On top of everything, there was some miscommunication and I needed a little clarification. But Abby in Recovery/PACU, Nolan, Maggie, and Zach all went above and beyond and completely changed the direction of my day. Abby, I had the opportunity to watch you in your element, multitasking while also being on the phone with my doctor's office, trying to figure out my situation and make things easier for me. You were incredibly sweet, patient, and kind. And I have to mention those beautiful sisterlocks! You are definitely the woman for the job! Nolan, if you need someone to help you find your way, locate something, or get where you need to go, he is super persistent and helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to assist. Maggie, your cheerful personality and laughter truly made my day brighter. I watched you go from room to room, spreading joy while providing reassurance, guidance, and kindness. You even made sure to share a joke with each patient. Your warm smile and positive energy made a real difference. And Zach, you took such great care of us as well. From walking me to the waiting room and making sure I didn't get lost in the halls, to helping me when I went to retrieve my car you were there every step of the way. When I finally got to the front, Zach was already there waiting with my wife and a wheelchair. Then, just as I was about to pull off, my phone rang. It was Superwoman Maggie calling to let me know I had accidentally left my sweater behind! Not only did she remember the color, but she accurately described the sweater. And without hesitation, Zach volunteered to go back inside, retrieve it, and bring it out to my vehicle so I wouldn't have to walk all the way back inside. Imagine working an 8-12 hour shift, knowing you're still at the beginning of your day, and choosing to continue going above and beyond for a patient and their family. That kind of kindness means more than people realize. I truly hope these amazing individuals receive the recognition they deserve. They made me, as the family member of the patient, feel welcomed, cared for, and respected. And an extra-special KUDOS to Abby for running such a wonderful team. It takes a great leader to teach, guide, and lead a team by example and it shows. Thank you, Abby, Nolan, Maggie, and Zach, for making an incredibly stressful day so much better. After completing the initial paperwork, Bill took us back to an exam room. We discussed my issue and the proceeded to have my blood pressure and temperature taken. Bill walked me through the process with expertise and kindness. It was determined I needed a cat scan so Cathy took over and walked me through the process with ease and whimsy. We were there for awhile because I needed several tests to try to figure out what was causing my pain but that's to be expected and was not an issue. Meghan checked me out without pressure or a judging look like I have previously experienced at other places. I actually felt good about paying! This was probably the most enjoyable ER visit, despite my pain issue, I have ever had. Thank you Cathy, Bill and Meghan! Y'all are awesome!

I was sent by my primary care physician after hours and the doc on call did not want to do the procedure she called ahead for me on. He gave every excuse as to why I shouldn't- seems like if someone is sent by their doctor- you do the procedure. They went for a dang reason. It's been a week and I am still sick. Covid seems to have brought the worst out of people and this guy is definitely 1. New management doesn't seem to have made a difference. He was smiling when I left. He was either lazy or evil. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Worst doc I have ever had the unfortunate displeasure to experience. And that is saying A LOT.

From the scheduling team, to the "patient advocate", to the "patient liason /guest relations" I MEAN EVERYONE and ultimately, NOBODY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING. The billing department for SEVERAL WEEKS in a row, closing or leaving early and even when asked at 3:45pm to be transferred to the guest relations department to complain, THE GUEST RELATIONS HAS LEFT EARLY AS WELL! I have been under their care from week 9 to week 33 of my pregnancy and I tell you, I just want my child to be born so I dont EVER have to ever have anything to do with Houston Methodist Willowbrook. Im too far along to be accepted into a new practice for my birth and that is the only reason why I am still here. They "overlook" small details that, prevents insurance coverage and you find out after the fact or , like me , at 33 weeks, when its too late to transfer care to another provider. PLEASE save yourself a BIG headache and possibly a mental breakdown and go to another hospital.

We were in and out in about an hour, they even gave us a free pen and a coke from their fridge. Before the appointment even started, we realized my daughter had accidentally left her glasses at home. The staff told us we either had to drive all the way back home right then to grab the glasses or come back the next morning. I agreed to return the next morning, assuming our payment would carry over since my daughter never received her physical or any care that day. To my shock, they then informed me that if we came back tomorrow, we would have to pay the full fee all over again, even though no physical was performed! Charging twice for a service that was never delivered is completely unreasonable and feels like a total scam. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for fair treatment or decent customer service. Save your money and go somewhere else. Oh and the "GOOD REVIEWS" are bought by them saying they'll give you a Starbucks gift card in exchange of good review
