Absolutely the worst place! Do not go here! "Dr" Philip Haynes has the worst bedside manner and didn't care anything at all about my daughter's symptoms. Said she was fine and to take ibuprofen and go home. She had to ask him to do a strep test on her and he did it even though he didn't want to. Then hands her a piece of paper that says if you have these symptoms, come back...those symptoms is why she was there in the first place! He should not be in the medical field! Awful!!! read more

Watch out for Intentional Billing "Errors"! The 1 star rating is being given because when you check out and pay, they offer a Starbucks gift card for giving them a good review. Well, I had to balance out my good review with the bad review based on the intentional erroneous bill received. At the ER visit I was charged $430. I asked multiple times to have the total price, and the desk clerk kept assuring me that $430 was the total. Then 31 days after the visit a new bill was generate (as the billing agent at the corporate number stated "in error") for $2,995.45. This person assured me that it was in error and the $430 was the maximum charge. The ethics in this company is not worth chancing. A lot of medical facilities do this to customers; that is, send out an additional bill just to see who calls in and who pays. Federal No Suprise Act of 2022 says they can surprise you with a bill but the Act says nothing about sending a bill in "error" just to see who will pay. read more

Took my mother in to asses injuries after a car accident. (Mother did not want to go to a hospital ER) Was greeted immediately by the friendly front desk reception. Completed necessary paper work and called right back. Nursing staff were all great, friendly, and caring. Dr. Haynes was very kind, thorough and did not keep us waiting. CT, X-rays and labs done in a very timely form, and we were released with all of the copies of everything done to take to her follow-up with primary PCP. STAFF who assisted us were: Victoria, Amber, Ronda, Steph and Dr. Haynes. Highly recommend, and will use them in the future if the need arises. read more

This place is a total rip off, I went to them in December with a laceration on my left palm from a broken glass. A shard of glass pierced my palm and would not stop bleeding no matter how much pressure applied to the wound. Fast forward 2 months later, I get a bill and pay the balance. Another two months later I get another bill showing a balance of less money owed, I set it aside thinking that my previous payment had not been properly applied. Two weeks ago I get yet another bill showing that my insurance has been charged for nearly 3x the original amount and they are demanding yet even more money from me. I used to like this little ER, but since they got bought out by a money hungry corporation their charges are ridiculously high. I can go to a regular ER and pay a one-time Co-Pay but this place keeps running charges through your insurance and demanding more and more money. Wow, since when did an x-ray and laceration kit become nearly $4,000?? We are talking a single stitch, I was in and out of this place in less than 30 minutes and they are charging my insurance over $3800 and wanting me to pay over $650. It amazes me that every time I get a statement, the charges to my insurance and my out of pocket costs keep going up and up!! Total rip-off, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, otherwise they may force you to sign-over your first born or take a second mortgage on your home for the most basic of care. If there had been any urgent care facilities open after 9PM, I never would have shadowed their door...and NEVER will again! read more

about a month ago(i been meaning to write this) my nurse came in to do an IV and i said "im nervous about the needle" and she said "it will be fine" and i thought nothing of it until she said "leave your arm just like this (in a uncomfortable sideways position) you have a good vain here and it will hurt if you put your arm down" after she started the IV i got extremely light headed and started hearing muffly. i said "i think im gonna pass out" and she brushed it off while grabbing all her stuff, as she was walking out i said "i really think im gonna pass out" and my vision went really bright, she walked out of the room looked me in the eyes and said "thats what happens when we freak out over needles" and shut the door behind her. some redhead curly haired lady. i also want to preface that i spoke 1 comment about the needle and did NOT give her a hard time while she was doing her work. she seemed either busy or simply did not care. my car was 1 of the 2 cars in the parking lot so im gonna assume the latter. i was also left with an empty iv bag for 20 minutes and had to get up to reach the call button because it was not hanging on the bed and no one had came since she left me. will probably never go here again because of how uncomfortable and upset i felt. nurses who do not care about their patience and do it just for the money should be weeded out of the medical field. i dont think that she should lose her job for this, but someone higher up should genuinely talk to her and see if other patients have had this problem, or if she was just having a rough day. please look into this, because now i have anxieties about going to get medical help while alone. read more

Do not come here if you are having an emergency and care about your life. I came here after having a baby 2 days post partum with high blood pressure and signs of preeclampsia which can become life threatening very quickly. The doctor could not care less and talked to me like I was stupid. He asked me why I came there and didn't go to the hospital I gave birth in (this was the closest emergency center to me and I was scared I was going to have a seizure) I asked if I should just leave then and he said no since I was there theyd just wait and maybe treat my blood pressure and transfer me. I then heard him try to order me atavan for some reason (an anxiety medicine not blood pressure med). None of the staff seemed to care at all about what was going on and definitely treated me as such. We ended up having a nurse come take out my IV and just left. Luckily I was able to make it to my hospital where when I told them my blood pressure and symptoms they immediately rushed me to triage. Thank god I didn't have a seizure. This place is an absolute joke and they DO NOT care about their patients. They'll probably just try to give you some anxiety medicine and send you on your way. I will be reporting the doctor who "treated" me because he should absolutely not be in practice. read more

We went in for what we thought was a sprained wrist for my 2 year old son. Turns out, it was "nursesmaid elbow". Dr. Bui and his team were kind, quick, and professional. My husband was having a horrible stomach ache on Friday night. I was afraid it was a bleeding ulcer (based on past history) so I took him into this emergency center. The doctor informed us it was heart failure and he needed to be admitted into the hospital immediately and it may require surgery to save his life. We made it clear which hospital in the medical center we wanted him transported to, the request was ignored and they contacted the hospital they wanted - Pearland. That hospital told them they were not able to take him based on the condition the emergency center doctor told them my husband was in at the time. They (the Neighbors Emergency Center doctor) then contacted another hospital we did not request. We then overheard the doctor trying to explain to the hospital physician (at the clear lake hospital, again we did not request) why my husband needed to be admitted into the hospital, he read the lap results and gave his opinion, the other doctor obviously did not agree, because they went back and forth on the results. In the end, we were told basically, "oops we made a wrong call you can go home now." And that was that. My husband took copies of all the test results from the emergency center to his doctor on Monday morning and was told they could find nothing worthy of holding us there for 5 hours with the claim my husband needed to be admitted into the hospital - certainly not heart failure. It has to be noted that we made ourselves very clear that we wanted my husband to go to specific hospitals in the Houston medical center - they never contacted those hospitals. read more

My brother went here for his eye and all the DRs and Nurses were screaming at each other and kept referring to my brother as "eye boy" instead of his actual name. They then continued to NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING and did absolutely nothing for him except for giving him a cream for his eye ball that absolutely did not help at all. After they made him pay out of pocket almost $1000 for them not doing anything. They were yelling the whole time and were not professional at all. The Dr couldn't even get the eye machine to work and tried using a needle on his eye instead. This place was absolutely HORRIBLE. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Took my wife there at the beginning of the year and they were truly angels! What the heck happened? I went there with extreme belly pain for more than 12 hours and they immediately wanted to admit me into Bayshore Hospital (a piece of crap hospital that no one wants to go to). My wife said NO, if he needs to go into a hospital, send him to the Medical Center in Houston. They said hospital rooms were hard to get there - how about Pearland or Clear Lake. Pearland had no room and Clear Lake said it didn't look like I needed a hospital room (thank you Clear Lake). After 5 hours, they said, well, I guess you can just go home, but see a doctor on Monday. This Emergency Room is the BEST ER around town! If you have the insurances that they approve, then it is your go to one!! I came in last night and there was absolutely no wait. I was given paperwork immediately and the waiting room is clean, new, and has TVs with good shows on (The Voice & Dancing With The Stars last night) As soon as I handed them the paperwork, the nurses greeted me and were ready to take me to the back to get my vital signs. They both were very friendly and quick to get me back into a room. Once in a room, the nurse swabbed my nose and throat right away and sent me for a chest X Ray. We saw the Dr. very soon after who was friendly and did his best to try to not have to poke me. Unfortunately, I had Pneumonia, so I ended up having to be poked. While waiting for the ambulance to transfer me to a hospital to be admitted, the nurses gave me heated blankets, teddy bears, snacks, drinks, chatted with us and even offered us some coloring books, colors and even more! It was a great experience despite being ill. Don't go anywhere else! read more

We were given our paperwork right away, there were very few other patients in the waiting area. The nurses were nice and efficient. They gave my daughter heated blankets and we saw the doctor quickly. They gave her a chest X-ray and swabs right away. So far the experience of urgent care here is as good as something like this can be. I would recommend this place for speed and quality. read more

If you've ever seen the show Private Practice, you'll have an idea of what kind of atmosphere this center sets off. Friendly, open, and clean. Hell, even the staff are all pretty to look at. Aesthetics aside, my visit here was a pretty pleasant one. I went in pretty early on a Saturday after flying in from Tennessee. I suspected that I had a pretty severe case of swimmer's ear, something that I am unfortunately pretty accustomed to. I couldn't bare the thought of enduring the pain until Monday so set off for this clinic on the suggestion of my family who have used it in the past. I was greeted warmly on arrival and asked to do the normal: paperwork. The paperwork was generic, but not excessive. I waited maybe five minutes, ten tops before getting called to the back with a nurse to check my vitals and see what I was doing there. Again, very swift visit with the nurse and within five minutes I was taken to another room to wait my doctor. I believe his name was Dr. Vu, and his inspection of my ear was thorough and in depth. Apparently I also had a middle ear infection. He asked questions, gave suggestions for proper avoidance in the future, and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask my own questions. He did have to insert a wic, which I've had done in the past. I had some of my own prescription ear drops from my past bout of swimmer's ear, and he notated that this was exactly what he was going to prescribe, and even used it to engorge the wic. We left after this, getting plenty of material on my infections, a doctor's note,a prescription for oral antibiotics, and an offer of a parting snack. (Really!!!) I was charged for an E.R. visit, which makes sense since apparently all the doctors who see patients here are board certified doctors. (No assistants!) With that, I was off. My lack of one star was only because my doctor used my own ear drops to treat my ear, and quite a bit of them. I started to run out on day 4 of my run of 7 days. I called the center to see if he could call them in for me and was told that the doctor who saw me only worked sporadically every two months or so and that the other doctors would refuse to call in an antibiotic when they had not personally seen me. So while I loved the initial service I only wish that they had had the foresight to prescribe more of the expensive drops when so much of them were used in office. (And not ask me to come back in for another fee!) Overall, great clinic. I will use them again in the future if needed! read more

Be careful!! Went here in June, called ahead and asked how much the consultation would cost to receive a COVID test (since test itself should be covered by insurance) the girl on the phone said there was no fee, this was a lie! I show up, I let them know I need to get tested for my work today but I already have an appointment with my PCP, they get me signed in, nurse comes in writes my symptoms down and then comes in with a strep test and flu test as well. I ask the cost and say okay because might as well rule that out now. A doctor comes in, I reiterated everything I had told the rest of the staff then he goes outside and I hear him tell the nurses that I need a CT scan of my lungs!!! What!!! I decline and the front girl comes in and let's me know my insurance won't cover ER visits (and they are considered an ER) so how would I like to pay for today's visit? I ask her what my total is since I should only be paying for the tests I took, she informs me that since I was seen by a doctor I have to pay for the examination fee, I told her I never asked for a doctor and that I said all along I was only here for a COVID screening. She then informs says they don't do only screenings and I owe them for the doctors visit. I was feeling so sick and upset that I was taken advantage of during this vulnerable time, I told her to bill me and left. After resting a bit I called back and asked the girl that answered why I was being charged for a visit when I had called 15 mins before showing up and told I could take a test with no fee, she informed me that the girl I dealt with was gone for the day but that they don't do screenings without an exam and there was no way I would avoid that charge so she didn't know why I was given that information. If I hadn't been given this FALSE information I would've just gone to the clinic across town where my coworkers had gone and gotten clear, straightforward service. Its very upsetting that I was misled and given false information to get me to come in to their EMPTY clinic, no one else was there at that time and now I see why! These people are unethical and cannot be trusted!!! To Raquel C.- you're not understanding, I am aware that my insurance is not widely accepted which is why I called more than one place ahead of time to ask for the consultation fee. Your employee gave me wrong information to get me to come in. Once there I kept being offered more and more, inspire of me staying that I only needed a Covid test many times, so that I would walk out with a hefty bill. It was not a miscommunication your employee lied to me and the rest of the employees I encountered there also DID NOT LISTEN. That is why I am not recommending. read more

Here with my 86 year old mother who is almost completely deaf and cannot understand anyone wearing a mask. They won't let me go back with her and I have zero faith that they are going to get anything right about what happened. We're both old, fully vaccinated and I don't think they're worried about Covid because they have coughing people sitting in the waiting room. Definitely wouldn't go here ever again. I went in to get the rapid COVID test and we were told me and my other three family members had COVID in less than six minutes. We didn't trust it much so we went ahead and took the PCR test which takes 24-48 hrs and we come to find out only one person was positive. They put us at risk. read more

Do NOT go here. Saw the dr for less than 5 minutes to 'look' at a infected finger and got a bill for $1800. He didn't do anything except give me a prescription. Very disappointed. After being in extreme abdominal pain. I dragged myself to Neighbors Emergency Center. No wait time, I was seen immediately. Not just sitting in a room waiting on a doctor but actually seen by the nurse and doctor right away. Unfortunately, I had to be admitted to the hospital after a few tests and a CT scan but they made sure I was taken care of. The doctor even called the hospital the next day to check on me. Everyone at Neighbors was so sweet and attentive. read more

My husband was having severe chest pain after work. On his drive home, he stopped in. He checked to make sure they took our insurance (BCBS), and then they admitted him for the night. If we ever have an emergency situation again, we will ONLY go to Neighbors! They nurses were so sweet. They even brought us snacks and drinks. They asked my husband if he needed extra sheets or a blanket since he was staying overnight. Very clean location and very professional. There was also security to watch our vehicles during the night. By far the WORST experience ever!! My 8th month old had a high fever and I brought him here due to location. Big mistake! I filled out paperwork and was told they did not accept my insurance but offered me a "free screening" to determine the severity of my child's symptoms. He was taken back and vitals were checked. They put me in a room and told me he would be screened for Flu and Strep. They also gave him Motrin for fever. The doctor checked him over said his tests were negative and suggested a chest x-ray. I declined and informed him I only accepted the FREE SCREENING and did not want any services that would have to be paid out of pocket. He agreed. After he left the room I walked out and informed the nurses I was leaving. I asked front desk if I had to sign anything and they informed me I would be billed. I asked for what if all I had received was the screening, she stated they had "gone over her authority and provided treatment which I would be billed for." At that point I asked for a breakdown and she stated $560 for the visit and screen tests. I asked for a manager so I could dispute charges and she stated she would notify her manager Rebecca and notate my account. I have yet to receive a phone call from Rebecca or her staff. I received a bill today for 2720.76. They are even charging the x-ray I declined!! This facility and employees are deceitful, liars and crooks!! I was never told or asked for consent to continue services after "free screening" Please stay away and make loved ones aware of this facility and unethical practices. Thank you read more

Staffing was HORRIBLE! Literally took my brother in and as my sister in law was in the back talking to the doctor she was talking crap. One of her coworkers came in and asked if it was busy and she said, "no, just over dramatic patients." The receptionist has no business saying such horrendous things as people have already died from the flu, she didn't know the circumstances. Very unprofessional and should be fired. After her initial comment about dramatic patients she proceeded to attempt to talk behind our backs as I was sitting right there in the lobby. She stopped herself before saying anything else incriminating. However, she did proceed to get an attitude, then use generic pronouns to describe my brother, my sister in law and I saying "he is doing this, she is doing that and the other guy is doing this." Also laughing about it in the process to her coworker. How someone like that is in customer service whatsoever is far beyond me. Really the only person that didn't act put out by our being there was the doctor. If you have an emergency I would honestly recommend elsewhere. Not worth the time and effort of dealing with getting crap talked about you, an excessive bill and unprofessional staffing. read more
