On top of that, they glued the pad down instead of properly taping it.To make matters worse, management completely lacks accountability. Sterling and Tommy refuse to return my phone calls or do anything to resolve the damage their team caused. Once they have your money, they will completely ghost you. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Floors For Living so far…read more My commercial tile installation began on August 7, 2026. I was told by my salesman that the project would take approximately five days. As of September 2, nearly four weeks later, the job is still not complete. The problems have gone far beyond simply taking longer than expected. Installers have repeatedly failed to show up when scheduled, worked very limited hours on many days, and the progress has been extremely slow. I have also raised numerous concerns about the quality of the installation. An entire wall in the lobby was tiled that was never supposed to be tiled, which also used material needed elsewhere in the project. At least two tiled walls visibly bow outward, and there are multiple areas where the tile lines are crooked or improperly aligned. I repeatedly warned my salesman that the installers were leaving grout haze on the walls for days without cleaning it. I specifically told him that it would become extremely difficult to remove if it was allowed to sit. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened. The crew eventually spent hours trying to remove the hardened grout residue, including using an acid cleaner that I personally supplied. I have communicated these problems through numerous phone calls, text messages, photographs, and conversations with my salesman. To his credit, my salesman has responded to me and has said that he has escalated my concerns. However, despite all of these complaints, no one from Floors For Living management or the installation department has come to my property to inspect the workmanship. On August 31, after another missed workday, I asked for a different installation crew. I was told that efforts would be made to get another crew assigned. As of September 2, I still do not have a firm schedule or a resolution. This is a commercial building, so these delays are also holding up electricians, HVAC contractors, and other trades. More importantly, I cannot put the building into service, which means this situation is costing my business money. A five-day installation should not turn into a month-long project with this many workmanship and scheduling problems without someone from management personally getting involved. I am posting this review based on my experience as it stands today. I sincerely hope Floors For Living steps in, inspects the work, corrects the defects, and gets this project completed properly. I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW. If Floors For Living resolves these issues professionally and stands behind its work, I will absolutely update this review to include that positive information and give them credit for making things right. Likewise, if the problems are allowed to continue, the project remains unfinished, or the workmanship issues are not corrected, I will update the review to document that as well. At this point, I am simply asking Floors For Living to stand behind the installation I paid for, send qualified management to inspect the work, correct the problems, and finish the job.
