    Osso bucco

If you want something Milanese this is it! We've been here 10 days and this place was unique compared to all the tourist places! The spinach pasta with veal and truffle sauce was awesome! Then the Osso bucco isn't your typical style - it was different but good different :) it was something more home style than fancy! well ppl I love my pork chop but I couldn't finish it cause it was the size of my freaking head! Ricotta cheese cake and pears with chocolate sauce - yum. It's around the little circle b4 you hit "china town" the place didn't get full until 830pm so if you want a peaceful quiet dinner get there at 7pm.

Homemade ravioli was so good, I really want to go get it again!!

Homemade ravioli: 5/5 it was so good. My only complaint was that I wanted a bigger portion. The service was great. We told our server that we had been walking all day and we were thirsty and he made sure we always had water on the table. We had a large group and they were very accommodating. They gave us WARM bread and we stayed until they closed and they never pressured us to leave. Overall, great experience.

Nothing special. Food unexciting, most desserts bought in, cover charge a whopping 3 euros.

Seated very quickly, nice clean restaurant and nice waiters although language barrier made ordering a bit clunky. My wife got the ravioli while my friend and I got the bolognese lasagna. My wife said the ravioli was good not great and our lasagna was very tasty but room temperature. I like my food hot. The other person at our table got salmon and it was way overcooked and very tough. Not sure why our other party got Salmon at an Italian restaurant in Italy but to each his own. If you want a glass of wine you only have two choices, white wine and red wine. No other available. This is probably because the restaurant doesn't carry large inventories of wine due to their small size and cost. Overall no way is this above an average restaurant. It's just okay. Heat up your lasagna better, teach your chef how to cook Salmon and expand your glasses of wine selections.

You could easily pay twice as much for something not as good as that at Bellavista Cafe. Great spot if you want to experience some quality local food and not break the bank. At lunch the place was filled with locals so the food must be good and the prices fair. Well worth the trip!

I would recommend making a reservation during prime hours and sitting outside if they have space there. The pizzas are the thin crust Roman style and very solid - the classic Margherita is the one to get as the execution is fantastic. You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow. If you are by the Duomo or Galleria and want comfort food this is a great option.

Prices were fair, and the staff was very attentive. We were able to get some good Italian music and food here. The four cheese pizza is the da bomb. They even give you some free stuff for dessert and a little mini appetizer. However, there is a four Euro tax per PERSON, that might knock the wind out of you. Still, enjoyed the place.
