During the initial Consultation Alex walked us through what the process would look like and provided an idea of expectations and price range based off my previous quotes. Throughout the entire project, Alex was really easy to communicate with. He was on top of all the contractors and anytime we needed an update (because I wanted them often) he would call me with detailed information. Being our first remodel experience we had a lot of questions and didn't understand how everything worked, but Alex took his time to walk us through it all. He showed up weekly to check on the status of the project and communicated daily on what is happening next. We asked his team to do some appliance and window installation which they did. And if they didn't feel comfortable doing specialty installation he was up front and let us know. Everything in the project was well documented in the contract which helped guide expectations and communication. We were given a 12 week timeline and we got delayed from manufactures due to the holiday season. However, Alex's contractors worked weekends and in the end completed the project a week early. All of the contractors were very respectful and professional. During the final walk thru and weeks after we found little things that needed finished touch ups and his team came back to fix or touch up everything we asked for. Even a month later Alex was available immediately to help with questions/ concerns. My only recommendation is at his team consider accepting cash or credit card to collect points. At this time, they only accept checks or money order. Overall we love our kitchen and would recommend using House Of Remodeling and Alex as our project manager again.

He thoroughly removed the ultimate and other broken tiles and replaced it with new ones. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and the finished product was amazing. No cutting corners and he even explained why he thinks the tiles cracked/came loose. We are so grateful to have found him. He told us that he actually specializes in bathrooms and showers, which is going to be our next project so we will definitely be reaching out to him when we are ready to tackle that. He is insured as well and works with a partner who does the tub install so him and his partner can do everything from start to finish when it comes to bathroom remodeling. We recently removed a built-in and remodeled our fireplace, so the tiles around that area needed repairing/replacing. Jamen's quote was super reasonable, and once we confirmed the bid, he found us a start date right away. Jamen confirmed that one of his crew would be coming to do the job. His guy - Paolo - came punctually on the agreed upon time, explained the process, and did an awesome job repairing our tile!! Not only did he work quickly and efficiently, but he worked meticulously and made sure not to damage any existing tile. The first day took from about 9-1:30 pm to demo, cut, and set new tile. The second day he came back to do the grout (took less than an hour). Paolo explained that they wanted to make sure the tile was set/dry before grouting so that the grout color didn't blend into wet tileset color (which was white).
