Outstanding Home Security System - Total Peace of Mind…read more I've been incredibly impressed with this home security system from day one. Setup was straightforward, the equipment feels high-quality and durable, and the entire system just works exactly how you'd hope it would. The app is intuitive and easy to use, whether you're checking in while away or managing settings at home. What really stands out is the reliability. Alerts are fast and accurate, and the system provides a strong sense of safety without constant false alarms or glitches. Customer support has also been excellent--responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, which makes a huge difference when it comes to something as important as home security. Overall, this system delivers exactly what you want: peace of mind. It's dependable, user-friendly, and clearly designed with real people in mind. I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy, high-quality home security solution.

My poor review comes from a customer service stand point. Long story short, we purchased a home in which Zmana was already integrated into the system. All we had to do was call Zmana directly to set this up. I ended up working with Kevin Aboud and discovered that my husband was put as the main point of contact on the account. We scheduled our standard service not long out and I requested to see what upgraded options would be available. Kevin took my email address down and assured me he would have a technician email BOTH me and my husband a list of upgraded offerings. I let my husband know and we both awaited the email of what could be offered. Fast forward its right before the visit and the technician ends up TEXTING my husband a brief list and total cost to install an additional product for quite a high figure. My husband concerned for the fee asked to cancel the visit for now and we will reschedule as we would be unavailable for some time after that. Here is where things went sour... the tech ends up being confused about the cancelation and ends up CC'ing my husband on an email to Kevin. Kevin then replies back stating my husband "doesn't know what he wants" and I "want it all". Basically claiming we are not on the same page. Well its definitely hard for both of us to be on the same page when Kevin fails to follow through with his promise to have us both given a detailed list of what could be done. Would you not have some concern that you are all of a sudden receiving a shanty quote via text message from a random number? I took this issue to Zmana's customer service and worked with Carly. She was definitely helpful and profusely apologized for this unprofessional behavior. Shockingly, Kevin's title shows as a "Partner" with Zmana. Maybe some additional training wouldn't hurt a higher up? Word of advice, make sure you don't CC your clients/customers when talking smack about them. We ended up forgoing their services.

I just imported an Acty van from Japan and was looking for a solid alarm system. I stopped by…read moreSecurity & Sound Systems shortly after they opened, and Kent greeted me right as I parked. I told him what I needed, and we walked over to my van to take a look. I have a newer 3rd-gen Acty--maybe one of the first on the island--and Kent took his time inspecting the interior to understand how the locks and windows worked. He was incredibly thorough, checking every door and window carefully. I was a little concerned about drilling into the van or interior panels, but he explained how their alarm systems are installed and even brought out some parts to show me. That helped me decide where things could be mounted to keep everything as clean and minimal as possible. I also mentioned that when I first got the van, all the doors used to lock/unlock with the key, but they randomly stopped working. He said he could take a look at that too. Kent walked me through all the different alarm options and recommended the best one for my specific setup, especially considering the van is over 25 years old. I wanted something high-quality, and he got me set up with a 2-way alarm system and the mobile app add-on with GPS tracking. Someone had missed their appointment that morning, and he was able to get me in the same day! Not only did they install the alarm, but they also fixed my power door locks--now I can lock and unlock all my doors (including the trunk) with the remote. The install was super clean: no holes, no visible wires. 10 out of 10--highly recommend. Aside from his professional and knowledgeable work, Kent is just a genuinely nice guy and super easy to talk to. Thank you so much--I'm beyond happy with my alarm!

I have a vintage rod, as I've been roddin' since my dayz out of high school. Nothing fancy, and definitely nothing worth stealing, yet there is always one knucklehead out there that wants to mess with you, & your ride! What to do? Security & Sounds Systems my friends! Security & Sound Systems has been in business for a very long time, and I have used them numerous times to do work on my Camaros, Mustangs, and family vehicles. The products that they provide, as well as the work they do on security systems is impeccable! If you want to help deter a knucklehead from messing with your car, I would highly recommend you check out Security & Sound Systems to see what they have to offer here that would meet your security needs. Bottom line is anything can be stolen, but you still buy security systems like this to slow up knuckleheads that don't respect other peoples property! Lol!

No response, left multiple messages with customer service, spoke to a rep 2 days ago in the service dept, always the same answer, "C" is not in today, but when she comes in she'll call you back, and we'll also let another manager "J" know as well. Meaningless dribble...no calls after leaving multiple messages from anyone. Something tells me something is "going on" (management issues, financial issues, etc.) at that company, and not in a good way. When they don't respond to customers and in effect leave decision making to one person, who chooses to either not show up to work or is too "busy" to even return calls to customers, something is definitely wrong. Maybe they need to replace her or the entire management. Customers are not being serviced properly. Next step for me is to reach out to the State DCCA to file a complaint. If you feel you're not being treated fairly I suggest you do the same. Some action has to be taken to wake these people up or else it will remain the same. Me, I'm outta here with these guys, we had service for years but seems current management is sub-par and not taking care of customers. Watch for more reviews, if the negative trend continues, it's telling you something is really going on. Good Luck in the New Year!

It was the first time I spoke to an investigator that, gave me a very clear picture, of the steps they would take. It felt organized in my head. It made sense. So I wanted to hire them. I filled out the request for an investigation form. On a Friday. I got a response almost immediately. To sign the formal agreement, that they will be investigating for me. As well as an NDA, and payment. And everything had to be done by 12 pm Monday. Or they would not take the case. This was extremely overwhelming to me. And caught me off guard.. if we had moved forward with this, I would have been able to get everything done by the end of the week, I have other things to do in my life too. I called and office manager Vicki she would give me Tuesday noon. And also I had expressed that I do not want to upload any documents. I needed to do everything in person. One of the reasons I asking for an investigation, is someone has been accessing my personal information and has access to what I do on my phone. But I was still asked to upload my driver's license or state ID. So I sent a message asking if we can just cancel my request for an investigation. And I would redo it in a few weeks when I'm ready and I would actually come over to Honolulu and meet with them in person so I don't have to upload anything. I also brought up the name of someone who hires detectives to surveil me illegally. Another reason I needed an investigation. Just wanted to make sure that no one in there firm may have worked for him. I wanted to make sure there was no conflict of interest. It seems she found this offensive. And she went on a whole spiel, about there integrity and how they're investigators are all vetted. And that thay had all ready check for conflict of interest. This is impossible and a blaint lie. I sent them a request for investigation Friday evening, cancel Sunday. And Vicki claims in that shorts amount of time that had checked for conflict of interest, I had not even given them the name of the parson I wanted investigated . She said that she would go ahead and cancel my request. But that they don't want me to make a new investigation request. There are ready, full for 2026, and she doesn't think I'm a good fit because trust is important to them. I think if I'm about to give someone a large chunk of money I have a right to ask questions. And nobody should automatically trust anybody. Anyways I think they're a good firm if you can get past the office. I spoken to two of their detectives, and I think they have good heads on their shoulders. But they let me down. And that deadline was overwhelming, and I don't think that's okay. The deadline felt like a red flag.(Kind of like hurry up give us all this money for nothing, we're not going to give you anything, yet but you're going to give us all this money you're going to sign this NDA shut the hell up, you don't need time to think about it, that's what it felt like) Kind of why I wasn't very trusting. Not to mention the NDA was a little too much. I understand they have to protect the methods of investigation. But it actually went a little too far I don't think, that Vicky had good intentions towards me. And actually would have signed the NDA. What freaked me out was that, have to pay now!! or you don't get a case. Why the rush? You know like, buy it now or you're going to miss out!! your last chance like some crazy ad!! And even with and even with an NDA. You can still complain, if you get cheated. If you violate the NDA Thay could take you to court. But it doesn't mean to Thay would win,if the cheated you.
