I spent 7k on an install. The whole thing leaked 4 years in and everything died at 5.5 years. I literally called 30 times for them to come out. They ghosted me and I had to spend another 7 grand to replace everything. On top of that I had them put a recirculating pup in the house to get instant hot water. It never seemed to work right. That is because they put the pump in backwards on the cold and not the hot. Once I paid to get that moved for $500, I had instant hot water. Let the buyer beware. read more

Bill and Key Plumbing were recommended to us by our HOA. I called Bill about a steam shower that had stopped working properly and was leaking. Bill came out to take a look and said we would need to replace the unit. He was going to check with his warehouse to find a replacement and let me know what my options were. After a week or two I didn't hear back from Bill so I sent him a text asking for a update. Bill said he had emailed me the info about the replacement. I didn't have any emails from Bill so I kindly asked him to re-send it. After another week, still no email so I called and left him a voicemail. Two more weeks go by and no phone call back from Bill. I tried sending him another text asking why he has gone radio silent on me and yet again no response. In my opinion this is very unprofessional and I would not recommend Bill with Key Plumbing. Communication is key and very easy to call/text someone back. Even if you're busy or can no longer take on the job, just communicate that to your customers instead of going radio silent on them. I wish I had a better experience with Bill and Key Plumbing. read more

The existing heater was old and it finally sprung a leak at the bottom (much to my downstairs neighbors dismay). No way to fix the existing heater. He managed to fit me in first thing on a Monday. In addition, I was in the middle of a renovation, so they did a little bit of work that same day on some of plumbing that needed to be done and didn't charge me. Prices are reasonable. I already knew Bill was a plumber I could trust, so I referred him to my neighbors, who also happen to be very good friends. They are super meticulous about maintaining their late 1970's era home, that is beginning to need more maintenance. They had a pipe freeze up on them and burst a couple of years ago, and Bill was there to help them - FAST! Just this week, my neighbors apparently had some buildup in their main drain out of the house, so they had Bill come out and jet-clean their drain. I wouldn't have known about this, except that my neighbors were so happy with Bill's service and value, that they went out of their way to thank me for introducing them to Bill, and his company. Bill is an honest and reliable guy! He backs up his work and shows up when he says he is going to show up. I had to have my entire plumbing replaced this year and he stood behind his work when I had one minor issue pop up when it was done. Bill was out at my home the next day to fix. I hired Key Plumbing Solutions to install some bathroom fixtures, one of which was a pedestal sink. They installed the pedestal normally rather than fitting it below the light fixture which is 4 inches to the left of the sink center. Now my bathroom is something right out of a Dr. Seuss book. If they would have pointed it out I would have purchased a vanity instead of installing the pedestal or would have had them simply install the parts that would allow the sink to sit properly beneath the light fixture (even if the pipes showed, it would be better than the circus in there now). Bill Griggs, the owner, had previously worked on my daughter's house and had done a good job (despite not pointing out that her bathtub was leaking while working in one of her bathrooms so now she gets to pay another plumber's base fee to come out even though he could have fixed it while he was already there). After several phone calls they did not even show the common curtesy of responding to me to discuss. After I submitted a complaint on the BBB, Bill responded tersely and has made no attempt to right the situation. Lesson: should have paid with a credit card so I could have disputed the transaction. read more
