Latte
Jami W.

Brought my mom to brunch while she was in town and sat at the bar. The service was a little slow, but the food made up for it. I had a latte and the avocado toast and my mom had the traditional breakfast. The avocado toast was unique and tasty - but pretty small. My mom enjoyed her breakfast - most notably the bacon and toast. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned very well. The overall ambience is very cute inside. I have and would go back to try more items and to go for dinner.

I really like Lynette. It has quickly become one of my go to breakfast/lunch places when I'm in a pinch or looking for a reliable place to eat. Parking is limited to the street, but I've never had to walk more than half a block. Food wise, I love the harvest danish (though all of the their pastries are good and I believe are made in house? Someone correct me if I'm wrong). The breakfast sandwich is also stellar. Service wise, this place has been great 9 times out of 10. I had a long wait for food once on a weekend, but oh well. Not that big of a deal. They have a large patio for the summer which is lovely -- as is the interior -- love the large booths!

Returned to Lynette for brunch following a not so pleasant first experience this summer where I felt compelled to address and did in my initial review. Following that review I was contacted by the GM and offered a chance to return with a complimentary gift card. Today,I finally returned to use said gift card and to enjoy a nice neighborhood brunch with my family. Contrary to my previous visit we were pleasantly welcomed and led right to our table. Our server Austin was relaxed but attentive and wasn't afraid to give his opinion on the brunch menu (which is always welcomed by me). It was also lovely to see that the staff had become more diverse since my first visit there. Service this time around felt more like a team working together to ensure a great experience is had by all. And Billie who appeared to be a manager was a breath of fresh air and stepped in when Austin was busy with the other tables in our seating area. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food but agreed we would want it seasoned more generously. Missed pictures of our apps that included the kale salad with peanut vinaigrette, duck fat fries and the Japanese tempura shrimp - favs of those were the duck fat fries w aioli and the tempura shrimp! We also got the dishes pictured below. Very enjoyable and delicious! We live in the neighborhood and hope they dial the seasoning up some but definitely plan to return!

Lynette has the perfect vibe for a neighbor restaurant. It is casual enough that families with young kids, groups of friends, and couples having a date night all feel welcome. The menu was interesting, there are a large variety of cuisines represented across the dishes. Our meal ranged from Japanese inspired brussel sprouts to French inspired steamed mussels. The dishes were prepared well and and were all tasty. The server seemed busy, but did a good job coursing out our menu and checking in when they could. The soft serve ice cream cones for dessert were a fun touch!

Duck fat fries, kale salad, lamb meatball pizza all excellent! Don't skip the Brussels sprouts appetizer.

With easy reservations and a few big tables, this spot is a reliable brunch option for bigger groups. Especially if you want to get boozy or not because they have plenty of NA options too. Expect excellent service and delicious food options.

I went to Lynette in Minneapolis for a She's Invited brunch event, and it was such a fun and memorable experience. The vibe was stylish but comfortable, and our server Wayne made it even better ,he had fantastic recommendations and a fun, bubbly personality that really elevated the brunch. The drinks were a highlight the dirty martini was delicious and perfectly curated, with blue cheese stuffed olives that were the perfect touch. I also tried the Aperol Spritz, which was just okay compared to the martini, but still refreshing. For food, I had the avocado toast with over easy eggs. The flavors were great and the eggs were cooked perfectly, but the avocados weren't quite ripe enough, which threw off the texture a bit. Even so, the dish was still super tasty and satisfying. Overall, Lynette is a gem in Minneapolis between the excellent brunch cocktails, flavorful dishes, and Wayne's amazing service, I'd definitely come back (especially for that martini!).

Great little neighborhood spot. Great food amazing service. Small so make a reservation. Save room for an ice cream cone.

Avocado wrap - A white plate holds a cut wrap filled with meat and vegetables, accompanied by a side of mixed greens and a small black cup of sauce. The plate is on a wooden table in a restaurant setting, with utensils, a glass of water, and a napkin visible nearby.

A good place to have some good food and drinks with friends or family. Service was a bit slow as they were full but it's worth the wait as long as you're not in a hurry. They have indoor and outdoor seating, street parking, and a flower or plant store across the street. A good place with a nice modern interior for casual dining.

My partner and I had a delightful dinner at Lynette on a Sunday evening. We didn't make reservations and they were able to accommodate us. Our server was kind and attentive. The meal was delicious and our dishes had some kick. We were doing some business planning and the atmosphere was perfect - not too loud, not too bright or too dark, and overall good vibes. The wine selection was also lovely - I enjoyed the sparkling rose and a glass of La Patience.

Breakfast sandwich - A breakfast sandwich featuring toasted bread with a filling of greens and melted cheese is placed on a plate. Next to the sandwich, there is a side salad composed of mixed leafy greens. The plate is set on a table with glasses and other items visible in the background.

First time here so would definitely recommend giving it a couple more tries. Ambiance very nice, staff friendly, plenty of space for small or large groups. I just happened to pick the wrong thing off the menu. My partner had traditional breakfast which he always likes. Over medium eggs perfect, bacon cooked well, potatoes good but slightly overcooked. I picked the breakfast sandwich. I love a good breakfast sandwich (my favorite). Unfortunately this one failed. The bread it came on was like soggy French toast, way over buttery. The pesto was tasteless, and the tomato jam was way too sweet and overpowered the sandwich flavor. The arugula was mushy soggy because of too much butter and jam. I ended up trying to scrape everything off and just eat the egg and bacon. Better luck next time, but do give it a try. There's many more items on the menu. I will try again, maybe happy hour. The bar seating is very welcoming with cushion chairs and they do have great outdoor patio.

A bowl of dessert featuring a baked topping and a swirl of whipped cream on top is placed on a black plate on a wooden table. A napkin is underneath the bowl. In the background, a person is holding a small glass of red wine, with their hand visible. The person is wearing a patterned sweater. The setting appears to be a restaurant or café.

Lynette is the rare combination of high brow food in a comfortable atmosphere. The price point is a bit higher and the food matches the expectations that sets forth, but there is nothing snobby about Lynette's service or ambiance. First, their cocktail and mocktail lists are fantastic. Gone are the days of mocktails being sofa water with a splash of orange juice for $20 - these are real deal fun. They also have THC seltzers which I always love to see. The entrees are meant for the table and perfect for splitting or sharing family style. While the short rib and crab risotto were both fantastic, the roasted broccoli was actually the star of the show for us. And the apple crumble dessert came with a UNIT of ice cream. Their happy hour is also fantastic, perfect to sit at the bar with a burger and fuck fat fries. Overall, we love Lynette's whether it's for a nice date night or a quick happy hour bite. We have yet to try their brunch but you can bet it's next on our list.

First visit to Lynette and we loved it. Its bright, open airy vibe brought energy to the patrons. I'm glad we secured a reservation as it was quite busy on a Thursday early evening. We were immediately seated at a nice window table, overlooking the patio to be used on warmer days and nights. For dinner, our server encouraged us to share. We opted for the broccoli, panko shrimp, and short ribs. All were cooked perfectly. The broccoli had a nice spicy bite to it tempered by blue cheese and curiously added puffed rice. The panko shrimp were huge, with 2 pieces for each of us. The sauce with these seemed to have a cucumber base and it was very good. The short ribs were super tender and deliciously served with a tamale. Our server was excellent. She made great suggestions and allowed us a nice leisurely pace. Parking was on street, although they do have a small lot in back. Great stop!!

Had to check out Lynette for the pizza and Korean wings

When I opened the food at home, I was disappointed. I ordered the homemade vinegar chips to find just plain chips. What? This was one of the standouts when Triple D aired for this joint. I double checked their website, and sure enough, just plain chips now. Dang. Well that was in me. What wasn't on me was the horrible pale looking limp fries. I literally live 5 minutes away, but the fries were cold and limp. Even putting them in the air fryer didn't help. The chicken sandwich I got for the kid was dry, and also came with the sad limp fries. The wife's CCC burger looked pretty good though, but we had to throw the fries away. My dry rub wings were the only saving Grace of the entire meal. Sad. Won't be eating here again.

We came in to do a little day drinking, play some pull-tabs and eat some food. First and foremost, winning a couple hundred in pull-tabs already makes this a fun place to hang...actually it would have been fun regardless. The food fare is your standard bar food, however they do serve breakfast, and the entrees I saw people woofing down, I'd hit this place up for breakfast. We opted to order the pork tenderloin and the sour cream and onion burger. Both were served on toast; the tenderloin on whole wheat with pickles and onions (you need to ask for onions) with a sizable breaded tenderloin. If you want a side I.e. coleslaw, cottage cheese, tots, French fries you need to order with your sandwich. The burger served on pumpernickel had fried onions on it with the sour cream. I had a view of the streetside windows and the dining room. Music was at a pleasant low volume in the background--we had no trouble talking and listening to each other. Our server, Lali, took good care of us. We were never left wanting and empty dishes were cleared promptly. Everything came out at an ideal pace, too. My husband had a beer from on tap. I was very happy that they had a couple kinds of cider, so I had one from Minneapolis Cider. We ordered poutine as our appetizer. It was fantastic, and a massive serving! My husband had the brisket philly for his entree; brisket is one of those meat cuts that is tricky to get right, as it easily gets too dry, but the cook absolutely perfected it.
