My husband and I LOVE this ER. The reason why I'm giving…read morefour stars instead of five is because of the one doctor there who misdiagnosed me 2 weeks ago with a stomach infection and gave me really strong medications that sent me to another ER in an ambulance a few days after. I just had a 24hr stomach virus and was dehydrated... He's an older white man. I can't remember his name. He misdiagnosed my mother as well, last year, with an upper respiratory infection and almost sent her home. He left in the middle of her visit due to the shift changes. The same day, a different doctor, in the same ER, diagnosed her with PNEUMONIA!!! Severely and ended up with scaring on her lungs! He doesn't care or listen at all to his patients! All the other doctors and nurses there have been amazing and have really helped us out. Made us feel comfortable each time! Especially nurse Adrian! She's awesome!

He couldn't even introduce himself to start off with, came in rushing like he had more important things to do (like if we weren't paying him for our service). He stood by the door and we barely understood two or three words he mumbled out his mouth when he was "explaining" to my husband what his diagnose came out to and as soon as he was done talking he just stepped out without even giving us a second to ask any questions, LIKE WHAT IN THE HECK, SO UNPROFESSIONAL! Please spend your money somewhere else.

We appeared to be the only patients at the time so service was quick. When I initially pulled in the parking lot I thought they were closed. It's pretty dark from the outside looking in. So glad they weren't, to avoid any delay in care.. Nonetheless, staff at the front desk immediately greeted us and inquired about what brought us in. I appreciate the registration form being very short! The wait was brief. Our first nurse came out to welcome us back to the care area. He listened, educated and provided good care. The doctor was professional, attentive and made my daughter feel safe during exam. Unfortunately, the second nurse that came rushing in didn't even introduce herself. Her back was turned to us as she gathered supplies, so while she did that I asked how she was doing? I looked at her badge when she turned around and made conversation before she was to provide any care for my child. The nurse's bedside manner then got a little better. Not much. I appreciate her informing us of the wait time with the plan of care though. Overall, I received good care during the visit.

Had a great experience in my three visits to Neighbors. My 5 year old suffered an acute and…read moreaggressive case of hives and we went up there at 11pm to be greeted and received well by the receptionist who helped us promptly be seen. The nurses were quick to take vitals, assess the situation by observing my son and asking both us parents pertinent questions. Long story short, they had a prescription dose of an oral steroid and Benadryl ready for my son to take before leaving. Now here's where the exceptional part of my experience came in - my son did not sleep much that night due to itching and restlessness. His mother was up with him until 4am until he finally calmed down. I was up at 7 to hit the pharmacy and get his prescription. Wife called and said he's back up and not better, so I picked him up and we visited Neighbors again. Similar to the first time, very quickly seen, they even had our paperwork pulled up to save on redundancy. They reassessed, asked me questions as to what happened after we left up to that moment and came up with an idea to do the injectable steroid, which I agreed. My son handled it like a champ thanks to the nurse administering it. I picked up the prescription, Benadryl, zertec for hives and Pepcid AC (which also has antihistamine properties) at the direction of the Neighbors doctor and nurse staff. Got him all hooked up with meds, did a cool oatmeal bath, coconut oil after - and still my little man was not getting relief. After a couple hours of trying everything us parents could do, we took him back up there just to do a final check before hitting the ER - they were so kind. Despite doing everything by the book (I checked myself) we were all confounded and decided to go to the ER. But not before giving us liquid numbing cream - which hugely helped with the itching. Ultimately we went to the ER and we're just told sometimes these things just need to run their course, they gave us some anti-itching prescription that would make him drowsy but other than that, they said Neighbors did a good job, to which I agree.

I have been a patient at this clinic for years and have stayed primarily because I trust and…read morerespect the doctor. Unfortunately, the customer service and communication from the office staff have consistently been poor. My recent experience was unacceptable. After suffering an allergic reaction that caused severe swelling around my eyes and painful facial irritation, it took over a weeks to receive the prescription I needed. During that time, I repeatedly contacted the office and was told the prescription had been sent to my pharmacy. Each time I went to Walmart, they confirmed they had not received anything. I asked several times if the office could call the pharmacy directly, confirm receipt, or provide a written prescription so I could resolve the issue myself. Instead, I was repeatedly placed on hold for long periods, treated as if I was inconveniencing the staff, and told what I believe were simply dismissive responses to get me off the phone. I also left multiple voicemails for the office manager requesting assistance and never received a return call. What makes this even more frustrating is that once I finally received part of the medication, it relieved my pain almost immediately. This means I endured over a week of unnecessary discomfort simply because basic follow-through and communication did not occur by the staff. The doctor may be excellent, but the lack of accountability and responsiveness from the office staff creates a very difficult experience for patients who are already dealing with medical issues. My experience suggests the office would benefit from stronger communication from a new office manager and taught how to follow-through with patients.

I've worked in customer service and Healthcare before and I know things take time BUT YOU CAN AT LEAST CALL THE PATIENT AND TELL THEM YOU ARE WORKING ON IT AND THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE. I was literally in tears when I had to tell my dad I couldn't get him an appointment with a neurologist for his stroke because I couldn't get the referral. Now we have to get a new PCP and start this all over again...
