Donald did a good job at a reasonable price replacing an angle stop valve for the supply line for…read moremy toilet. It was a nightmare situation as a previous contractor broke it and left me abandoned and my main water supply wouldn't turn off so I could literally not sleep for 24 hours as I had to empty a bowl every 30 to 60 minutes (the supply valve is low so it would not accommodate anything larger underneath) or it would flood and ruin the new flooring that was just installed. It did ruin my face board that I had just had installed the day before. He kept blaming me saying by turning the giant nut I somehow ruined the pipe which I don't understand but I did everything to try and loosen the bolt and I found no special instructions or tool that specified one as a necessity to use on it in all my research or that I had done anything wrong, but it had been there for 30 years and was fused on tight and wouldn't budge even with two vise grips, and with the flooding happening I was desperate to get it removed so I thought that continuous commentary was strange. He also said I had to loosen that nut clockwise as if it were reversely threaded but was told the opposite multiple times in my research so again I'm very confused. If something had been critically missed I wish he would've at least told me. I didn't see how he removed it. He walked off with my channel locks which I informed him of immediately but luckily he changed his mind and returned them before I had to leave the next day after he first said he couldn't. I had been thru two days of hell from the previous contractor with 8 hours sleep over three nights. But he did the job and it took him no more than 15 to 20 minutes. There's a really big gash in my wall now where the valve is but I guess he had to do that to cut the pipe. I will have to find a wall cover plate or something to hide it.

We purchased our HVAC unit for Goettl so I immediately called them. They gave me a 2 hour time frame the technician would be here. Then they called back & let me know they could be here several hours earlier. Heck yeah come as early. The technician was friendly, polite & professional. He found the problem. Vibration had cause a hole & all the refrigerant had leaked out. Refrigerant is expensive & the quote was a few thousand dollars since it wasn't covered under warranty with the install.. We have a home warranty so we wanted to check with them. The manager at Goettl called & wanted to make sure we had a plan to get it fixed & a way to stay cool. He cut us a part on the refrigerant & made arrangements for another company to bring us 2 portable units at no cost to us. Since it was a holiday, they weren't able to get the part they needed to fix the unit until the next day. The portable units were very much appreciated. They came & fixed the unit the next day. We had A/C again. Goettl is the only HVAC company we will ever use.

Recently, one of the pipes connected to our water softener in the garage suddenly burst late at night, around 11:00 PM. A large amount of water sprayed everywhere and flooded the garage floor. We contacted two other plumbing companies we found online, but unfortunately, neither of them responded. Thankfully, we found American Plumbing & Rooter. When we called, Rich answered the phone right away and was incredibly helpful. He quickly scheduled an appointment for us, and a plumber arrived at 8:30 the next morning to replace the damaged water softener. We were very impressed with how efficient, friendly, and professional they were. The plumber was patient and took the time to explain why the pipe had burst and gave us very helpful recommendations to prevent similar problems in the future. Their follow-up service was also outstanding. A few days later, Sunday night, we were surprised to discover that we had no hot water. We texted Rich to ask what might have happened, and he responded very quickly. He explained that when the water softener pipe burst, the large amount of water spraying out may have extinguished the pilot light on the nearby water heater. He then patiently walked us through the steps to check it. Sure enough, the pilot light was out, exactly as he had explained. Many attempts were made by different employees to learn why the system wouldn't cool down when programmed. The thermostat and HVAC employees thought it was the high Phoenix temps and the fact that I had a manufactured home. I was very persistent, calling often, attempting to find a "realistic" solution. Finally, the system got replaced with a much better brand. Hallelujah! It's fixed. Sometimes starting over is the best answer. Wolfgang worked right along with me all the way. There was no giving up. He came out twice to prop up the rest of the fence that had fallen without actually stabilizing what he did originally did incorrectly, and now my fence has been down longer than it has been up with him, and he refused to come back again, even though his work did not get any better with age, and I'm actually getting letters from the City Of Tempe regarding my fence after he fixed it I have reached out to him via text and email and he is not replying. As you can see by the amount of wood sticking over the fence, he didn't bury the postsproperly, and that little piece of Blond wood was his idea of holding up the fence together when that part fell, and he propped it up again so the whole thing has gotten worse my fence was nice looking when he put it up it is now falling down three times and smashed up quite a bit.
