This is our second visit, and once again, it was a great experience. My daughter pulled a muscle in her hip last week. The pain has been persistent, so we wanted to get some X-rays. I initially took her to another urgent care but was turned away because they were at capacity. I should've just come here in the first place. The staff was awesome and very attentive. The facility is very nice and super-clean. We were in and out in a couple of hours; at the other place we may have not even been seen yet. I highly recommend this place!

Fast and not crowded. Very efficient. I don't wish on emergencies, but if I have another I won't think twice to return.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PANDEMIC…read more If I could give -5 stars I would. I was sent by my primary care physician after hours and the doc on call did not want to do the procedure she called ahead for me on. He gave every excuse as to why I shouldn't- seems like if someone is sent by their doctor- you do the procedure. They went for a dang reason. It's been a week and I am still sick. Covid seems to have brought the worst out of people and this guy is definitely 1. New management doesn't seem to have made a difference. He was smiling when I left. He was either lazy or evil. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Worst doc I have ever had the unfortunate displeasure to experience. And that is saying A LOT.

After completing the initial paperwork, Bill took us back to an exam room. We discussed my issue and the proceeded to have my blood pressure and temperature taken. Bill walked me through the process with expertise and kindness. It was determined I needed a cat scan so Cathy took over and walked me through the process with ease and whimsy. We were there for awhile because I needed several tests to try to figure out what was causing my pain but that's to be expected and was not an issue. Meghan checked me out without pressure or a judging look like I have previously experienced at other places. I actually felt good about paying! This was probably the most enjoyable ER visit, despite my pain issue, I have ever had. Thank you Cathy, Bill and Meghan! Y'all are awesome!

He told me to give her Motrin and go see my Pcp? Seriously? Don't go here please. The nurses looked like they were bothered also but one of them that took the X-ray was pretty sweet. Oh and I had to beg for them to help her with pain while I was there " Motrin" and I'm still sitting here waiting..... nothing.

We got to the location, and I was concerned about the costs, because I work in a related field and I know how they try to squeeze the maximum dollar out of patients and insurance companies. I was surprised when I was told they could not talk about any prices or give me any insight of what it may cost. The reason they gave for this was EMTALA. Not knowing what EMTALA was, I questioned the lady at the front desk about what she was referring to, and she said in a nutshell that her mouth was sealed and that we couldn't leave if we couldn't or wouldn't pay. I was dumbfounded. If this didn't sound like a scam already, I asked about our insurance and was informed that we would be responsible for 20% of the cost, whatever that may be when the Wizard of Oz wills it into existence. OK I said, and we went through the visit and jumped through the hoops, when all I really wanted was the doctor to write a prescription for what we already knew was going on. When all was said and done, we came out to the front desk and was presented our bill for roughly $800 dollars, to which we only had to pay about $150 or so due to our insurance. OK, not too bad, way overpriced, but it didn't break the bank. Sit down and take a breath, here comes the good part. Fast forward, one month in advance. I receive 2 bills, no, not 1... 2. One is from the actual hospital for $1,400. The other is from MCEP (Medical Center Emergency Physicians) for $350. I guess over the past month, St. Luke has been diligently working at the milking process. Bravo. Somehow, things twisted from when I signed the $800 bill and told my insurance would pay, to when I received a $1,750 bill when they didn't. I will contact my lawyer today and look into this EMTALA. I hope $1,750 was worth the price of a lawsuit.

Alright so I walk into this Medical facility with My health insurance card and Texas Drivers license in hand. I have an ear infection, again and My primary care physician is unavailable. As the slogan for this Woodlands Hospital says, no wait, I walk into the empty lobby expecting, no wait time. As I speak to the receptionist or whoever greeted Me with a "Oh, can I...help you?" She says there is going to be at least an hour wait. I said, "Ok, I do have insurance." The disgruntled receptionist replies with a sigh and says, "You know we are not actually an Emergency Room, we are a hospital." I said, "Ok and y'all take My insurance, right." I sit down at the nearest couch, this ear pain has My balance all off, I sit there for an hour before being spoken to, just spoken about. A blonde hair nurse practitioner in wrinkled scrubs exclaims, "Eww, what is she here for?" Absurd. #Texasmedicalboardcomplaint After a couple of hours of this shit show and it dawn's on me to ask the medical technician to have My prescriptions sent to My local pharmacy. This medical technician told Me they don't do that here. Some people are really not trying to be a good nurse, or good doctor, they just want that title of being on the front lines. LAME.

My husband initially went in on Monday at 9:30 AM experiencing intense pain early in the morning. There were no lines when I arrived, the office was clean, and the staff were polite and professional. During the visit, they drew labs and gave me a referral to have an ultrasound done (which I was able to get done that day at 1pm). I was told that they would call me with the results once everything was reviewed. Wednesday, the clinic contacted us with the lab results, but they had no update regarding the imaging. I then called the imaging center myself and was informed that the ultrasound images had already been sent to the clinic Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, I went to the imaging center in person to pick up a copy of the results and the CD containing the images. I called the same day (Th) and was told the NP should have the results reviewed by Friday. When I followed up today(Friday), I was told that it may not be reviewed until Monday. While I'm grateful my husband's pain has mostly subsided and is feeling almost back to normal, the delay in reviewing the imaging results feels unnecessary and frustrating. Especially considering the imaging center had already sent the results several days ago. Overall, my initial visit was positive in terms of the cleanliness of the office and the friendliness of the staff and cost of the visit. After calling they are more annoyed and don't seem to care that patients are left with no answers. The delay in communicating diagnostic results and providing follow-up information has been disappointing and has left me waiting longer than expected for answers. This is my second time going here for labs and imaging (first time with my son) and I didn't experience this type of delay so hopefully this isn't what usually happens.
