This place is unreal. I have stayed at a number of vineyards. Some in California, some in other countries, and they all have something appealing about them. But Allegretto stands out. The staff is absolutely amazing! And this goes far above what you'd expect for 'hospitality'. The room I had was amazing. I wish I could have spent more time in it during during the week I stayed but I was there for business and work called, lol. I did have a chance to walk the grounds and it was mind blowing. There is artwork from all over. And even though it varies it doesn't seem like it's just thrown together. Theres intent and purpose to how and where it's displayed. And then there are displays around the property that tie into zodiac signs. There are animals you can feed. Even the stray vineyard cats have food set out for them in different areas. This place is amazing. Absolutely amazing!

We stopped in yesterday Oct 19, 2025 for one drink and to walk around and look at the statues and architecture of the beautiful hotel. It's fantastic. However service in the main restaurant bar with 2 bar tenders and only a few guests was really slow. Then the young guy broke my champagne glass adjacent to the ice bin that was open and didn't remove DLL the ice for safety. It just took forever to get drinks. Mixed drinks are expensive but yo Recurded I guess. My sparkling wine was not overpriced. The grounds and beautiful resort are lovely to explore. Lovely place to have a wedding as well and there's a great pool setting with some cabanas.

Absolutely gorgeous!! We had a fantastic weekend here and the hotel has everything you need. The pool is heated, the jacuzzi is HOT, the tasting room with tables in the open courtyard and the most friendliest staff. Allegretto is beautiful inside and out. The restaurant has house made fresh pasta, delicious salads and appetizers. In the morning there is coffee in the lobby, but also made to order specialty coffees at the bar. Complimentary bikes, alpacas, sheep and goats on property with complimentary food that you can get from the bellman. Out back are the beautiful vineyards, a sound maze, a chapel and gorgeous grounds to walk with a glass of wine and just enjoy your company. Parking is easy, either valet or self park and the rooms are perfect. Our balcony overlooked the courtyard that had fire pits and plenty of seating. Our bed was very comfortable, the shower was a walk in, very spacious and had soap, shampoo and conditioner, if needed. The location was perfect and is only a few miles from Sensorio light show which was a beautiful display of lights to enjoy at night. We highly recommend a stay here and would definitely return. Cheers!

Allegretto Resort is when you combine an Italian villa, castle, art museum, astro-physical creative space and vineyard into one magical place. The little kid in me who loves art, Italy, wine, and learning was so excited to be there! One minute I am passing a giant Buddha when heading to the restroom and the next, I am sitting by a fireplace next to a HUGE cross section of an old Sequoia tree. The next day, we walked the horoscope gardens and sat on wooden swing benches and then rode a tandem bike around the premises to pet alpacas. And we did all of that without even leaving the property! Allegretto is jaw-droppingly breathtaking. The middle of the resort has a courtyard that is exactly like the piazzas I've seen in Italy. With plenty of seating and fire pits for groups to hang out at in the evening, there are so many options. There is a nice (though a little small) pool onsite. There is a vineyard. There are lots of beautiful marble stairways. There are high ceilings. There are incredible light fixtures. There is art EVERYWHERE you look, like geodes, oil paintings, old photographs, and life-sized marble statues. There were antiques and artifacts tastefully displayed. Customer service was excellent. I had many questions for various people on the grounds, and everyone was accommodating and friendly without expectation. Our room on the first floor was large and had French doors to a cute seating area that accessed the courtyard (it was not a private patio). We had THE most comfortable bed for a hotel room (I am usually a terrible sleeper), and the comforter was soooooooo nice! I also absolutely adored the high ceilings and extra long hanging ceiling lights. They felt regal, and who doesn't love feeling like a princess for a day or two?!! The only downside to the room is every time the guests above us walked around, our ceiling lights rattled. It was strangely loud when we didn't have any music or noise (ie, when we were trying to sleep), so it could be scary to hear when it was dark. It sounded like an earthquake. [TIP: When booking a room, choose a top floor to avoid noise, if you can. Also make sure to set aside enough time to hang out at the hotel because there is much to do there!]

James and Colton from the bellhop team were absolutely amazing. I really appreciate how every time I valley the car with them. They return it promptly and fully charged just makes a big difference as an electric vehicle owner.

So sweet! Some wine and a card for my birthday!

Wow! Stunning, art forward hotel. What a magical place! I was so happy I got to spend my birthday here... HOTEL: Stunning. This hotel is a feast for the eyes and soul. As you enter the lobby, you'll see massive ceilings, a gorgeous staircase, and amazing features everywhere you look. Open yourself to exploring every little detail! The artwork is exquisite, the giant crystals are magnificent, the chapel is relaxing, the farm animals are cute, the pool area is lovely, the courtyard feels relaxing, and all around you feel like you are in a beautiful Italian Villa. Explore everything! I can't say it enough! This hotel is also close to downtown. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Kind customer service. The staff is friendly and I love that. Unfortunately, a wine glass broke in our room all over the entry floor. The front desk woman, Christy, working the night shift, was so amazing. She swept it up, then vacuumed it for us. We felt terrible, but appreciated her efforts and hospitality! The guys who carried our luggage to and from our room were very polite and helpful as well. Don't forget to tip! PRO TIP: Anyone visiting Paso should be experiencing SENSORIO Field of Lights. Get the Total Glow Package to be able to view everything. It is less than 2 miles from the hotel. Grab an uber or Lyft if you want to have drinks there! The experience is unreal! I have it posted on my reviews. This hotel made my birthday weekend feel special and unforgettable. I will definitely be back one day in the future.

This is by far hands-down, the best place to stay in Paso Robles if you want to go all out! This Italian, Villa style, hotel and winery grounds are astounding! The service is impeccable from valet and check-in to room service to the restaurant and housekeeping and checkout. Everything is seamless. The place is gorgeous and prides itself on its art and wine. But the food is also to die for. I highly recommend.

Stayed in this lovely unique vineyard resort for my birthday and wow, enjoyed every minute! Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the vineyard. The resort is truly spectacular with a gorgeous courtyard and plenty of indoor and outdoor amenities. My husband and I felt like we were back in Florence, Italy. Worth every penny! Can't wait to return!!

From the outside, it's rather unassuming, but once you go in the front doors, the inner real beauty of this location is revealed. The courtyard is simply amazing, and like a bubble in space and time that offers a refuge from the outside world. In the evening the fireplaces are burning with hardwood every night and they offer fresh made s'mores to hotel guests. There's actually a s'mores menu. The whole environment is almost like something from a movie. They've also got a wonderful library that is tastefully appointed with many wonderful and interesting different books to read. It definitely invites you to sit down and snuggle by the fire with a good book. Such a cozy feeling! You can also select some candy for a snack. The rooms themselves are also beautiful and the bedding looks nice. Though I will say for me personally the pillows were really uncomfortable, and they had a rough spun duvet which smelled musty on the inside like it hadn't been washed in quite awhile. It looked and smelled like they were washing the sheets and the blanket but not the duvet itself. They also offer breakfast in the morning, but it's a little bit later than some other places so if you have to get an early start, then you probably won't be able to catch it. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and would say this experience is really good for the boutique traveler that is looking for a peaceful, unhurried trip.

Let me start by saying, I've stayed at Cava Robles RV Resort - Sun Outdoors Paso Robles before, and…read morehonestly, I used to love this place. The customer service was always on point, the grounds were spotless, and the bar/food situation was generally better than you'd expect from an RV resort. That's actually why we wanted to come out for Spring Break--and why we brought another family with us. Right off the bat, things felt... a little off. When we pulled into our RV spots, both fire pits (ours and our friends') were full of ash and old, charred wood. Not a huge deal--we don't even really use them--but it was noticeable. Ours was also broken (one leg completely off), which just added to the "hmmm... okay" impression. It wasn't terrible, just definitely not what we remembered. We had planned to kick off the trip with dinner at the bar the first night. Turns out--it's closed on Wednesdays. That one's on us for not checking ahead, but still a bit of a buzzkill. The next day, we figured we'd make up for it with lunch and drinks. This is where things really went sideways. The bartender/server was great--super nice, clearly trying--but every single order turned into, "I'm so sorry... we don't have that." No fries. No chicken fingers (which, with kids, is basically a crisis). Same drink menu as always... but almost none of the ingredients to actually make the drinks. I eventually simplified my order to tequila on the rocks with a lime. "I'm sorry... we don't have limes." At that point, I actually went back to my RV, cut up a couple of limes, and brought them to the bar. I wish I was joking. I don't even know if they used them--but that kind of says it all. From what we were told, everything was "supposed to be restocked"... it just hadn't happened yet. Which raises a pretty obvious question--who exactly was in charge of getting this place ready for Spring Break? We ended up driving into town to buy our own drinks, mixers, and food. Not exactly the resort experience we were planning on. We hung out around the pool and bar area afterward, and even that felt like it had slipped a bit. Chairs scattered everywhere, toys left out, cushions dusty with leaves--it just didn't have that clean, dialed-in feel we remembered. Later that evening, we thought it'd be fun to rent a golf cart and cruise around, meet people, explore a bit. Called the front desk... and learned that even though they're open 24 hours, golf cart rentals are on a strict 2 PM pick-up / 11 AM drop-off schedule. So if I rented one at 7 PM, I'd still have to return it by 11 AM the next day... for $140. Or wait until 2 PM the next day and miss the whole morning. So basically, no matter what, you're paying for less than a full day. Look--I'm not saying this trip ruined the place for me; it will remain in the rotation of places to consider. But it felt like visiting your favorite restaurant only to find half the menu gone and the rest "temporarily unavailable." As a "Public Service Announcement" for management, this also feels like a missed opportunity for you. This place can be great--I've seen it. But this time around, it just wasn't firing on all cylinders... and honestly, it feels like you are leaving both good impressions and DEFINITELY revenue on the table. PS-my wife says, "have better, cuter, and just more selections in your main store!"
