Scheduling online was incredibly easy, and they require a $39 deposit up front, with the remainder paid after the testing. The location is convenient, with a connected parking garage that had plenty of open spaces both times we visited. We didn't have to wait at all. There was zero wait time on both occasions, and the facility itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. Both my son and I had DEXA scans, and he also had his RMR measured. The tests were quick and efficient, and afterward, they printed out the results and went over them with us in detail. They were more than happy to answer our questions, and if they weren't 100% sure of something, they took the time to find the answer rather than give a vague response. We also received digital copies of our results by email, which is great for keeping track of progress. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The pricing is in line with other places in Houston, and actually better than some. If you're looking for a DEXA scan or RMR test in Houston, I highly recommend Composition ID on Kirby. Great service, but customer service needs to be improved…read more.. I had a body scan about two weeks ago. I loved it so much that I showed my body scan to everyone at work. I was raving about the services so much that many of my co-workers thought I worked for the company or was getting referral fees! I e-mailed the company to see about scheduling body scans for several of my co-workers. No response. I re-sent the e-mail the next day, but still no response. I thought maybe their e-mail service wasn't working, so I contacted them via FB Messenger a week later. I finally got a response which stated that they've answered all of my e-mails. I screenshotted the two unanswered e-mails to them. They said it was an oversight but was completely unapologetic. As much as I loved the body scan, customer service is very important to me. I can't support a company that can't even bring themselves to say something like "Sorry for the oversight" or "Sorry we overlooked your e-mail".

At the end of the call, I was told that I was required to pay $97.00 as an out-of-pocket cost. I calmly advised the representative that I have already met my insurance out-of-pocket maximum. Instead of reviewing my information, the representative became argumentative and insisted that I still owed the payment. To avoid further conflict, I asked to be placed on a payment plan. The representative initially stated that a payment plan could be arranged. When I explained that I am currently not working, her tone became rude and dismissive. She then stated that I "had to pay the $97.00" and abruptly hung up on me. This behavior was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I should not be spoken to in that manner, nor should a call be terminated abruptly, especially when discussing insurance and billing concerns. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed, that my insurance information be properly verified, and that I be contacted by a supervisor or billing representative who can address this matter professionally. Kelsey Seybold, including Dr. Doneker, Dr. Karpinos and others, took excellent care of my father. He was not an easy patient and is elderly. The quality of the medical advice and general care shown by the doctors was very high quality and empathetic. The empathey generally extended to the non MD staff, both medical and non-medical 2. Medical Records and Hippa - 1*. It is nearly impossible to get medical records. They have an on-line "MyChart" type of app but you can't order your medical records through it or from the MDs you talk to there, can't even find much of the medical record there. They send you a 1 page template that you have to fill out and fax to the "Medical Records" department. Medical records can get you "written" documents (e.g, lab results). When you then ask Medical Records to get CT scans etc. They can't help you and refer you to organizations like "Radiology." When you talk to these orgs (e.g., Radiology) they refer you to "Medical Records." It's like a broken loop that is designed to prevent you from getting your non-written medical records. Basically you are NOT ALLOWED access to your xrays, scans etc the way Kelsey Seybold has set up its system. I suggest some healthcare lawyers or consultants take a look at what they hav set up. I'm no expert but it sure seems like Kelsey is non-compliant with HIPPA. Because of my inability to get my father's brain scans we will not be able to see the progress of a particular disease we believe he has.
