Cozy little place with big mirrors and windows. Slightly short window of hours, closing in the early afternoons. Small menu and capacity but that means service is quick! Staff are incredibly friendly I got the Apple Brie which had granny smith apple slices, brie, mozzarella, caramel, and pecans. I enjoyed it but the caramel made it quite sweet and sticky, I would probably ask for no caramel next time I order. The sandwiches come out cut into quarters which makes for great sharing. My friend got the Basil Pesto and it was soooo good, especially with the cup of tomato soup with basil topping. I ended up getting my own cup of soup because it looked and smelled so good! I love a thicker tomato soup. Really liked this place, will be back! read more

But while they have what I think of as a grilled cheese, they also have many other things that while grilled and have cheese, are quite different. I had the jerk chicken and it was delicious. Onscreen menu clearly states that Fong Delight and Day Breaker are served with hash browns ordered Fong Delight they asked if I wanted hash browns didn't say anything about it costing extra then up charged me $2.50. I pointed out the menu where it says "served with hash browns" they agreed it was deceptive but didn't offer refund. Hashbrowns were pretty mediocre not much different than McDonalds. We had a lovely lunch here on Sunday on the gorgeous patio. This is a counter service restaurant where after you place your order you find a seat and your meal is brought to you. I had the jalapeno popper sandwich- it was awesome! Just the right level of heat, cheesy and delicious. It came with a house made side of pickled onions, cucumbers, and salad greens. All yummy. One dining companion had the jerk chicken sandwich. He said it was flavorful. The other companion had the Swiss and mushroom sandwich, she enjoyed hers as well. The service was great. The guy at the counter was funny and engaging. One really cool thing about this restaurant is that if you are struggling, they will allow you to ask your server for whatever level of discount you need to be able to eat there. I think that is a lovely model. Besides the food, that concept makes me want to go back to support that work in the community. read more

Haven't been to their restaurant but was lucky enough to find their food truck at the neighborhood brewery. So fun; great service, with a smile and a whopping delicious grilled cheese jerk chicken sandwich. Just the right amount of heat and extra tasty. A must try; next time I'll visit the restaurant. The French fries are crispy, and the tomato basil soup hits the spot. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I went on a nice summer day and got to take advantage of the beautiful patio but there are some indoor seating options as well. Loved, loved, loved my Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese! I went here with a couple friends who were visiting. The weather was perfect, so we took our dog and sat out on the patio. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the decor was nice. Love their mission! Employment is a hurdle for many people who are formerly incarcerated. I love that they specifically employ formerly incarcerated individuals and focus on restorative justice. The fellowship program is beneficial not only to those in the program, but also to the community as a whole. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Stoped in two nights ago to get French fries. I am wheelchair bound and this place is hard to get into. The patio tables are the biggest problem. Also a big bump before the door threshold. A customer saw I could not get in. He told an employee that I wanted to place an order and that employee came right out. Took my order,I gave him ten dollars. Came out with a bag ,I took it and left. As I went home I grabbed a few fries, when I realized there was no change in the bag. In my mind ten bucks is too much for French fries. I live five houses away from their restaurant and it's easy for me and my wife with Alzheimer's to get to and still be in sight of our house to avoid her getting confused. They are back open! The food was ready on time. I walked in and was greeted and handed my food. It took less than a minute to pick up the food. I enjoyed my Havana which is their take on a Cuban sandwich. You get a little bit of salad as part of the purchase. The only issue we had was they put pepperoni in a pizza grilled cheese where one of our vegetarian family members had ordered olives and not pepperoni so some trading was necessary. Maybe ordering sites should have a "I'm a vegetarian" option to warn restaurants. Super fast and friendly pick up with easy ordering. One of the family said they have the good kind of fries. Social justice and grilled cheese, an amazing combo that I wholeheartedly support! We popped in here on a Sunday afternoon and found that the tiny seating area in the front was pretty packed. And while we were able to get a table, not to worry, lady giving us "hurry up and eat" eyes, there is a whole other seating section for you and your group. Let a girl eat her grilled chilled in peace! That said... I ordered the Back 2 Bac, which is a grilled bacon, avocado, cheddar sandwich with sriracha ranch. Holy smokes, I want it all the time! So good. The fries were crisp and had just the right amount of seasoning. The only snafu is that my salad didn't have any dressing on it and my friend's had too much. Great staff and atmosphere. Food: Grilled Cheeses galore! This place has about 10 different gourmet grilled cheeses served on no frills paper lined trays with a little green salad. There's an option to add French fries or tomato soup, both of which are delicious! On my latest trip, we tried the Basil Pesto, Jerk Chicken and Four Cheese sandwiches. All were amazing, but honestly the tomato soup is what really blew us away. They also have beer and wine offerings as well. I was not expecting to be as blown away by this grilled cheese place as I was. We were greeted immediately when we walked through the door by the person working the register. She had such a great attitude and was very helpful with showing us what was good on the menu (since it was our first time there). The music in this place was so fun and upbeat, which definitely added the the vibe of the meal. The sandwich comes with a salad which was an arugula and spinach base with a vinaigrette. This was definitely the best grilled cheese I have ever had in my life!! Also, we didn't realize that this places profit goes towards fighting mass incarceration, which makes you feel even better about eating a great meal for an even better cause! I got the basil pesto for seven bucks plus fries for two plus a soda for another two. The sandwiches are kind of small. Kind of feel like you could get something similar at a high school cafeteria. It was tasty enough. Just nothing mind blowing. I know one of the previous reviewers here had issues with the service. Kind of got here at an off hour today, but found the staff to be prompt and friendly. Minor quibble - I asked for a Diet Coke and got a Sprite. No big whoop. Check em out if you are in the area! All Square's mission is what motivated me to attend one of their soft opening events. The restaurant is nestled into an intimate and neighborly looking area. The location itself is small but has a large amount of sidewalk space that they could have a lot of patio seating in the future during warm seasons. The kitchen looks super small and the folks cooking/serving had to make it work in small quarters but the product came out well. They will need to tweek some things like create an assembly line approach to preparation and maybe create a number serving system so people don't have to yell your name when the order is ready. Other than that I enjoyed my jerk chicken grilled cheese. I asked what sauce they used for the jerk chicken and once I saw that they had the Walkerswood sauce I knew the flavor would at least be right. My Jerk Chicken grilled cheese was quite yummy with the side of fries I got. I asked for ketchup but they didn't have any. Instead, they had a choice of two sauces, I chose the chipotle based one and actually loved it so much I used it on my sandwich. I like this place and wish them luck! read more

Others on Yelp (and national outlets like the New York Times) have poured on the praise for All Square, so I won't rehash that, suffice it to say I fully support their mission. While grilled cheese might not be at the top of the list when it comes to dining out for me, All Square does make a mighty fine one. I have tried about a handful of them so far - sitting at the top of the list for me is the Havana (their riff on a Cubano sandwich) and the Jalapeno Popper. All sandwiches comes with a small salad and you can add on battered fries as well (which actually travel pretty well for takeout). Ordering is easy, prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly and again, you'd be hard-pressed to find a restaurant doing more to try to support its local community. read more

All Square is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go back! From the moment you walk in the door your greeted with friendly staff and a delicious aroma of fried bread and cheese. Every single sandwich looked amazing and I'm sad we could only try 3. We had the basil (which they make in house), apple and Brie, and a special they were having with sausage and cabbage. Every bite was soooo good. Also make sure you get the fries and some tomato soup. The fries are so crispy and perfectly seasoned. Now the timing wasn't perfect. My sister got her grilled cheese and was finished eating by the time I got mine, but we shared so it was ok. I was taking a sandwich to go and they offered to wait to make it until we were ready to leave so it would be fresh. It's a small space with only a few tables and some bar seating, but if you have to wait it's definitely worth it. I can't wait to go back because I need to try the dessert grilled cheese. read more

This place is just so awesome. The staff is super friendly and I love the concept of "craft" grilled cheese. We went with a classic grilled cheese with gazpacho and the apple and brie grilled cheese. We visited during Covid-19, and felt pretty safe with the safety measures in place. While we waited for our food, we were able to read all of the informative graphics they have hanging on their wall, related to the organization's mission of empowering formerly incarcerated individuals. They had a particularly interesting graph about how investing in such programs benefits our society as a whole (see pictures). I also loved that the sandwiches were actually really light and not super greasy/indulgent. I left feeling satisfied without feeling weight down and heavy like I usually do with restaurant grilled cheeses. read more
