They are not fast at all. I waited for 3 and half hours to get a test. Go somewhere else if you value your time.

BLOOD PRESSURE HIGH. Rn working was nice enough, asked typical questions. By the way I've been a nurse almost 40yrs. Doctors walked in, looked like a train wreck who just woke up. No bedside manners!!!! Showed no concern. I have insurance and never been in a facility like this, I did see that they had all necessary equipment for CTs, Xrays, etc. I had No Chest Xray, I had labs , EKG, and UA but have no idea what the results were, no one not the RN or Dr. Terry springer discussed results with me. I had a breathing tx and IV with steriods which calmed the coughing. Dr. Came back in said I was treated for Bronchitis, given prescriptions to treat this. I'm still with Shortness of breath (SOB) - no xray, the one thing I really wanted! I'm still dizzy. Why have all this equipment and not do some more workup. And I have NO bill, have no idea what I was charged or what I may owe! I felt so tired and dizzy when I left, I didn't even ask. No one payed me any attention when I walked out the exam room to the front...I really believe the Doctor just wanted to be left alone, it was about 10p when I left and he barely picked up his head when I passed the station. I pray I don't have to go to another ER tomorrow, I think my mistake was I told them I have an appointment with my primary next week, I'm sure this lazy Doctor that , they can handle this.. No chest xray! Chest still tight, I'm amazed. This is why I've never went to these facilities. But the guys were at the back were kind.

I'm staying on the high-to-low side because this is a really nice facility and has treated me well…read moreso far (yes, I've been here the entire day). I reported this morning because of chest pain, and was immediately seen. I hadn't even written my name on the registration form before being called back. I've had a complete work-up, and was given the option of staying for observation or being transporting to the local hospital (and a room would have already been arranged). I chose the hospital, but they are at capacity. However, staying here has been quite nice: not overlooked, can run same exact tests as hospitals, very clean, free snacks for my visitors, great cable, and a real hospital room. Notice: this is an emergency center, not an urgent care. In short, this is like a stand-alone hospital. After reading some reviews, I'm just really nervous about the bill. Until then, I'll be sure to encourage my guests to load up on the complimentary snack. And although this is a hospital, I'm still not sure of the meal situation...but the morphine makes up for it...shhhhh... Immediately, upon discharge tomorrow, I will be headed to the pre-arranged cardiologist appointment.

I had one of the worst billing experiences of my life. Over $20,000 astronomical bill for basic…read moreimaging, an ER evaluation, and urine test. Then a 2nd bill for over $2,000. NOTHING about my visit justified these excessive charges. I have disputed them and no response. The services I received DID NOT match the severity level they billed me for and tests were performed without consent including a excessive $684 pregnancy test. Multiple CT scans done without informing me. These are predatory billing practices. I do not recommend this predatory billing emergency center.

I attempted to make and appointment. The nice woman who answered couldn't even say the word,…read more"tinnitus". occupational hazard. The conversation was brief. We got the PII and insurance information out of the way. Then we attempted to schedule and appointment. The soonest to their location near me was 12:12pm on Friday. Then I was told that I would need a hearing test first. Ok. That makes perfectly good sense. You sort of need data if you wish to event attempt to speak intelligently on subject. Then I was told that I would need to take the 8:45am, appointment in order to have the hearing test. So I thought the 8:45am would be for the hearing test and then I would see the doctor. No. The 8:45am was to have a consultation with the doctor. Then I was to have the hearing test. She lost me there. The 12:15pm was for a consultation with the doctor as well without a hearing test. A hearing test apparently doesn't matter so why the need to change to 8:45am? I could get the hearing test at a later date. The point is that they wanted me to burn a visit, which is time, money and needlessly goes against my insurance. I asked if I could just get the hearing test. Of course. But I would still have to have the consultation and followup visit. Huh. Sound like they're just padding the books. I should've been given the hearing test and then seen the doctor. Then we'd actually have something to talk about. You know. Those little data details called test results. The young woman was nice. She did tell that she hoped I got the help I needed. Man. So do I. A doctor's office that is more concerned about my health than its bottom line would certainly be nice. Sad day...calling them only made the ringing in my ears worse.

OH EM GEE! I live in Houston and usually schedule my doctor…read moreappointments in Houston but I decided to try this ENT location due to it's convenience to my job... I was having issues with my ears. I knew I had wax build up and bought those stupid wax removal kits (that do not work) TWICE. The wax was so bad that my balance was off, I would get dizzy while running and my inner ears would sometimes close shut while asleep on my pillow and then I'd have to carefully open them again..TMI, right? I know... Anyway, DR. PATEL!!!!! She was so amazing. She was very personable and walked me through the process. She safely and painlessly excavated all of my impacted wax! I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN!!! LOL.. the office was neat and clean, Dr. Patel's nurse was super nice, the receptionist was friendly and best of all, they used a paperless electronic questionnaire system similar to an ipad that made checking in a breeze! I came back to work and told all of my co-workers that they need to go and get this done! I can hear so much better now! Thank you Medical Center Associates of Houston - Baytown :-) You guys are all right with me!!!

Dr. Ahmed is a great doctor and a caring person. He is compassionate and very easy to talk to…read more The wait to see him is long at times due to him spending a lot of time with some of the patients. I don't mind very much because I know he will do the same with me or my family member. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because it at times takes a very long time and lots of calls to get him to finish paperwork for you. He overextemds himself I believe. Bottom line, he is a great doctor and person.

I truly wish I could give zero stars. PLEASE believe these…read morereviews and notice that this person has treated so many people in the same disgusting manner. I feel so seen by reading other people's reviews who were seeking help/feeling hopeful and left in tears. It's been months since this person "dr" Ahmed took my $500, talked AT me for 10 minutes through a screen, told me "it's not a matter of IF you commit su!cide- it's WHEN." He hadn't even listened to me as he was talking over me the whole time. I struggle with adhd/depression and anxiety. I am not AT ALL suicidal, I was proud and hopeful and excited that I made a step in scheduling this appointment. but this crook made me feel SO small, I stood up for myself and my voice was shaking, I was holding back tears as I explained to him that he was not listening - he SMILED in the most condescending way and began repeating himself / telling me I needed to go to an institution to be monitored. I hung up the phone, I cried and couldn't get out of bed for a week. I haven't been able to seek help since, this person caused me emotional damage and set me back 10000 steps that I'd worked so hard for. All he wants is money. Please please do not go here.

Houston Hospice - Diamond Team, lasted a week before I had to fire them and find another hospice…read morethat could provide end of life care for my mother. To begin, their intake nurses are rough, belligerent and detached. The lady we got could care less about my mother, she just wanted to do the minimum and get out. Not a single commitment was upheld, not one. We called for support and help four times in the first week and the average time to hear back from someone was two hours, then another two hours for a nurse to arrive. So if you have an emergency, just call the ambulance and have the hospital take care of it, it's faster, and your loved one will suffer less. Now, as a result of me firing them, they became hostile, threatened to make me pay for equipment they left behind and failed to retrieve. They never took into consideration that my mom had died and their employees, having missed the appointment to pick up the equipment, lied and said a dead woman was preventing them from getting it. We choose to go with another company who was hands down better suited for caring for end of life patients. Houston Hospice is a money game, you are a dollar sign, if you are cool with that, then use them.
