Well, they charged me $390 to come out and install a new one..yes, $390. The smoke detector was $79 on Amazon, so the call with alarm was $311 profit. Another alarm went off. I went to Home Depot, bought the same one ($45 on sale), and installed it myself. A ladder, screwdriver, and twisting 3 wires twisted together.....$45, I would say if you have a fire alarm chirping, buy it yourself and if you can't do it (elderly), call in a handyman ($45) I don't know if their price is because I live in North Scottsdale or if that is their normal price....but it is excessive

After having a handyman replace a old smoke detector 60 days ago the new detector started chirping…read moreagain. Frustrated that the issue was not fixed i decided to have a professional do it this time. I spent the next 36 hours trying to get someone to come out to repair / replace it, I luckily found this place. Wow, how different to call a place where the person answering know what they were talking about. Most places just have someone to schedule an appointment with someone who hopefully knows what they are doing. Ivan, the technician that came out a few hours later was great. Completely checked all my detectors and came up with a solution that worked. I am safe and happy no more "chirping".
