We called on The Fireman Equipment Co. and they completed the four buildings. Our onsite office went through a remodeling and we were quoted 15 fire sprinkler heads, mandatory replacement for paint overspray, deficiency. We decided to ask a second opinion, from a licensed and reputable company in Phoenix. After they checked and double-checked, only 10 heads needed to be replaced, and we gave them the job to complete. We were utterly disgusted and called Fireman's office and reported the fraud. A few days later, we received a call from the Co. owner, blaming the technician that counted the over sprayed sprinkler heads... We will no longer use their services, and as a big man once said, Trust but Verify!

I gave Plumbing Express a call and they dug up the lawn to expose a leaking corroded galvanized pipe. Called several plumbing companies for quotes since it was going to be an expensive job to repair. Some companies were not equipped for the job since the piping went under the concrete front patio (need a concrete saw and jackhammer). Others gave me a lowball offer without asking many questions. Others wanted way too much. They finished the job in a day after getting the area blue-staked. They tried not to damage any plants. Replaced the concrete they removed. They took any trash generated with them including excess dirt. Very happy with the job. They were very knowledgeable about the latest techniques in plumbing.

I'm so happy that I hired Veteran Handyman Services. From the very first call, the experience and…read morecommunication was excellent. I called on a Tuesday morning, Alan answered right away. He listened carefully to what I needed done and gave me an accurate quote over the phone. Due to having a sense of urgency in getting the project done, Alan got me scheduled the very next morning at 8:30 AM. Alan and Josh installed 3 ceiling fans and 5 crystal chandelier light fixtures. They showed up right on time, friendly, professional, and fully prepared with the proper tools and gear. I did not ask and did not expect, but they wore booties to protect my floors. They were extremely polite, careful, respectful and yet personable. Their attention to detail was outstanding. They precisely lined up three chandeliers in my main entrance hallway with precision, perfect spacing, and alignment. Josh even wore white gloves while carefully hanging each crystal one by one, which showed the level of care they put into their work. The ceiling fans, dimmer switches, and ceiling medallions were installed beautifully and created the dramatic, elegant look I was hoping for. What really stood out was their professionalism, communication, and honesty. The price Alan quoted over the phone remained exactly the same when the job was completed. The only increase was due to additional work I requested. They explained everything clearly before and after the work, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Any last-minute adjustments I requested were handled immediately, with no hesitation and always with a smile. They truly went above and beyond the original scope of work to make sure everything was perfect, and that level of service made me trust them and feel confident using them again for future projects. Working as a two-man team, they were efficient, knowledgeable, and supportive of each other to make sure everything was done correctly and on time. They clearly take pride in their work and offer top-notch handyman services at a very reasonable price. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, prompt, and skilled handyman team, Alan and Josh are your guys! They can handle far more than just ceiling fans and chandeliers, and I will absolutely be hiring them again for future projects. Thank you again, Alan and Josh - You guys are the best!

All three were responsive to my requests and all the pricing was pretty much in the same range. Veteran (Alan) was in the middle regarding the price he quoted, but I had a feeling that would be the best for us. I was obviously right. He was responsive to my multiple changing SOWs and on the day of the install, he showed up right on time with his son as his helper. The first day, he needed his son to help since I had an 85" TV to hang and also some pretty heavy wall mounted laundry room cabinets. He hung two TVs and installed the mounting brackets for me, and also installed 4 wall cabinets and 4 floor cabinets, along with a sink unit with plumbing. His estimate of time was spot on, and he took exactly the time he thought he might need to do the job. He was fast, efficient, courteous, cleaned-up after the job, and even took away the mountain of cardboard and packing materials that all the cabinetry and other stuff came in. I am a stickler for good customer service and for good work that you pay for, so if I say this guy is good, you can take that to the bank!! Postscript: I cannot believe he was so few reviews. I would think that everyone he works with would give him a good review. Also, as of this writing, he has two Yelp reviews that are not recommended. Why?? Those two reviews are 5-star reviews too and seem accurate and appropriate for what they say.

Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't trust them with my dog- let alone my money. The workmanship has been incredibly frustrating to deal with. I have found countless issues with the work after the fact, and many aspects appear rushed, poorly executed, and focused more on cutting costs than delivering a quality renovation. The materials used seem to be chosen with price in mind rather than durability or long-term value, and the finished product reflects that. After investing my money, I truly expected professional-level craftsmanship and attention to detail. Instead, left dealing with problems that should never have existed in the first place. It is extremely disappointing to pay and feel like you received subpar work in return. I strongly encourage anyone considering hiring them to do thorough research, ask detailed questions about materials and quality standards, and carefully inspect the work before making payments.
