As we approached Bonsall/Fallbrook, we noticed a white service truck bearing the markings of Fredrick Access Systems and Fallbrook Overhead Doors had been tailgating us at about one car length. Before we could change lanes, the Fredrick truck swerved into a break in the number two lane before making an unsafe lane change directly in front of us. I had to take evasive action to avoid a collision by only a few feet. Here is our photograph of the truck identifying the exact Fredricks truck that endangered us. Shortly after the incident I placed a call to the telephone number shown on the truck and spoke with business owner Ann Fredrick. I described the reckless operation of her company's truck and asked that she take appropriate action to assure her employee's accountability. I specifically asked that she investigate the incident and follow up with me later in the day with the first name of the driver and a description of the corrective action she decided to take. Although initially polite, Ms. Fredrick quickly became evasive, said she would not disclose the driver's first name and never followed up with me. We believe that Fredrick's failure to responsibly address this instance of reckless conduct, conflicts with the public personae it presents to the community. We therefore decided to post this information as a community service with the hope that Fredrick re-evaluates its responsibility to the neighborhood it professes to honorably serve.

After a quick inspection, he determined we needed to replace the torsion spring. I asked for a quote, and after typing into his iPad for quite a while he showed me an invoice that simply said "Springs $704". When I scrolled down, I saw he also added $49 for the visit. When I asked him why I was being charged separately for the visit, he mumbled that's the standard visit cost, and then said "oh let me check my notes", then took off the $49. I asked why replacing the spring would cost $700 when my research indicated spring replacement should cost around $250-500. He insisted $700 was the typical industry cost. I immediately called two other companies, both of them quoted me $250-450 for spring replacement. At this point, my husband came home and again asked the technician why he's giving us a quote that's double what other places charge. The technician then try to throw out some jargon about how we require some special spring at a special size. We told him we will not be continuing with the replacement and paid $49 for the visit. As the technician was leaving, he kept going on about how he will send me the quote with details on the springs to show us how it's special. Yeah, I never received anything from him. We went with another company, who came out an hour later and replaced the springs for $450. Always do your own research on how much things should cost!

I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. Jay immediately started framing and when the glass pieces came in, he and his crew came out and finished the framing and installation. We bought a new house and remodeled the guest shower. We've used a different shower glass company multiple times in the past for our last house we remodeled and LOVE that company but figured this time around we could try Glass Guru for this newly remodeled shower because they are more local and our previous experience with them was great! Unfortunately, this experience was subpar, 2/5 stars (hence my 3/5 star rating, I split the difference between my two experiences with this company). Setting up the estimate appt was easy and they came out quickly. The estimate arrived promptly as well. We decided to pull the trigger and that's slightly where it went downhill. Due to the tile we used, I did ask the estimator Jay what option would be best. Floating shower doors or a set up that had metal trim around the whole thing that holds the glass in a more sturdy manner.. he said either would work. When the guys came to install, they didn't really seem to know what they were doing. The end result looked very sloppy, the clear silicone looked like it was pasted on by a 5 year old and a black trim piece placed along the bottom was crooked. When I mentioned this to Jay, he said he would happily replace the trim piece but would need to order it. When I told him this was our only real "complaint" he followed up with a statement "well, so I have a complaint now, the tile you used is really thin". Um, ok, what does that have to do with this situation?! I asked from the beginning what shower glass would be best and was told that any would be ok but now we're talking about how thin my tile is?! What a very odd statement to make to a customer AFTER install. This should be assessed prior to install AND I asked what glass set up would be best for our shower. Anyhow, 2-3 weeks went by after mentioning all of this and complete silence. I had to actually call to ask when this new trim piece would be installed and then they finally set up the appt. When a customer has an issue with something, they shouldn't be the one to have to call and follow up, right? The same kids came to install the new piece and they did a better job but as I sit here today writing this, no one has followed up with me to see how everything looks now. The customer service is non existent with this company. I will definitely be returning to Exquisite Shower Glass in Corona for my next shower remodel, not Glass Guru. They might be good at some glass related things but sliding shower glass doors don't seem to be it.

He came in the afternoon to repair it for us. I was very happy with the service from Almighty Garage Doors. It is a family operated business where they all work together to give the best service. They are very friendly and fair in their pricing. I needed a garage door opener repaired that was rather rare from Germany. They were very tenacious and resourceful in solving the problem. They also noticed I needed a new spring, which I didn't realize. They installed a new spring and what a difference it made!!! Unprofessional experience. Tech said it was his first time…read moreinstalling this type of motor- left me with zero confidence. Changed rates the day of -saying the motor price increased. Refused to deduct the initial $85 show up fee as they said they would. Was $200 less elsewhere AND a better motor and experience. To no fault of theirs when they came out in December my garage door was momentarily working so they greased it up and stated they still need to charge me $85 for the appointment. They stated they would reimburse that if I purchased the new motor through them. I reached out for them to purchase the motor. They responded quickly and said they would be here tomorrow. The next day when they came, they had no notes as they said they previously did and were not prepared to install. I did confirm the rate was the same as it was in December. The next day they show up, increase the rate and refuse to deduct the initial fee for showing up. As if that were not enough, they were very unprofessional. While on speakerphone I heard them complaining about another customer as well as giving the current technician a hard time about telling me how much the motor cost. It was very uncomfortable. After trying to calm the Owner down and repeating myself four times that I'm only asking them to do what they originally agreed upon he suggested that I go somewhere else. I agreed. He then repeated my name multiple times telling me to be careful because other people with charge more and swindling the rates with me saying it was a good deal. I said this is unprofessional and walked inside. They kept calling and stayed onsite a bit knocking on my door. They also stated I needed a more expensive Genie replacement. Turns out I did not. The LiftMaster is what another vendor is using and is overall a better motor and $200 less than what they were charging. Update: They did apologize afterwards and refunded the initial charge. Then called asking why I put this review up. Because it was my experience and wasted time. I had to hang up- then received another text- again very unprofessional.

He was very friendly from the start. He asked me for some additional information and to send some picture and videos which helped him out. He then gave me some available appointments, I picked one, and he gave me a 2 hour time window to arrive. He texted when he was on his way and it he arrived right in the middle of that window. Then right on queue, while demonstration the problem, the door problem got worse and then would not even go up. Thomas asked me several questions to help determine which was the best option, from several options that he presented. I found that to be very helpful and I appreciate that. He gave me some price estimates, told me how it would take, and he waved the $30 service call. He did a lot of work for me and finished before the time range that he quoted. He fixed the door motor issue, put in a new wall button, new keypad, new wheels, and lubricated and adjusted the door. He was also nice and helped me repair a broken ladder with some parts that he had on him. The whole experience was great, from soup to nuts. Thomas was funny, reliable, efficient, trustworthy, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend his company to anyone.
