The fact that insurance was provided prior to appointments, and it took 2 months to say that absolutely nothing was covered, is a scam, and Kelsey is working with the insurance companies to scam innocent women and children. Just trying to get the SIMPLE care they need. I'm so beyond disgusted I trusted my son's care and my care with Kelsey. It is a scam, it is a con, a 3-year-old now not going to get the services he needs, and a single mom in school is now out $3500 when I could have just never bought insurance and gone to a clinic for $300 for the physical. Absolutely disgusted with Kelsey and the insurance system they support. This has resulted in me discontinuing trying to get my son the speech therapy he desperately needs, and shows that Kelsey is all about hurting and harming children, rather than providing actual health care. The young man who did my MRI was so nice. I was very nervous as I have a bit of claustrophobia, he talked me through the procedure and made me feel safe and comfortable. We paid a fraction of the typical cost for an MRI (with interpretation included) AND got a call from the interpreting radiologist the day after the exam (on a weekend, no less) to review the findings. Seriously, the cost for the WHOLE exam was less than a typical post-insurance copay charge. I'll be honest, when I see photos of them, I don't think they end up looking much like the actual baby does. But while all of our family was together, we opted to try it out. Unfortunately, our little guy decided to showcase how stubborn he's going to be, by not moving his hands from his face the entire time. Our tech tried every trick in the book multiple times, but she couldn't quite get him to budge. It's funny because now that he's born, he puts his hands in front of his face all the time. At checkout, they gave us 50% off the bill because they felt bad that we really never got a clear shot at his face. They didn't have to do that, but it was a super nice gesture. And our tech was awesome throughout the process - I wish I could remember her name, but she was great, even in tough circumstances with a room full of people who aren't getting what they came for. I'd recommend anyone in Houston to try these nice folks out if you're looking to have this done. But I'd caution to say that I wouldn't have super high expectations that you are going to know what your baby looks like based on this ultrasound.

When he began seeing Michael, he was on insulin and 70 pounds overweight. After a year [maybe less, actually], he was at 6% body fat, exercising regularly and so much happier. And hot. Very, very hot. Bonus. As to my experience, he was able to help me and our 14 year old daughter learn how to read food product labels, understand what they are really indicating about the 'food' in the container and how that affects the body. Thinking in terms of physiology and body chemistry and how it works or hurts. He was able to offer better meal suggestions even for our super-choosey eater who believed she could live on chicken nuggets, chocolate and mac n cheese alone. And she actually liked some of them. SHOCKER. While pregnant the last time around, which was ironically not very long ago, I had some worries about avoiding gestational diabetes and keeping my blood pressure where it needed to be. I went to see him and asked about some specific issues and he was able to point to what I was eating and offer suggestions to get the changes I wanted to see. Following the meal plan and suggestions he made, I didn't develop either of those issues, nor any others and ended up giving his contact info to my midwives. I have referred friends struggling with all sorts of body, food and beverage issues. Every one of them has had a positive experience. So my point in writing this review is to express the sheer diversity of counsel that Michael can offer.
