Everyone took time to chat with us while assisting. Food. First off, they had a solid happy hour menu that you could get anywhere in the restaUrant. We got the calamari, wings, and fish taco. All were a nice portion size and full of flavor. For entrees we had the shrimp and grits, arugula salad, risotto, black bean burger, and spaghetti squash Mac and cheese. I stopped here randomly while running errands. It was happy hour so I had their happy hour oyster sliders, mussels, and burger slider. It was pretty good but a little basic. This is a solid place to come to if you are looking for a nice place to grab dinner. The decor is classy and the ambiance is nice. My friend and I went during dinner last night and we both got the same dishes and drinks. We got the fish and chips. It came with a coleslaw and sauces. The fish was fried perfectly. It was perfectly battered and crispy enough. It came with a side order of fries. If you check into YELP you get a free dish of chickpea fries with a avocado dipping sauce. OMG! This thing was amazing. It was perfectly seasoned and crispy. Their drinks were good too! The service was great and our waiter was so friendly and polite. I absolutely fell in love with the decor and setup of the space when I first walked in. The bar is awesome with a huge selection and the nautical theme is all throughout the restaurant. The hostess was friendly and sat out large group down super quick. Our waitress came and let us know about the happy hour specials and a few other specials the restaurant had. I had the tropical punch (a white mango sangria with tequila) and it was delicious. I also tried the chickpea fries (thanks to a Yelp check-in offer) and while I didn't really know what to expect, I enjoyed them but the avocado lime dip was rather bland and didn't really do too much for me. The menu had allllll sorts of things from steak to seafood to burgers, so there's somethin for everyone. My friend recommended the lobster roll so of course I had to try it and I was not disappointed. I opted for the lobster with butter roll and the it was fullllll of lobster and the roll itself was slightly toasted. The lobster was fresh and seasoned well and although it was a little out of my budget, it was worth the splurge. This was my second stop for food while visiting Maryland and I must say I was impressed. My friend spoke very highly of the restaurant and couldn't wait to take us here for happy hour (which is from 3:30 to 6:30 on Fridays...not sure about the other days and times). I've been a yelp elite for three years and I honestly rarely complain. Please check my other reviews to compare but I SINCERELY REGRET COMING TO THIS PLACE. WORST FOOD EVER. NO SEASONING. I don't like being rude so I did not send our food back but I did mention to the waitress that our food was bland and maybe the chef was having an off day. We were waiting for an outside table and they "forgot" to put our name on the list. We waited and saw several people seated ahead of us who came after us. We came here for a 6.30 Saturday dinner before a movie at the Silver. Take note that a reservation was necessary at that time. It's American food with a nautical theme, ropes everywhere and blue booths. Very nice decor, though not quite date night nice. We had the fish and chips and the espresso ribeye, but before those even came they brought us a free glass of prosecco! How nice. It wasn't even an occasion other than movie night, but it made the dinner feel extra special. It's a bit pricey for quality and atmosphere, but it's right around the corner from the movie theater or The Fillmore, so if you can get a seat, it's an ideal pre-show location. I had the pleasure of popping in here the day of my father's procedure in the attached office building. My server, Valerie, was friendly, professional, and hilarious. I caught her singing to multiple songs that played over the loud speaker. She shared with me she is a jazz singer and performs in multiple local establishments. The other staff were great as well. I took my mom here for her birthday and we were more than pleased. Although they were busy the host was so upbeat and friendly. He fulfilled our seating request and actually came back at the end of our meal to wish my mom a happy birthday! Now here is what y'all are looking for... the food! I came here with some girlfriends on a Thursday night for happy hour and food. And what can I say, the service, food and ambiance was great! I checked-in and was given a free plate of their chickpea fries which were sooo good and guilt free lol. The wine and cocktails are only $5 and $6 during happy hour so my friend and I started off with a glass of some French Rose but neither of us was a fan of the taste. We both asked if we could exchange our drinks and the waitress did it without a problem and we weren't charged for it at the end. I had the the fish tacos and the fried oyster sliders which were both really tasty. The fish taco is fried and comes with slaw and a avocado lime ranch dressing which I enjoyed! I visited All sets on a Saturday for one of my friends birthday dinner. I've rode past a view times but never thought to stop by. There is available parking on the street also a parking garage available. Getting there was literally moving through as sea of people due to concert that was taking place at the Filmore. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, there are nice light fixtures on the wall as well as the cutest toilet paper display in the women's restroom. It was very packed on a Saturday night , we waited about 15 minutes for our reservations. The food was ok but not anything I would be in a rush to try again . I ordered the trout and a house salad , honestly out of the 2 dishes the house salad was the best . We also ha the short ribs , crab cakes , mac and cheese and shrimp/polenta . The short ribs were delicious the meat was very tender and the sauce omg, the crab cakes we full of meat not much filler which is always a plus , the shrimp were a nice size and cooked perfectly paired very well with the polenta and tomato based sauce . The decor of All Set is gorgeous and the outdoor seating with heaters is a huge plus. We had the $2 half dozen happy hour oysters, fish tacos, mussels, ribs, crab Mac and cheese, and fried Oreos. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the crab Mac and cheese which was so incredibly flavorful. The Campanelle was a nice departure from the usual shells/elbows that are typically used for Mac and cheese. I would have given 5 stars if the fish tacos had more sauce and were more flavorful. There was also a little mishap with our meal but they were very kind and courteous about it, so kudos to them for providing great service. Overall, this is definitely a great place to take people for both the food and ambiance. read more

I don't each chicken much either these days but I enjoyed the wings. Crab Mac and cheese - 7.5/10. I only took a few bites because I was so full from eating everything else. Definitely a shareable sized portion. Trout and crab meunière - 8/10. Very tasty. The sauce really made the dish. The veggies weren't seasoned as well as I would have liked but they were still good. Many people in my party are seafood fanatics, so it was a no brainer to give this place a shot. We made a last minute reservation and were seated right away. To our pleasant surprise it was happy hour when we arrived. They let us sample the punch of the day, but none of us were fans of the drink. So we ended up getting a Pretty In Pink and. Passion fruit For Redemption. Both sounded great, but we didn't really like either. The Passion fruit for redemption taste more like grapefruit, which I'm it a fan of at all. I wish I would have just saved the money and gotten a soft drink. I was told from another person in my party that the cherry coke is good! We all got a mixture of food options. Here is how they shook out: Good: Old bay wings, fries, surf and turf burger, and shrimp poboy, side salad (but know there is a $2 up charge to have the side salad instead of fries) Not so good: crab mac and cheese, fish from the fish and chips I will say that the service way good. I ordered eat in and take out at the same time. The menu mentions that they prefer customers limit their stays to 1.5 hours. They were responsible the entended stay. The clam chowder and fried shrimp were excellent. The to go order had the wrong side. The lobster roll was very good. My only observation is that they have a 20% minimum Tio. I don't believe this incentive's the staff to be quick. The time from seating to 1st contact and no refill on my drink as well as a delay with check once requested, does not represent the level of service equal to the status of this restaurant. read more

We had such a wonderful experience here today for brunch! My husband and I are new to Silver Spring and this was the first restaurant we tried. The service was great, from the hostess to busser, to our server Jacob, we really enjoyed everyone we encountered who was a part of our experience. Now onto the food.. It was great! We were so pleasantly surprised! To start we ordered the old bay wings, and the nutmeg muffins. Both great, but the wings were especially awesome! The skin was so flaky and crispy. My hubby even said "the best wings he's had in a very long time" #okurrr. Then we both had cups of the clam chowder which were very good too. I visited All Set on 7.23.22 and had a very great experience. My friend and I sat on the patio and enjoyed espresso martinis and appetizers (both the Old Bay wings and the chickpea fries were delicious). Our waiter, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, was very detail oriented and went the extra mile to make sure our experience was enjoyable. I was also very impressed with Megan; she too was very detail oriented and attentive. My friend and I opted to move to the bar from the patio once it got too warm. Megan was instrumental in helping us make the transition and she too went the extra mile to make sure our food and drinks made it safely inside. Well this review is long overdue, but better late than never! I visited All Set on a Monday evening around 7:30pm with a friend. Parking was easy, I don't follow instructions well so I parked a block away on the street {no charge, after 6pm}. They do have parking garages you can park in, not sure the price though. The atmosphere is cute, a dressy casual will suffice. My only grip would be there were flys/mosquitoes that tore my legs up! It was strange & very uncomfortable to deal with while seated INDOORS. The food was delicious: We started with the mussels. Good & garlicky! I had the crispy skin salmon with qunioa. The salmon was cooked perfectly & the skin was crispy just as advertised! It was a nice portion, but light and filling. My friend had a cup of clam chowder that came in the cutest glass cup. He didn't finish it, said he wasn't impressed. His entree was the trout crab meuniere. Now that, he finished! I snuck some of the crab meat & can personally say that is was tasty. With our meal we had a couple of glasses of the house malbec which was surprisingly a good choice. There's a 50/50 chance with house wines.
