I was looking for a low cost option for medical care and happened upon this amazing clinic just 8 minutes from my home! I went ahead and made an appointment (just a couple of hours from the time I called) and they called me by name when I walked in the door (they had taken the time to look who was expected and made me feel very welcome). After a very quick form to fill out (only 1 page!!) they immediately called me back to take vitals and I only waited a minute to be seen by Lori. She was kind, thorough, really listened, and didn't make me feel rushed. I was only there for 1 hour and in that time frame had an exam, blood-work and an EKG. I don't think I was left in that room by myself in between procedures for more than 1 minute at a time. Also, Lori was so conscientious of my money - she laid out exactly what each thing would cost that was necessary and then a few things she recommended but was not necessary. She also was knowledgeable on what my cost would be for my prescriptions & prescribed the lowest cost prescription that would work for me. I will definitely be back!!! read more

It has been a long time since I have had such a positive experience on a doctor visit. Access Health Clinic is run by a nurse practitioner named Lori and she really takes the time needed to find out how you are doing. Most doctor visits these days involve a lot of waiting and very minimal time with the doctor. While I did experience some waiting to see Lori, I didn't mind because I knew she was busy giving personalized attention to other patients who where there before me. When it came to be my turn I received that same level of attention and care. Even thought it was just a simple prescription refill, since it was my first time there she wanted to know how I had been feeling over all and if I had any concerns. Being a new patient also meant that there were some tests and blood work to be done. It was all conveniently done on-site by one of the friendly nurses there. Overall it was a very positive experience and it's great to know that affordable, quality health care is available in our neighborhood. read more

This place is the best kept medical secret around this area. A flat $50 fee for a visit and there are no appointments. They don't take insurance which is fine since it's cheaper to pay the fee than go to a dr that files with insurance. The place is clean, efficient in their systems, Ms. Wisdom is kind (she's a nurse practitioner) and seems to know her content, and it's local. The first time I came, I fractured my foot and she sent me to a discounted x ray place close by. The whole process cost me around $150 instead of $500 like the urgent care quoted me. The second time I went, I ended up having an upper respiratory infection and virus. They gave me an optional strep test (I knew results in 10 mins) and a steroid shot to quicken healing since no one has time to be sick, including me. I did leave with a $100 bill, but I got some extras. They are a family practice so children are welcome too. This office is definitely the place to go if you or your child are sick. Professional, clean, nice, sweet, informative, good advice all these things u can find in this place and as well the great fact that they are affordable .. and the most I liked about this place other than the nurses and the doctor (Lori) are nice is that I got a call back after five days checking up on me if I'm doing better and if there's anything else thy can help me with ... that was surprising to be honest never seen a clinic that do some call backs to check up on their first time patient but with this clinic I did and if they keep doing what they are doing now this clinic will really reach a high level with time cause they know how to build the relation with the customer to come Back to them!!! Hands down the best service I have received at any facility in a very long while. Every single person at the clinic was extremely friendly, professional and attentive. Dr. Lori was amazing and answered all my questions and gave me some great advice concerning my issue. I have to also praise them for how clean the office is. I have serious OCD when it comes to funky smelling places especially at a medical facility. (no one wants to leave thinking about taking a shower) I was quite impressed for sure! Today, 3 days later I received a phone call from the Medical Assistant at the front desk checking up on me...totally blew me away! I've been looking for a clinic like this one for some time now and this has been the first time I've left a doctor visit feeling so positive. Dr Lori and the gentleman assisting her were very helpful on answering my questions, both were very kind and full of knowledge. I was referred to Access while seeking the Covid Vaccine.....I called to get info on what steps etc I had to take to get on a waitlist and spoke to Lori/ she was wonderful and explained that if they had cancellation or no show, and I could get there within hour, they could probably accommodate me. She was such a pleasant lady- gave me hope I would get a call. I received a call from office 2 days later and had my first vaccine 30 minutes later. I was greeted with warm smiles and a feeling of genuine concern. Once the paperwork was completed I was met by ms Jean. After taking a brief look at my foot she went into action. Best clinic ! Nice clean environment, friendly front desk and nurses. Best part is no appointment is needed, you can just walk in to the clinic and the wait time is usually no more than 10 minutes. Unlike any other clinic that takes insurance, this place actually tells you the price of any test of procedure that you are going to do , Its such a great relief not to worry about getting a bill in a few weeks with a number that you will never be able to afford ! This place is awesome! I came in after spending an entire night in the hospital with no diagnosis, and the nurse practioner was able to help me immediately. She gave me a shot, pain meds and antiobiotics which had me feeling better after 4 hours. I still finished my medicine for the week, but they kept in touch with me every few days by phone. I have since then recommended employees to their location. They take such good care of their patients and are very knowledgable. read more

All I have to say is, wow! I was so nervous coming in to get checked out. But Dr. Lori made me feel so comfortable. I am so insecure about my weight and they made sure I felt at ease.
