All provided us with excellent service and fruitful conversation. We were amazed with Maury who is from Guinea. We learned that he speaks his native language (French) and English. He said where he's from English & French are spoken. There are numerous people who can barely speak English. Bravo Maury and it's great to have you in the USA. Pleasant, well spoken, a gentleman and extremely strong. With his height he could be an NBA player. Then there is Hymie. Always a smile on his face despite doing heavy lifting and working diligently. He was the mechanic on hand and was there with his handy tools dismantling furniture, only to put them back together at our new apartment. While wife had taken the car to put gas in it, I told Hymie that the woman in 5he house would always change furniture arrangements around. When we arrived at the new place my wife began saying where she wanted everything to be placed. Hymie looked at me and smiled. He had been forewarned. The leader of this great team was none other than Anthony Wright, and his demeanor and joy was infectious. Always making certain his crew was working to our satisfaction. Then we started talking food, and there is truly not a more fun topic. We learned what he liked to eat as we told him we loved to cook. We've set a dinner date whenever our new nest is completed. Thank you Anthony, Maury & Hymie for treating our belongings with kit gloves and seeing us through the exhausting task of moving. A new neighbor shared the fact she was observing Maury & Hymie work and said they were the best team she's ever seen moving belongings, and being on the ground floor of the apartment complex, she's seen many movers. Congratulations to the team of The Wright Move. The title says it all. Mahalo, Moana & Sherman Brown

As our move entailed our belongings to be transported from Olympia, WA to Minneapolis, MN, I don't think the move would have been as smooth as it was had we used another moving company. Anthony and his team were on time with the right plan for a more efficient experience. Trust me when I say this, as we have experienced many moves in the last eight years, and suffice it for me to say, if you want it done right, choose The Wright Move for all your moving needs.

Unfortunately, Allied was an unbelievably horrible experience from the beginning to the end, and I would not wish this upon my worst enemy. They claim to be all one company, but it was clear that every stage was a different entity with no context or continuity. They are just as bad as a broker. As soon as they sold us on the quote, the sales people were non-existent, and we could not get a hold of anyone. Everyone's email response was that they were out of office, and the customer service phone line just redirected, until we ultimately gave up and hoped that they would show up on time. We paid so much money for them to pack and unload our stuff, and they were surprised both that they had to pack and unload (both sets of movers, in WA & IL). A small two bedroom apartment took them 12 hours to pack up, and we were late to get on the road for the move. They took breaks all of the time, never apologized, and never hurried. Customer service forgot that we had our stuff in storage, and were surprised when we called to tell them about the date to unload our things. When the movers showed up, even though we paid for the unload, they scammed us and never notated it in the contract, and we had to unload everything ourselves. I was in my third trimester of pregnancy and they still wouldn't budge. All of our TVs were broken. My desk chair had the head ripped off. Our things were not handled with any care. One of the movers clearly had no experience and scratched up our new walls, doors, and wooden floors. When we went to manage the damage, we submitted the claim within 24 hours, and it took them 3 months to send someone, and 6 months to receive a check from them. I cannot believe that this company is allowed to exist, and I am writing this review in hopes that you will see this before you book and avoid suffering through this poor treatment from Allied.

I'm not moving this time, but was widowed last year, and am now in the midst of a huge downsizing. I needed to have packed in Olympia, then shipped to my nephew and his spouse in Glendale California. EVERY contact I have had with Coleman/Allied has been wonderful, from the person who came to do a walkthrough to see what was going, and give a written estimate, to the scheduling staff, payment staff, packers and delivery persons. The normal procedure is to give the delivery people a cashiers check before they unload at the destination. Of course, in this instance, I was not going to be receiving delivery, so I chose to prepay by credit card, as an extra protection against any problems. Yes there is a small fee for paying by credit card The packers were at my house on time on Tuesday last week, having phoned about a half hour out as I had asked for. The two men would friendly, courteous, and respectful of both me and what they were packing, which included packing very expensive fine crystal, breakables that had belonged to my great grandmother, valuable artwork, an antique Edison wax cylinder player with a box containing over a dozen original was cylinders, a massive Minton china services, plus a number of other things. They completed all the work and left about noon. The next morning I received by both voice and email, that after weighing, I had been overcharged and would be receiving a refund for the overpayment. Saturday, both I and my nephew were notified that delivery would be made the next day, Easter Sunday. Sunday afternoon my nephew phoned to say that they had received everything in perfect condition, also by respectful, courageous movers. At no time was I out of contact with Coleman through this entire period. THE REFUND FOR OVERPAYMENT. That's already been credited back to my credit card. Please disregard previous negative reviews, as I truly believe they had nothing to do with Coleman, but with their former association with American, NOT ALLIED.
