There's no substitute for AE shoes. I've been coming here for at least 15 maybe 20 years. They always value the customer and treat them exceptionally. I'll buy a pair a year. It's crazy but Brian always remembers my name. I wish they had a store in Park Meadows. Because they are professionals I make the drive up to see them when I need shoes. Brian deserves kudos. We came in for their annual sale today. I have been eyeing the Warwick for the last year and a half and was excited to see that it finally went on sale. Francis was the representative who took care of us. He sized my shoe, was willing to put them on for me, and spent time finding the best matching belt. I have yet to have a bad experience at Allen edmonds. I have bought their McCallister model before and was helped by Bryan who also gave excellent quality service. I hope to return again and buy more shoes next year. read more

I had a great experience at Allen Edmonds today! I was wandering aimlessly around the mall, waiting for an appointment and hoping not to buy any shoes. Years ago, this place was recommended to me by Someone Who Knows, and today I decided to stop in, after having visited several other shoe stores in the mall and not having found anything particularly worthwhile. Well, I was delighted to be immediately greeted by one of the salesmen, even though both of them were helping other customers and there were more people in there browsing. (Both salesmen were tremendously helpful and knowledgeable over the course of my visit.) I took some time looking around, seeing as though I wasn't really shopping for shoes, but I finally found some I couldn't resist trying on. Brian not only found my sizes for me, but helped me into every pair and checked the fit attentively. Seriously, I'm not sure if younger people remember this, but shoe shopping used to be a time when the customer was really pampered. "These Days", you have to put your own shoe on and lace it up (ugh!)--not to mention, no one selling shoes anymore knows anything about shoes. But not at Allen Edmonds--they still actually care, and they're full of shoe wisdom to boot (so to speak)! Not only did Brian help me on with every pair, lace them up, and counsel me on the fit of the shoes, he suggested what I might wear with each of the available colors--perhaps a small detail to some, but really a very helpful thing for any man who's ever been groggily trying to decide what to wear in the morning and can't remember whether you're "supposed to" wear brown shoes with black slacks or vice versa. Anyway, I finally settled on a pair (after all, I was already there and trying stuff on). They didn't have my size/color/sole combo, but they're being shipped to me in mere days. Also bought a great belt, which brings me to another huge plus about this place--every pair of shoes has a perfectly matched belt. The price is notably higher than most of the other places one will find at this same mall, but not only is the quality of the shoes obviously vastly superior, the level of service more than justifies the cost. This is the first five-star review I've ever written. Suffice it to say, I reserve this rating for the best of experiences. I love the brand, and after my first experience here, I love this store. I just moved to the Denver area. I know that stores don't carry all shoes in all sizes in all colors, so I called ahead and asked if they had a specific boot in my size and preferred color. They didn't have it, but said they could get it in three days. The boot was on sale at the time, so they assured me that the discounted price would be honored whether it expired or not. Two days later they called saying they had it. The sale expired, they honored it. They sized me perfectly and I purchased a wonderful pair of boots. Overall experience was A+, both for the product and the customer service. The shoes really are top notch. read more

Overpriced. Old school shoes with no innovation. used to be great but this brand has declining quality. Poor size and width selection. Stuffy pretentious salesmen. Ecco is much better brand these days. Add to this shoes are very hard to break in and I give this place a D. read more

Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, bar none. I worked with a sales associate named Nate. I had to bring back a pair of shoes that didn't quite fit right, and he suggested a different shoe and made sure I got the right size.
