The two male nurses that are suppose to be taking care of me have NO bedside manner at all. One of them told me he's acting this way because he has 8 patients to take care of. Like somehow that's my problem and an acceptable reason for being matter of fact about everything. I waited an hour and a half before they decided to give me pain meds in my I.V. The pain is so bad in my head that I'm shivering to death and there are no blankets, no pillows, no way to control the TV , and no way to control the lights. And I'm paying for this?....WoW!!! I'm about to yank this IV out and get me an Uber back to my truck. I'm over this already. Been here 2 hrs and still know nothing. read more

I love this place. They are always so friendly and helpful. They got me back quick. Did a ct scan and some blood work. They had me all diagnosed and ready to go in about an hour and a half. I was able to fly to see my newborn nephew the next day. Quality care for sure. read more

Arrived at 10pm & the lobby was empty. We were seen right away & the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They heard all my concerns and answered my questions. We ended up paying 0$ for the visit and got put down as a medical screening which was great. This ER is really here to help its community & provide the best health care possible. Amazing care and fast service I love that they have snacks. My only complain is some of the staff is rude I called to ask if they took my insurance and the lady didn't let me finish talking before hanging up on me. They also told me the didn't take my military insurance even though I have been there before and she didn't even check until I informed her that my insurance sent me there. The pro was that I was seen very quickly. But that didn't matter since I wasn't listened to all. When the doctor asked if I was in pain and I answered yes his response was that it was just going to hurt. Why ask if you have nothing to offer. No one discussed any discharge instructions and after I had been home I saw that I was supposed to have activity restrictions. Still a bit confused about what I'm supposed to be doing. It's been over 24 hours and symptoms are worse and now I'm going to owe hundreds of dollars to an ER that did absolute nothing for me. read more

Dr. Gukhool was very rude, he hardly listened to what was going on with me before just walking out of the room. The nurse looked at me and saw my facial expression and whispered to my mother and I that she does not like this Doctor. (I could easily see why) the only plus from my visit was that the supervisor allowed it just this time to bill my insurance for my copay because I called ahead and spoke to the staff. I am actually leaving a 5 star review for an urgent care. I was so excited to see this being built very close to my house in La Porte. I live in Deer Park and I refuse to visit any of the urgent cares in Pasadena. I came in one night with severe dehydration, nausea and in my first trimester. I was scared to death and immediately was put to ease by the receptionist. I didn't even have time to sit down in the waiting room before they had brought me back to be seen by the wonderful doctor. He made me laugh, explained everything to me and was extremely informative. They remedied my dehydration and kept me there to rest for a while. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and I was on my way home in less than 3 hours. Nothing but the absolute best. I HOPE I won't need to go back but if I do - it will be to Community Health. read more

My 5yr old fell at school and had a big slash on his forehead. I called Community ER before I drove over there and asked them if they could suture a 5yr old. They assured me they could and let me know, they were an actual emergency room, which put me at ease. When I got there, the front staff was so helpful, they only asked me to fill out a few pages. We only waited about 2mins before they took us in. My son was so nervous and a little restless, he knew they were going to touch his wound. They were so patient with him and they had all the right words and actions towards a child. They made him feel so comfortable and relaxed that by the time they were suturing him, they had to ask him to stop laughing. The next day the Dr. called me just to check on him and make sure that he was ok and to remind me, we can go back to have his stitched removed there. I am so thankful such highly trained professionals are in our little community. read more
