I asked what was the base price for time worked and he said there was not one. However in the past a service call was 98 which included 1 hour. We'll he reset and replaced the blower. We were.cold despite using oven and space heaters I did not get much sleep. I went over and over the furnace unable to determine way it would not start. I got the info on the blower and looked it up. Found it was actually 150 dollars. Then thinking the furnace seems fine, no errors on the led I pulled the thermostat and checked for power. That was perfect. So I put a jumper direct and the furnace started and ran. Cycled it 4 times without incident. Tested resistance on the thermostat itself and.found was malfunctioning. I had this company out 3 times to check the problem and they told me there was no problem. Today I found out the cement work and the sealing of the shower were done incorrectly. We had them install a humidifier on furnace of our newly built home. Towards the end of the heating season we called them because the unit they installed wasn't coming close to maintaining a proper humidity level in our ranch home. The owner gave me some excuse about how it would be better during the next heating season. They never made us aware of advantages of a fan driven humidifier vs the passive model (humidifier is dependent on furnace fan air movement to push moisture through the humidifier and into the heated air) We can't get the humidity in the house above 25% when 40-43% is a proper range. We are now have to pay another company to install a fan driven humidifier. Very disappointing!!
