fried perfectly (not oily), but it was spread-out flat. I like mine with lots of crags almost crunchy, filled with apples & cinnamon, and lofty & yeasty. I'll pass on it in the future, unless it looks more craggily and dome shaped next time. Docked a half star. I got a maple bar filled with custard cream ($2.75) and it was giant, filled to the brim from both sides! The filling was a vanilla pudding and they were so generous, it almost burst when I bit into it. The maple flavor was fragrant and the donut was yeasty good, but the filling had a funny aftertaste - an astringent bitter like artificial sweetener. Sorry, I had to dock another half star for this misstep. Next time I'll just get the maple bar plain ($2.50). I noticed the prices are higher by about 50¢, if you order online through DoorDash or other apps. Also if you buy a half dozen or more donuts, the pink box is free. Otherwise, it's 50¢.

In addition to frozen (frappe) coffee drinks, they have fruit freeze drinks and juices. I was there at lunchtime during a weekday and there were people dining in. But it's a cozy local shop. I kind of wish they still had donuts though. Credit card is now only a minimum of $6. Today we got a sausage egg cheese on a sun dried tomoto bagel and a nova lox on a rye bagel. Both sizeable and great. Still get a bit taken aback with the total price when I pay but it's fine. It's a treat for us. Still will keep coming back and I hope they stay for a while!

I needed to use the bathroom during my visit, and as soon as I entered, I noticed that the floor was covered with roaches, both dead and alive. I made sure to make my bathroom break as quick as possible. Other reviewers have expressed concern that certain reviews may have been fabricated (and have since been deleted, seeing that I cannot find them anywhere). This includes the use of fake accounts, AI-generated profile pictures, and likely fabricated favorable reviews. This goes beyond criticizing the quality of the food and atmosphere, but the integrity of the restaurant and its owners. Hopefully they can improve the quality of their food, maintain better hygiene, and charge more reasonable prices starting from here. Otherwise, it is unlikely that I will be returning to this place.
