We ordered the grilled shrimp, NY strip, and pasta. The grilled shrimp was my favorite in terms of flavor, but the portion was surprisingly small. The steak and pasta were decent, but nothing particularly memorable -- just good, not special. For the price point, I personally expect either generous portions or something truly outstanding in flavor. While everything was solid, it didn't feel special enough to make me want to come back. Made a trip to All Saints with some friends for restaurant week and we had a great time. The restaurant has a very cozy ambiance which we appreciated on a chilly October night. Our server was perfectly attentive, it was very obvious that they have their timing down pat for courses and check-ins which was super appreciated. As a group of four, we decided to get one of everything on the restaurant week menu and split it family style which turned out to be a great idea. All of the appetizers were good but the halloumi and beet appetizers were standouts of the entire meal. I don't even like beets but having a bite of golden beer and burrata in sauce was a game changer. While all of the main dishes were pretty good, I wasn't wildly impressed with the creativity or cooking of them which is basically the only reason I knocked down this review to four stars. The mushroom bolognese was probably my favorite but not outstanding. The steak was perfectly cooked to a medium rare but the cut of meat was tough and a bit unseasoned. The halibut was also cooked to perfection and probably the most inventive of the dishes but the sauce was simply too bitter at the end of the day. The desserts were delicious but the matcha panna cotta needed more matcha to pump up the flavor. Based on other reviews and word from friends, there are some all star recipes on the main menu (I see you cabbage steak) so we will definitely be back to catch that last star but for the pricing/reviews we expected a bit more inventive and high quality meals. This place was lively and energetic. The food was very good and the service was great. I ordered the golden beet salad and the fried chicken with honey harissa. The beets were very good, but my only critique would be the serrano vinegarette which was quite spicey overpowering the beets with a constant burn. I like very hot things but this could be dialed back a little. The chicken was quite good with a nice sweet/spicy flavor and perfectly fried. My bestie and I visited All Saints specifically for mission: dessert! We arrived a little after 8:30 PM and were greeted by the hostess who asked if we had a reservation. We kinda looked at each other because... the place was not busy at all (just one table dining and a couple people at the bar). We would've made guests 5 and 6. Our waitress brought over waters and menus, but then disappeared for a while before returning to take our order. When she came back, we decided to try a couple mocktails: Rosé and They Call Me Mellow Yellow. Both were solid, but Mellow Yellow (the one my bestie ordered) was my fav.... super refreshing and flavorful! We ordered the chocolate cake, which came out quickly and was presented nicely. It was decent. Light, not overly rich or chocolatey (which is more my style), but might not satisfy the hardcore chocolate lovers like myself. The mousse and crumble on the side looked pretty but didn't have any flavor.... I'd ask to skip those next time. Overall, not the best chocolate cake I've had, but not bad either. Service was fine. Nothing overly attentive, but we didn't feel neglected. The space itself feels cozy, like being in someone's (very stylish) home. Dim lighting and tasteful decor made it a chill spot to wind down. My first time at All Saints and I already want to head back. The restaurant itself is lovely, but I really appreciated the spacious outdoor eating area on a gorgeous night. Their wine and drink menu was interesting, but I was going nonalcoholic so order the G & T shrub. That was one of the best mock tails I have had at a restaurant. What I most appreciated is that the flavor stay strong from the top to the bottom. Often with cocktails and even some cocktails they get really watered down as you go on, but the flavor really came through. The use of the lemon grass really combined well with everything. I would order that drink again. We started off with the focaccia in the Halloumi as an appetizer. The focaccia was fine. My dining companion absolutely loved the butter that came with it. I adored the halloumi, it combined so well with the ginger lime vinaigrette. My only wish is that when presenting it, the server should have repeated what was on each dish because I just couldn't remember from the menu and it wasn't exactly obvious. We shared the scallops as a main course. I thought the scallops were well cooked, but the carrot hummus was an interesting flavor choice. I'm not sure I would put that together, but overall, it was good. The menu here looks fantastic. We held a gathering for a large group at All Saints and they did a wonderful job! We were hoping to enjoy their lovely patio, but it rained, so we were inside. The staff was great with taking the reservation for the event and how we wanted the tables set up. We had a selection of delicious appetizers, including the Halloumi with jicama, fried mushrooms, sliders, shrimp, Golden Beets, Fried Chicken with harissa honey, French Fries and Short Ribs. For me the standouts were the Salt & Pepper Mushrooms with scallion dip and the fried chicken. I am not usually a big mushroom person, but I could not stop eating these. I wish I could have them as a snack every dya, they were THAT good. The fried chicken was also deliciously crispy but moist and flavorful. And everything was delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. Perfect plates sizes not small plates, but not large plates to where you end up in a food coma. The foccia with charred scallions butter was a great way start the meal. The golden beets, which I've never had before were amazing. They melted in your mouth, I love burrata and I have to say these beets could of stood alone. Zucchini panzanella, home run. Wow I cannot stop talking about All Saints! Been coming for a few years now and tell everybody I know to come!! I typically make a reservation but walk-ins are also available (but may have a wait if it's a busy time). The staff are very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about the menu items. Absolutely nothing I dislike at All Saints! Everything is excellent every time I've come! The highlights I regularly order are the duck confit, salt and pepper mushrooms, spicy fried chicken, and the chocolate cake. Absolutely must get the chocolate cake!! Sat at the bar and enjoyed this restaurant quite a bit. Foccacia was very nice and hearty. Charred scallions butter was different but it worked. Pea panna cotta was my least favorite dish. Didn't expect the panna cotta to be that sweet. And the crab didn't seem high quality. Besides that, the gnuddi and the duck confit were the stars of the show. Hard to not like duck cooked in it's own fat. Service at the bar was decent but reserved. Bartender was fairly busy making drinks and didn't chat much. But service was good. Omg, run don't walk to all saints! I can't believe I've slept on this restaurant. First, it was a perfect weather night and we got to sit on the patio. Despite being right on Hennepin, the patio had a quiet and intimate feel. The food was amazing. We tried focaccia (the green onion butter was amazing), grilled salad, broccolini, crudo, salt and pepper mushrooms, kale toast, and spaghetti all a chitarra (I feel like I'm missing a few things!) The spaghetti ala chitarra was def a home run! The kale toast was suprisingly delicious as well and we were all surprised by it! I'm a broccolini girl and the sauce was flavorful. Immediately, the restaurant is super cute & cozy, with low lighting (maybe a little too low for some), comfy seating/benches, & friendly staff. We started out with a couple of cocktails: --I got the Saturnalia, which came with a sparkling wine back, & it was DELICIOUS. Like I want to make this at home. The sparkling wine snit was a perfect touch, as it really balanced out the cocktail. --My husband got the Amalfi Spritz, & it was also super tasty. It's light & refreshing, a perfect summer drink! For food, we ordered a few things to share: --Zucchini Panzanella: This was fresh, light, & delicious. Like a Caesar salad, but add zucchini. I loved it! --Roasted Carrots: The carrots were so perfectly cooked & caramelized, served with a fun grain & super tasty sauce. I could've eaten a whole plate by myself. --Cabbage "Steak" Special?: I'm not sure exactly how to describe this; it was a thick cut "steak" made of cabbage, served with lox on top, some mustard, herbs, & other magic. It was seriously divine, one of my favorite dishes I've ever eaten. I have no idea how to recreate this, but I want to so badly. We came here for Restaurant week and were blown away! Everything we had was outstanding. They had some wine varietals we had never heard of but our waiter did a great job explaining them and we got exactly what we liked. We started with the golden beets and shrimp appetizers. The golden beets were served cold but had beautiful color and flavor. The shrimp were definitely spicier than I expected but my husband loved them. He got the New York Strip and it was cooked beautifully in medallions with delicious potatoes. However I think the standout dish really was the halibut. The crust on the fish was so phenomenal coupled with the sauce - it was out of this world. For dessert - I had assumed the chocolate cake would be the best but it really missed the mark for me. Instead I really enjoyed the matcha panna cotta with freeze dried strawberries and oats - it had a great texture and flavor. The most unfortunate thing of the night is nearby construction shut off the water forcing them to close early and limiting the availability of certain drinks (tea, etc.) but we will most definitely be back! read more

A very simple quaint little bar that is more food oriented. They have some small plates that are great for sharing. We started with the salt and pepper mushrooms and the golden beets. The beets had wonderful bursts of sweet vinaigrette flavor. The mushrooms had great crunchy flavor but had a spicey twang to them that made our lips tingle. The scallion dip helped cool it down. The fried chicken was really tasty! A very simple dish yet really good fried chicken and sweet honey. The branzino was decent. Not amazing by any means but the sauce was really tasty. Came here on Saturday night with a few people and I was pretty impressed. The inside was not super busy and while it was a hot, humid evening, we had really set out to have a few drinks and apps on a patio.. so that is what we did. We waited for just a few minutes and then we ended up getting sat outside. We ordered a few drinks and they came out pretty promptly. Worth noting that they do not have Hennessey or Casamigos, but there were a lot of other good options available that made it all work out just fine. We ordered the himachi crudo (yellowtail).. it was pretty good, in my opinion could have been served slightly colder, but it was fine for what it was. We got the grilled shrimp but we got the sauce on the side because that sauce is SPICY lol. We also ordered some fries, they were nice and crispy and salted perfectly. We got the burger.. we had heard rave reviews about the burger... while it was good it was quite barren in terms of toppings... just worth noting. We also got the breaded halibut which was actually my favorite item of the evening. The breading was perfectly crunchy and crispy and the fish was cooked to perfection. We had a good waiter, he was timely, helpful, easy to talk to and made the experience just that much better. There were a couple of other items on the menu that I would like to try, so may consider going back here at some point. read more

Started with the Framboise Spritz, which I enjoyed. Definitely stronger than I thought it would be - just what I needed after a long day at a conference! It was smooth and refreshing, and the raspberry and peach bitters came through nicely. For my meal I got the Steelhead Tartare, which came with Old Bay waffle chips. This dish was so good! The salmon was super fresh and I liked the addition of the dill cream. With the chips, which was a little saltier than I'd like, so good! For my night cap I got the Saturnalia, which was essentially two drinks in one. This was my first time having this drink and I definitely have it again. What a gem in Minneapolis! I was visiting Minnesota, and my local friend reserved a table for us at All Saints. This spot exceeded my expectations! The outdoor patio is adorable and I appreciated the kindness of the staff. The food and drinks were spectacular, with the asparagus and beet salad being one of my favorite options. Each dish is very unique to the restaurant, so the asparagus and beets were nothing like I've had before. They also have a complete vegetarian menu. Dinner at All Saints was very good, and the bar was enjoyable. It's the best restaurant in the Northeast corridor of Hennepin. Service at the bar was fun, and All Saints has a serious cocktail program. The word "great" never came to mind, but that should be reserved for the few. We didn't care much about the grilled spring peas, but I found the salt cod fritter delicious, with a nice crispiness. The Swordfish was bland and not reminiscent of a swordfish steak. However, the duck confit was scrumptious. I wanted it crisper, but the duck confit in Paris has spoiled me. All Saint's decor provides a sense of space, and the outdoor patio, abutting against the patio of the next-door pizza joint, provides excellent people-watching. I recognized the building as the former home of Doug Flicker's Auriga, but the interior has no resemblance. All Saints is a cool restaurant. read more

For this visit, I enjoyed some cocktails with my lovely wife at the bar. The bartender that served us was ace when it came to creating some crafty cocktails that resonated with us on many levels. The Negroni Fresco with citrus gin blend, gentian, mandarin, yuzu bitters, and blanc vermouth was Incredibly refreshing and well crafted. The Rhuby Sipper was also delightful with blanco tequila, rose, clarified strawberry, rhubarb, vanilla, lemon, graham cracker, cinnamon. When my friend asked if I wanted to go to a veggie-forward restaurant, it was an immediate yes for me, lol. As a pescatarian who's also dairy-free, I rely heavily on vegetables, so this was right up my alley. We had reservations and waited a bit for our table to be cleaned, but we were seated in a cozy corner along the wall. I really appreciated that touch of privacy--it made the experience feel more personal. The restaurant was dim but not overly dark, which created a nice atmosphere. The food was perfect. I loved both of my dishes and the wine. Our server was engaging and chatted with my friend about tattoos, which added a fun and personal touch. We weren't checked in on much and when our server was taking our orders and such it was always for about 30 sec-1 min. He was WORKING though and always seemed to be busy. We just often felt kind of neglected. We got the focaccia, salt and pepper mushrooms, fried chicken, salt and pepper mushrooms, garganelli, and broccolini then split the cake for dessert. I got the spritz for a drink as well. The hits: -Spritz drink: reasonably priced, refreshing, and perfect for the slightly warmer weather. Would recommend. -Focaccia: a nice starter. The butter may have been slightly over seasoned but it was hard to tell because it might've been lingering taste from the mushrooms -Garganelli: nice chew to the pasta and good flavor. A good shareable -Broccolini: stunning, flavorful, and fresh The misses: -Salt and pepper mushrooms: I was so excited for these because there were so many reviews but they were so over seasoned that they left like a crackling numb sensation on my tongue -Fried Chicken: Fine but nothing special about it. Had a wonder time at All Saints for restaurant week! We sat on their patio (had great weather). Very beautiful set up. We started with a round of cocktails -- I got the Old Saint (old fashioned), which was very booze forward but very good -- and then we did the prix fixe dinner option for restaurant week. All the portions were regular size(!), and so this ended up being a great deal. For the entrees, each of us got something different, so we were able to taste the halloumi, golden beets, and fried mushrooms. The halloumi had a nice crisp crust and milder cheese flavor (not strong); the golden beets were less earthy than other beets I've had, which I appreciated, and sweeter in flavor (pairing perfectly with the burrata); and the mushrooms were very flavorful (salt and pepper with a scallion dip). We got a side order of fries as well, but really didn't need more food. The appetizer portions were great. For entrees, we all ended up ordering the NY strip with fingerling potatoes and split a bottle of wine (South African Cabernet, at the server's recommendation). The steak was delicious; the potatoes were good, but I preferred the fries over the potatoes, honestly. For dessert, I got the panacotta. Sweet, tangy, and very light! Would definitely recommend! I came here ready to say something revolutionary about the salt and pepper mushrooms, but it seems everyone already knows about them. These are irreplicable and a must order. Per our server, they've upped the ante on Szechuan peppercorn in the sauce, with a numbingly delicious lingering taste. The halloumi app is wonderfully refreshing with light greens and dressing atop the hearty cheese. Enjoyed a fresh pasta and densely flavorful scallops as our mains. This filled us right up, but would have liked to try the chocolate cake! I visited All Saints for an early birthday dinner with my mom and it did not disappoint! We had been recommended here by some friends since my mom has some dietary restrictions (GF and pescatarian), and their menu is definitely special diet friendly! They truly are veggie forward but meat friendly! From the time we got there, everyone was super nice and helpful, giving us multiple recommendations and tips for the menu when we were stuck on what to order. The vibe here is super fun as well, nice mood lighting and a welcoming open concept floor plan lit by candles. For food, we ordered 5 small plates between 2 of us and it was the perfect amount, we both left full and happy. Our absolute standout favorite dish of the night was the golden beet salad! It was so fresh and the flavors were perfectly balanced between the beets & veg and the smoked trout. A close second were the salt & pepper mushrooms, the scallion sesame sauce on the side paired perfectly with the mushrooms. They were so similar to salt & pepper squid in texture it was crazy! The broccolini we also loved, it was super Smokey and tender with an interesting sweet/acidic bite. The swordfish was the only plate we wouldn't order again, even though we both enjoyed it we agreed it wasn't as outstanding as the other plates. For drinks, we started with the Odyssey & Oracle and my mom declared it was the best cocktail she's ever had! Super light and fresh and kind of reminiscent of a fruit snack. We ended the night with a cappuccino and a slice of their chocolate cake to celebrate. Overall I definitely recommend this spot for a fresh and new take on some classic dishes! read more

Well-appointed restaurant with good service. However, there is nothing vegetable-forward about this place any more than any other American-style restaurant. The food is generally average even though All Saints has a string reputation. Long story short, I would not return. read more

Came to all saints for restaurant week Feb 2024! We shared the shrimp skewers (lots of spice, good texture, comes with 6 shrimp) and the mushrooms with dip dip (large quantity on mushrooms and good sauce). Foe the main, I had the New York strip and smashed potatoes. The sauce was think and incredible, red wine tasting! The potatoes were both crunchy and soft. Service was good! The only negative is that they had so many tables that it was a bit cramped trying to get around the restaurant. read more
