We called Southern Turf to get an initial estimate for turf for our back yard. Rocky, our sales rep, communicated to us via text prior to his arrival and was very prompt with our appointment time. He was very professional, was mindful of our home, and was very thorough and efficient with his measurements and assessment of our yard. I'm fact, he helped us decide whether replacing our grass (in a shaded, wet area that will not allow grass to grow consistently) with turf or some drainage rocks was best. Due to the high price of artificial grass I did extensive research, called several different turf companies, receiving several quotes before making my final decision. From day 1, I felt the most comfortable with Amanda W. and her team at Central Turf. The questions she asked at our initial meeting were extremely helpful in pointing out issues we did not even think of including drainage, sunlight, tree roots, etc. Other companies were more interested in pushing me to cover a larger area than I wanted to drive up the price. Amanda came out to the house two times before assigning a crew to my job, taking pictures/measurements, asking questions, and gathering every detail to capture exactly what I wanted. Understandably, the beginning of summer is a busy season but requested Amanda schedule an install for as soon as possible due to a party I am planning at my residence. Amanda worked with me , and found a crew to work with my schedule. The crew worked around the rainy muddy weather, showing up early, and completing the job in almost darkness. They were extremely courteous, and very respectful of excess dirt, and did not parking their vehicles in odd places to alarm the HOA as some other crews that have done jobs at the house have done. Amanda contacted me via text, phone call, and email, every step of the way, notifying me with the progress of the job as well as questioning fine details of the job such as burying an old pipe that resurfaced upon the dig. Amanda came by first thing the morning after the install and checked her crew's work. At the final walk through we went over a maintenance plan for the turf moving forward, and the warranty is the best I found in this area. I have already texted Amanda with a follow up question and she was extremely receptive and did not lose my number as contractors often do after receiving their final check. I highly recommend Central Turf, spending a lot of money on something is extremely unnerving, however, I have found comfort in the fact that the customer service experience was phenomenal and the turf turned out exactly how I wanted it to. read more
