I live on the golf course and I have received many compliments on the new addition to my house. My ONE gripe is one of their salesman, Dustin, did not impress. He does not have an eye for design and didn't know how to properly use his own company's rendering software. We had to use our own imagination and limited design knowledge the entire time. He NEVER took notes during our meetings, so we had to constantly remind him of the selections and changes we wanted to make. We had to pester him to update the contract and tell us the next steps needed to get the ball rolling. We almost didn't move forward with DWR. The other salespeople in the office/showroom were wonderful though. They had great suggestions and feedback that helped move our project forward. The lead contractor, Richard, we were assigned to was wonderful as well. He encouraged us to call him with any problems (which we did) and gave us very valuable and authetic feedback and suggestions on improvements to the design of the patio. His decades of experience were very instrumental in restoring our confidence. DWR does use some outside contractors, but they were very professional and we ended up using their electrician for our own needs later.

Picking out the stones, colors, materials etc. was effortless, and they had perfect recommendations based on our environment and design ideas. Unfortunately, there is no option for a zero star! I had two projects done by Cypress Patios or…read moreCPABD LLC. Both projects resulted in issues resulting in me getting a home inspector. This was an outdoor kitchen and also a balcony addition. Some items were addressed but others were not. I recommend you get a home inspector to inspect the work they perform to ensure everything is in compliance to code, meets expectations of a home inspector, doesn't devalue nor diminish the value of your home, and there are no issues when you try to sell your home in the future. For example, their framer performed some of the electrical work on the balcony and not licensed to do so. Other staff initially used on the outdoor kitchen was used who were not journeymen electrician either. I reached out to the owner of Cypress Patios or CPABD LLC on multiple occasions giving him the opportunity to correct the issues and he elected to not address them in writing. Remaining items not addressed is electrical wiring in the attic protruding above the studs and not stapled down. A loose banister railing on a balcony not secured down. And damage to our concrete patio from their selected pressure washer damaging our concrete patio. Our house was brand new and only 2 months old when Cypress Patios or CPABD LLC left these unresolved issues on our property. See photos below of the workmanship and unresolved items found by a state certified home inspector and photos. And keep in mind this is an acclaimed award winning company in 2023 and 2025. But this was left unresolved and was not corrected. I welcome the owner to respond herein on how and when they plan to resolve these issues. As of today, April 16, 2026, the owner communicated in writing he has no plans to resolve these issues.
