I used the above location to store everything I owned while working as a teacher and living with a host-family. I would usually go back to check on the unit every few months. The last time I went back, my code wasn't working, so I checked in at the front office to see if they could help me. The woman at the counter looked a bit shocked and told me my unit had been auctioned off. I couldn't believe it at first, because I was on a recurring payment plan (and had been for 2 years by then) and the company had all my contact information. She said my credit card on file had expired and so they literally just auctioned it off without even picking up the phone or sending an auto-email to ask me to update it! She said they would always call or email or at the very least mail me, but I asked her to show me any proof (I had their information all listed & saved to make sure I was available if they ever called or emailed), and she wouldn't. The information screen was facing me and it showed they had auctioned my entire unit off for $300 or so bucks. The bed alone was worth $3,000. All my yearbooks, gma given china set, everything. The worst part was they didn't even show ANY empathy. They just said it was my fault because I hadn't responded to their communications, which again, they wouldn't show me any proof of having ever sent. How easy would an email be to prove? So easy. I looked into suing, but the state of AZ protects these kinds of businesses heavily and even if they are found guilty, will only be liable for $500. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It was honestly a little traumatizing. read more
