With the sun out and heading over this way, recalled a gift card and headed in. As it was a holiday, we weren't sure if the store would be open but it was and we were greeted right away. One employee was helping us and very kind and patient as flavors were decided. Ordered 3 servings of ice cream and the employee was attentive for our to go order by asking about lids on the cup of ice cream and other details. Very clean space and many more tables that are sleek and white, narrower for more people to gather. Great service overall and no hassle to enjoy the afternoon treat!

This is supposed to be a half sheet cake and 10 inches. Smh

Will not go back! I ordered a birthday cake for my little boy from this place because its the only place I knew of that could make a rainbow sherbert ice cream cake (his request) When talking with the girl on the phone I told her it had to feed 10 to 12 people and was very addiment about the size being fairly large. She assured me that the HALF SHEET CAKE would serve its purpose. She never said that their half sheet cake size was half the size of what you would get anywhere else. The next day I went to pick up the cake, and it was SO TINY. I said this isnt a half sheet cake size, and some blond kid who was in there visiting friends with a BR shirt in started yelling "oh my God" and making a huge ordeal because I questioned the cake. I told the girl that I told her I needed a big cake and why didnt she tell me. I told her I couldnt take this little cake back to the party its embarrassing amd not worth $32. She said " the cake I made, I now have to throw away- just so you know. Im throwing it away" She got major attitude. I then felt horrible and pictured what my little boys face would look like with no cake at all- so I said Ill take it. Just to give to me. At this point everyone of the employees in the place were very rude to me and made me feel horrible for complaining that I teared up in my car. I called to talk to the mangager and was given the phone number to the owner. I called the owner as requested, and he was nice. But he told me that the cake is big enough and is 10 inches. No Way was this 10 inches. I measured so you can see in the pics. He told me to go back and pick up 2 qts of ice cream on him to help feed everyone. I wasnt gonna leave the party again. He should have given me my money back for the rude employees and that I was unhappy. They could have offered another premade cake to go with mine. But they rather throw what I had away. I wont go back. Dont need teenagers being so rude and condescending to me. Also, dont want to play guessing games on cake sizes. PS: the quality of the cake was bad. I was told there were 2 layers of cake and there was only one layer of cake. The sherbert had ice chunks in it :(

I came here on a Thursday around 4 o'clock and it was practically empty besides me, my friend, and the workers. When I first walked in it smelled really good like I was inside a waffle cone. They have a decent amount of chairs and tables for when it gets busy. I ordered a waffle cone with 2 scoops of ice cream with one of the scoops being mint chocolate chip and the other scoop being chocolate. I was surprised with the total because it was more expensive than I thought it would be. I could've bought a big pint of ice cream from the store with the price I paid but besides that the ice cream was fairly good. The mint chocolate chip tasted very minty and it had the right amount of chocolate chunks in it to balance the mint out. The chocolate was also good but there wasn't anything special about it. I would come back here but I would get something else besides the chocolate.

I especially recommend the Maple Spiced Latte and the Raspberry Cream Cheese Danish (absolutely divine). I also have to give a special shoutout to the cinnamon rolls I picked up today. They were absolutely huge! Soft, perfectly spiced, and topped with plenty of frosting; they are a 10/10. Just wanted to share a bad experience with this place. This morning I went to La Espiga Dorada…read moreBakery to pick up some canned beans and cream for breakfast. When I got home I started cooking the beans and noticed there was a foul smell. I proceeded to cook the beans and I was making the rest of our breakfast when I noticed they started smelling more. I honestly thought I was going crazy so I tasted them and OMG it was horrible. It tasted like sour milk. At this point I'm upset because I've spent $12.00 on literally 2 items ($6.50 for the canned beans and $5.50 for the cream). I'm not one to complain, I would've let this go but I'm out $6.50 for CANNED BEANS and my kids were looking forward to this. So I call the bakery and explain the situation, tell them exactly how it happened and I asked if I could have a refund or get a new can. They asked if they were expired and I said no (see pic) and the lady puts me on hold. She comes back and said her boss told her they can't do anything about it because I already cooked them and I should've taken them in as soon as I noticed something. I explain again that when I opened the can they looked fine, it wasn't until I started cooking them that I noticed the smell. She placed me on hold again, this time for almost 5 minutes and said that I can only get a partial refund and said I should've taken them, AGAIN. I told her I still have the can, the beans are still in the pot, I can take them like that if they want, at this point I just want my money back. Plus, what's the point of me taking them back after I opened them, were they just gonna put it back on the shelf?! Anyway, she puts me on hold again, comes back and tells me the same thing and said her boss told her that winco, Fred Meyer, and Walmart would've done the same thing (?!??!?!!!) I asked to speak with her boss she said she's not available and that I can't!! After a bunch of back and forth she finally agreed to give me a refund. I'm just so upset that I had to go through all this, get riled up, just to get my $6.50 for a can of rotten beans. This should've been handled better. We literally just spent over $30 on their bread this week for thanksgiving and this is how they treat their customers?! I won't be going back here after this experience.

Below are the goodies that I bought and gifted for being the top 20 customers in line. What I bought: 1. Bunny pudding: SO CUTE! I've seen this trend everywhere and am so glad that they have their own version. It was adorable. For $6.50 I was a bit skeptical because I thought it would be cheaper. However, it was too cute! It was good. Subtle in flavor but the texture was nice. It was thick pudding. I think it took me 2 days to nibble on it with my mom so we could enjoy it. The jam with it WAS AMAZING! I loved the slight tartness to it. The only thing was that the jam was red and it was behind the bunny so it looked...yes...you can be creative there haha. 2. Salted egg yolk cookie. Love salted egg anything and was surprise to see this as a cookie! Love the Asian flavors! It was lovely. It also had a little bit of a leaf on it and it created a little curry flavor taste. I don't know what it is but combined with the salted egg, delicious. It was my first time trying a more savory cookie. Gifted: They also gave me a salted egg yolk cookie which was great, I got 2 haha. 1. Chocolate macaron. I don't really like macarons because they're usually too sweet. However! This was good. Not too sweet and the chocolate flavor was present. It was a good size and it was super cute 2. Matcha macadamia nut cookie. I've had this one before, still good! 3. Brownie chocolate cookie. THIS WAS MASSIVE! Huge~! And yet, still chewy, fudgy, and full of chocolate. Yum! If you're a chocolate lover like me, you'll like this! I will drop by again in the near future!
