I'm going to preface this by saying that this review is mostly for the doctor I see, Dr. Lance…read morePickard. I can't really speak about the other doctors since I like to stick with my normal pcp. I initially went here as a last minute option after my sister had referred me to 1960 Family Practice saying that they were really convenient for her, which she wasn't wrong about. First off, we all know that no one LIKES to go to the dr but hey, we gotta take care of ourselves. Parking isn't too shabby, they have plenty of spaces but can be full sometimes. This place is not too fancy, but it's clean and they have ample seating with chairs that are not too squished together so you have some sort of space between you and the other people waiting. One of the main reasons I like coming here is the ease of scheduling appointments. When I get sick, I try to call first thing that morning to set an appointment and they always try to get me into the earliest one. The receptionists are never rude and are helpful to update any information such as insurance changes over the phone to save you time when you're in there. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful, I haven't encountered any debby downers while I've been coming here, so that's cool. Wait times aren't bad either. Most of the time, I haven't been sitting down for more than 10 minutes before my name is called. Now to the doctor. Dr. Lance Pickard is great. He's always very nice and in a good mood and I never wait long in the exam room. What I like is that he takes time with me and doesn't rush my office visit and is happy to answer any and all questions that I have as well. After your visit, checking out is a breeze and they always get me in and out. The only negatives I have is that their pharmacy can be a hot mess sometimes. I have waited a long time to have a prescription filled and once they couldn't find my prescription so I suggest just going to your ordinary pharmacist to have your meds filled. Overall, this place does the job. They make your doctor visit easy and makes your sick days less of a headache.

l Complaint Regarding Incorrect Procedure Authorization, Billing Issues, and Lack of Management…read moreEscalation To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my experience with Minivasive Pain & Orthopedics and the handling of my upcoming injection procedure. During my initial consultation, the physician informed me that I would require a steroid injection and that a future appointment would be scheduled for the procedure. After meeting with the physician, I spoke with a staff member to complete the scheduling process. During that conversation, I was specifically asked whether I wanted anesthesia during the injection. I clearly stated that I did not want anesthesia because I have received similar injections in the past without anesthesia and did not feel it was necessary. Later, I was contacted and informed that my procedure had been scheduled with anesthesia, resulting in a significantly higher patient responsibility amount. I was told my out-of-pocket cost would be approximately $800 or more because anesthesia had been added to the procedure. I immediately contacted your office to explain that I had specifically declined anesthesia during my visit. Rather than correcting the issue, I was repeatedly redirected between departments. I was told to contact financial services. Financial services then advised me to contact the referring physician. When I contacted the referring physician's office, they confirmed that they had not ordered anesthesia and that no anesthesia request was included in the referral documentation sent to Minivasive. As a result, I have spent considerable time attempting to determine who added anesthesia to my procedure and why. No one has been able to provide a clear answer. More concerning is the fact that I have repeatedly requested to speak with a manager regarding this issue and have been unable to reach one despite multiple attempts. My concerns are as follows: 1. An anesthesia service appears to have been added despite my explicit refusal. 2. No one has been able to identify who authorized this change. 3. I have been redirected between departments without receiving a resolution. 4. I have been unable to speak with management despite multiple requests. 5. The lack of communication and accountability has delayed my care and created unnecessary stress and financial concerns. I am requesting: * An immediate investigation into how anesthesia was added to my procedure. * Written confirmation regarding who authorized the anesthesia order. * Correction of any inaccurate documentation. * Review of the billing estimate associated with this procedure. * A direct response from a Practice Manager or senior administrator regarding this complaint. I expect a written response within a reasonable timeframe. In addition, I have been experiencing significant pain for approximately 24 hours a day and am seeking this injection to obtain relief and improve my quality of life. Instead of receiving timely treatment, I have been forced to spend my time making repeated phone calls between different departments attempting to correct an issue that should never have occurred. The ongoing confusion, lack of accountability, and inability to obtain clear answers have caused unnecessary delays in my care and prolonged my suffering. It is extremely frustrating to feel as though I am being passed around and forced to participate in a bureaucratic process while I continue to live with ongoing pain. My focus should be on receiving the medical treatment I need, not trying to determine where an unauthorized anesthesia order originated. Sincerely, Djibril Sagna
