Amazing family owned winery. This was an exclusive tasting and the wine was very good.

Wonderful host and experience - the family is amazing and the grounds are gorgeous. Best wine we drank in three days of tasting. Made me join my first wine club and we look forward to returning!

If you are looking for an intimate and excellent wine tasting experience in Napa Valley, I highly recommend Allora Vineyards. Their gorgeous winery is almost hidden off the beaten path near St Helena and does require reservations. In exchange for a steep $40 tasting fee, you get access to some spectacular wine and excellent service. The tastings are done in the wine cellar with personal service for each group. We leisurely sampled their offerings and were blown away by the quality and overall value of the wine. Allora is varsity level Napa. This is not a scene place with tour buses full of bachelorette parties. You will get excellent wine in a relaxed and romantic setting to reward your great taste and advanced planning. Highly recommended for wine lovers.

    Good friends and wine lovers!

A wonderful tasting experience with gracious vintner and host Terry Klein! The wine was amazing! It was a privilege to sample 4 fabulous selections from this small vineyard in the intimate wine cellar on this 15 acre vineyard on the north end of Saint Helena!

    Entrance "whatever!" love this

I'd imagine that the tasting experience is pretty strongly shaped by the person serving you at the bar and the guy helping me was super friendly, down to earth, and yet still very knowledgeable and serious about the craft even busting out a 3D map is the thin to teach me about the various appellations in the region. Awesome experience, gorgeous spot, busy but didn't feel frantic, even on a sunny weekend.

It was very nice that they had a large selection of cheese and meats we could purchase to take home with us. They also had tons of accessories as well that were priced very well and seemed like nice quality. And the lady behind the cheese counter (I forgot her name) was super helpful and knowledgeable about what cheeses would go great with our wine, same for the ladies behind the meat counter! I only gave four stars because the girls at the register were not very friendly, and the lady that checked us in when we first got there was also not very friendly. Also, the restrooms were pretty gross and needed to be cleaned more frequently. Other than that this was a fun place to visit! We did walk in which was nice so if you need somewhere to do a last minute or unplanned tasting this is a great place!

There is a posting on the wall of the winery that explains the history of Charles Krug, the oldest winery in the valley. We decided to check it out and were unfortunately too late to do a tasting but they were happy to help us with ordering a charcuterie platter and glass of wine. We settled on a Cab which we very much enjoyed. The bartender was kind enough to give us a sample of two different wines before we committed. I also liked that they offer a complimentary tasting of champagne as you enter. The inside of the winery is pretty, but the outside is really gorgeous. We enjoyed the wonderful weather and sat in a shaded gazebo area. There are plenty of nice shaded areas and we saw other parties seated outside enjoying the weather. We sipped on the wine and munched on the tasty cheeses, crackers, and other yummies on the charcuterie platter and had a lovely evening here. We would definitely recommend checking this spot out if you are in the area!

The staff was very welcoming and there were a ton of different locations to drop in and taste; upstairs at their artistic bar space, outside by the vineyards, on the patio, in the grassy area, etc. This place looks like they can accommodate and welcome everyone (including your well behaved furry family member). We had a reservation for the inside bar space. Joego (Joseph Ogo) was so much fun to taste with. He had the energy and conversations skills that are unmatched, making all of us feel welcomed, joking, sarcastic, serious, etc. He knows how to read the room and cater to his clients/customers. He took the time to understand our palettes and poured what he thought best suited our likes, and he nailed it! Big fan of the WALT pinot noirs! Definitely plan on coming back again in the future.

We sat on bar stools which is not my fave, but I understand that the nice seats are likely for members. None of the wines were super memorable to me and the price point didn't match up with how highly I thought of the wines, but I still had a great experience and would be willing to visit another time. The best thing about Alpha Omega is that is that it's very family friendly. Not many wineries welcome children and this location was very accommodating. Our children were well behaved, I kept them occupied with lots of arts and craft activities, but my child still end up knocking over a glass of wine. Our server Jokayla was so gracious with us and helped us clean up. She was also very accommodating with everyone's taste preferences and offered customized recommendations for us. This is one of the wineries that did not require an upfront charge to enter which I appreciate so much. Not everyone in our party drank. Up to 2 adults can share a $75 flight of wine. If you purchase 2 or more bottles of wine, the tasting fee is waived. The pours are also plenty so this is a great deal. I just loved their flexibility. Valet parking was free! The winery is upscale, with beautiful views of the vineyard and the water fountain if you get terrace seating. We had reservations for 10:30am and had front row at the terrace.
