My experience with Airamedics was limited to a phone call because they ultimately declined the…read morehome-warranty service assignment. My fiancé's AC stopped working during extreme Arizona heat, and OneGuard scheduled Airamedics for Monday. With a OneGuard representative still on the line, I called Airamedics only to ask whether they had experienced any cancellations or could possibly come sooner. Mark said nothing was available, so I calmly told OneGuard to leave the Monday appointment as scheduled. I did not curse, threaten, demand service, or berate anyone. Shortly afterward, I learned that Airamedics would no longer handle the service request because Mark claimed I had berated him. The call was recorded, and I have formally requested that OneGuard preserve and review the complete recording. Airamedics also blocked both phone numbers used to contact them, which made their response feel even more unprofessional and unnecessarily hostile. Given how quickly a simple scheduling question was turned into an accusation and followed by the company declining the assignment and blocking communication, it left me with the strong impression that they were looking for a reason not to accept this home-warranty job. I cannot comment on their technical work because they never came to the property, but this interaction caused unnecessary stress and delay during an already urgent situation. If a company does not want to accept home-warranty work, it should simply decline the assignment not mischaracterize a customer's conduct and then block further communication.

Bob Eddy and his team are amazing. He gives great service, shows up on time, fixes it quickly and…read moreat a reasonable price. He has jumped in and saved me more than once over the 10 years or so that I've used him. I love that he "only takes two days off a year: St. Paddy's Day and the opening day of Baseball" :-) Bob is an expert and knows his stuff. I originally found him because one of the fly-by-night AC companies recommended a whole host of expensive repairs. I called my home warranty company and they sent Bob. He looked at the thing the other company told me was failing and pointed out that it wasn't even a part that fit on my existing AC. He does annual maintenance BEFORE you need it, which is wonderful. He sends out a postcard to his longtime customers and schedules us when things are slow enough for him to make sure we won't have a failing AC when the weather goes all wacko and scorching hot. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this guy. Will use him as long as he's in business. I do want to respond to Debbie N. who had a tough time last month with him. Bob is right, the Warranty companies pay him pennies on the dollar. That's why you don't always get the best appliance replacements, etc. from your Warranty companies. I'm really sorry he couldn't help you, because he's really good and worth it. Because Bob is honest, he told you the truth. He didn't shine you on or drag it out or do a shoddy job just to make ends meet with the low pay the warranty company gives him. He's in business and supporting a family. He's a small shop that doesn't have a lot of leeway like the big national companies do. This weather system has kept every AC company in the valley slammed... So if he can't do it, he'll tell you the straight truth. I've chosen not to run my repairs on my AC through my warranty company if I can help it. I'd rather pay him what he's worth and know I won't have to have 3 or 4 followups. Make sense? Not sure what area you are in, Debbie, but if you're on NextDoor.com, maybe you can ask your neighbors for a recommendation. He didn't tell me to write this, I just know from working with him that he's gonna give you the straight answer, and as my pastor dad used to say, "God always answers prayer and sometimes the answer is 'No'."

In spite of the fact he had personal things to attend to, he was able to come out today (a Sunday), diagnose the issue, and even find the necessary parts and come back and fix the unit. He even saved us quite a bit by determining that the part was still under warranty for a few more months. We've been using AZTECH for several years now and could not be more impressed.
