Southern Turf's Kelly Roberts should be a professor on sales, project management & customer management. I called his boss (a friend) asking for an insane favor: step into the tail end of a new home build within a tiny timeline around final inspections & closing date to replace an aggrieved sub who refuses the customer's bonkers demand to install blue turf around his new pool (instead of the standard green). Kelly showed up, heard, assessed, found a source for the blue turf, set the customer's expectations on realistic timelines, kept the price low & ensured the crew showed up to install exactly when promised. Ladies & gents, what more do you want out of any sub or vendor? There's a reason why this company is the biggest in the country. Danny read more

I was so impressed by Southern Turf -- specifically Marianna! She is super friendly, very responsive, and exceedingly professional. They did the installation quickly, but with the utmost quality. The transformation of our backyard cannot be overstated -- it looks SO much better. I would highly recommend them. read more

The lifetime warranty means nothing. They were going to charge to fix their shit job.

Southern Turf Co. finished installing the artificial turf in our backyard. The service was amazing. Initially they estimated it would take 2.5 days to complete, and they were able to finish the work in record time in 1.5 days. The quality of the install is superior. We actually have usable space now, and my dogs love it! We lucked out with great weather this weekend, and I have never spent more time in our backyard in the 4 years that we have lived here. Tyler Chambless was a joy to work with, and very helpful and quick to respond. Ask for him to manage your project, and you will not be disappointed. read more

Southern Turf Co. did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier with the final product. Tyler was great. He gave us a full rundown of the process and answered all of our questions. He was onsite with the team for the project and kept us updated on the progress. Some heavy rains rolled in which delayed completion by a day or two but you cannot help the weather. The crew was back onsite as soon as possible and got the job done. Service was great. highly recommend. read more

Southern Turf Co - My new beautiful backyard! - Landscaping Near Me - Houston, Texas

Obsessed with my new yard! We have a very small space and the Houston elements would not allow it to be great in terms of natural grass (either dry and patchy or mud). In comes Southern Turf! Everyone I've communicated with was so friendly and accommodating. Ryan is an excellent communicator and kept me up to speed on every step and even helped me narrow down a turf option that was best suited for our space/lifestyle. The install was scheduled quickly and Gustavo and his team did an awesome job. Would absolutely work with this team again! read more

Kelly was so easy to work with. Our project was a bit complex because our backyard is three feet above our alleyway and he was so helpful. There is a lot of prep that goes into turf install that we were not aware of and Kelly really guided us to get our backyard ready! Thank you Kelly!!!! read more

Kayla was the rep that came by my house and she was super cool and professional. She had a bunch of samples and was able to really explain the benefit of going with turf. I had a ton of questions as well and Kayla answered all of them and really put me at ease about this investment. Also, I must have gotten at least 10 different quotes for Turf and Southern Turf Co was by far the best option. They also offer finance options which is a cool perk read more

We called Southern Turf to get an initial estimate for turf for our back yard. Rocky, our sales rep, communicated to us via text prior to his arrival and was very prompt with our appointment time. He was very professional, was mindful of our home, and was very thorough and efficient with his measurements and assessment of our yard. I'm fact, he helped us decide whether replacing our grass (in a shaded, wet area that will not allow grass to grow consistently) with turf or some drainage rocks was best. He offered us several pricing options as well as quality offerings. We are excited to start working with Rocky! Trust goes a long way in our decisions to work with a company or move on to another, but we have no reservations about moving forward with turf replacement. Thanks Rocky!!! read more

Absolutely loved our experience with Central Turf Co! Amanda was our sales counselor and go to girl for everything during the process! She showed us many different options and helped deliver exactly what we asked for! We wanted a space behind our pool where we could play outdoor games and our dogs could run and play and it turned out better than we thought! The price was competitive with other companies and the product exceeded the competition. Thank you Amanda and Central Turf Co! read more

Spectacular!!! Amanda was amazing to work with and made sure we were happy. Love it!!

We've been looking at revamping our backyard to make it more enjoyable for our family - the previous owners had a nice garden but it was a lot of maintain and not kid friendly. We've been considering turf and are starting to get quotes. Kelly came by and answered all of our questions, concerns, etc - in the middle of June in the Houston hear no less! At the end, he was able to give us a starting quote as well! We are still evaluating but we felt very heard and taken care of that we just had to leave a review for anyone considering shopping around. read more

We requested a quote from Southern Turf and within 2 days Rocky came to our house to inspect our yard and quote. We found the prices to be reasonable and the service to be superb. Rocky made the process very easy. Within 10 days our previously embarrassing yard look perfect with the turf we selected. We're so happy and recommend them to anyone considering turf. read more

Central Turf Co installed the turf in our yard, and we couldn't be more pleased. We reached out to 3 different companies, and CTC was by far the most professional and prompt. Lisa is amazing. She was so helpful in guiding us in choosing the right turf that met our needs within our budget. Then George and his crew came out and did the install, and they were so impressive! The people at CTC are perfectionists and care a lot about customer satisfaction. We LOVE the way the turf looks and feels. No visible seams, no lumps, just perfect. We really enjoyed working with Central Turf Co and would absolutely recommend them. read more

Rocky and his team did a great job installing the artificial turf around the back of my house for our future dog! They did a great job before the job surveying the site, showing the products they offer, and providing a quote. And when they did the work they were very punctual, kept the worksite clean, and performed high quality, professional work. Couldn't be happier with the finished product, highly recommended if you're in the need of a turf install!!! read more

I had a great experience with Central Turf. Lisa was awesome. She was patient with me and answered all my questions. She helped me come up with a design I loved. Her communication was far above any contractor I've used in the past. Very happy with my results. read more

Central Turf did an amazing job with my backyard turf. Lisa was excellent with her constant communication with me during the process. Pricing was very competitive with other Turf companies, but their swift response when I had questions won me over. I wish my HOA would let me turf my front yard, I would definitely use them again. read more

Due to the high price of artificial grass I did extensive research, called several different turf companies, receiving several quotes before making my final decision. From day 1, I felt the most comfortable with Amanda W. and her team at Central Turf. The questions she asked at our initial meeting were extremely helpful in pointing out issues we did not even think of including drainage, sunlight, tree roots, etc. Other companies were more interested in pushing me to cover a larger area than I wanted to drive up the price. Amanda came out to the house two times before assigning a crew to my job, taking pictures/measurements, asking questions, and gathering every detail to capture exactly what I wanted. Understandably, the beginning of summer is a busy season but requested Amanda schedule an install for as soon as possible due to a party I am planning at my residence. Amanda worked with me , and found a crew to work with my schedule. The crew worked around the rainy muddy weather, showing up early, and completing the job in almost darkness. They were extremely courteous, and very respectful of excess dirt, and did not parking their vehicles in odd places to alarm the HOA as some other crews that have done jobs at the house have done. Amanda contacted me via text, phone call, and email, every step of the way, notifying me with the progress of the job as well as questioning fine details of the job such as burying an old pipe that resurfaced upon the dig. Amanda came by first thing the morning after the install and checked her crew's work. At the final walk through we went over a maintenance plan for the turf moving forward, and the warranty is the best I found in this area. I have already texted Amanda with a follow up question and she was extremely receptive and did not lose my number as contractors often do after receiving their final check. I highly recommend Central Turf, spending a lot of money on something is extremely unnerving, however, I have found comfort in the fact that the customer service experience was phenomenal and the turf turned out exactly how I wanted it to. read more
