Came to All Saints for a birthday dinner and absolutely loved our experience! Not only is the restaurant space really nice and upscale, but the food and service were great! Their menu is veggie forward but still have meat options to appease everyone's preferences. I absolutely loved the menu and all of the vegetarian options. Even the meat eaters at our table enjoyed each dish! A lot of their items are shareable which is nice so we split some smaller dishes and then each of us also had a plate of our own which we found worked well. The halloumi was absolutely spectacular. The vinaigrette on it in combination in contrast with the hazelnuts was great. I definitely recommend as this was a big crowd pleaser. The salt and pepper mushrooms were also really tasty. The pepper comes through really strong. I really loved my kansui fettuccini. It was a bit spicy and such a unique flavor profile. The pasta was fresh and the dish was really filling. We visited All Saints for the first time during Restaurant Week and we'll definitely be back. In another life I've worked in a number of restaurants at varying price points and the food quality & presentation were top tier level at affordable pricing. Hamacho crudo was Excellent, and the charred focaccia most enjoyable. I would have used fresh finely minced chive instead of scallion but I'm picky re. texture. Had to check the menu the next day to assure myself that the bolognese was meat free. Was it? :). I mentioned to the staff that finely sliced & sauteed mushroom added to the fine smooth sauce would have added a welcome additional texture to the noodle & parmesan. It should be noted that this is the very first review in decades that I've felt had to be made. The staff was very accommodating vis a vis shifting reservation time as my dining partner was delayed. I was sated & had the chocolate cake boxed, so can only say it looked beautiful. The only nitpick: it was hot, but not uncomfortably so on the patio which felt private even though E. Hennepin traffic was steps away, but I had to ask for ice water. Is that a thing these days? Another restaurant we visited served water without ice. If so, it would be best to prechill. One other offering: bring the pappardelle undressed and offer either grated or shaved parmesan... I would have preferred shaved to get a bigger dose of its 'bite'. read more

We dined here Friday night in the early evening and it was already busy but it was also restaurant week. Overall it was a nice dining experience. Food: My favorite entree was the NY strip and the fish entree was decent as well. The golden beets and burrata had amazing flavors and really stood out. The crudo looked good but tasted a little fishy unfortunately. The spritz cocktail with limoncello was fantastic. The service was pretty quick even though it was busy. The prices were good too. We found street parking pretty easily. There are more menu items I'd like to try and their patio looked nice but it was over 90 degrees outside so we sat inside. I would definitely recommend this spot for a date night. And it's convenient if you are doing the Guthrie afterwards. read more

Overall, we had a great experience! The space is beautiful, although it felt a little cramped and got warm as it got busier. We visited during Restaurant Week and the food was incredible. I had the golden beets, pappardelle, and the sweet corn pot de crème. Grabbed dinner here after work. It was quite busy when we arrived and we waited a few minutes after checking in at the front before being taken to our table. The service was friendly and helpful. The lady helping our table was patient as we chose what to order and gave us some good tips. Got the duck confit for myself and some smaller dishes to share with the table. The duck confit was quite nice and I also enjoyed the sides as well - particularly the carrots. Cute spot with plenty of tables just a short drive from downtown. super good focaccia and the best bolognese i've ever had and it just happened to be vegetarian. so yummy and super filling! the duck and bitter greens were also quite yummy. we came on a Tuesday evening and it was quite packed but with our reservation we were able to get a table inside. good seating but if it's good weather and you can get patio seating, do that instead. we were able to move before our entrees came out and enjoyed our time outside way better. all the waitresses kept our glasses filled the whole time and our personal waitress gave great recommendations. great price for great quality food! read more

Honest & Balanced (3.5/5 vibe) I'd give this place about a 3.5/5. The space itself is warm and beautiful -- perfect for a cozy family gathering or a date night. The ambiance definitely stands out. We ordered the grilled shrimp, NY strip, and pasta. The grilled shrimp was my favorite in terms of flavor, but the portion was surprisingly small. The steak and pasta were decent, but nothing particularly memorable -- just good, not special. For the price point, I personally expect either generous portions or something truly outstanding in flavor. While everything was solid, it didn't feel special enough to make me want to come back. Made a reservation for 6pm on a Wednesday night. Parking is pretty tricky in the area, but I did find a parking ramp that wasn't too expensive. Walking in to the restaurant, it's stunning. Classic, yet warm and welcoming. Our service was great and the server was super helpful in deciding which items to order. We started with cocktails and a few appetizers: salt and pepper mushrooms, soft shell crab and a salad. The salt and pepper mushrooms were good the first few bites and then the seasoning became super overpowering. They use Szechuan spice which bums your tongue and it was unbearable. Our server did take it off our bill, which was nice. For our main courses we tried the spaghetti and the trout. Overall, everything was just okay. It lacked flavor, depth, and portions were extremely small. I left feeling... unsatisfied and underwhelmed? Had high hopes but not sure this is a place I'll put in my rotation. read more

Made a trip to All Saints with some friends for restaurant week and we had a great time. The restaurant has a very cozy ambiance which we appreciated on a chilly October night. Our server was perfectly attentive, it was very obvious that they have their timing down pat for courses and check-ins which was super appreciated. As a group of four, we decided to get one of everything on the restaurant week menu and split it family style which turned out to be a great idea. All of the appetizers were good but the halloumi and beet appetizers were standouts of the entire meal. I don't even like beets but having a bite of golden beer and burrata in sauce was a game changer. While all of the main dishes were pretty good, I wasn't wildly impressed with the creativity or cooking of them which is basically the only reason I knocked down this review to four stars. The mushroom bolognese was probably my favorite but not outstanding. The steak was perfectly cooked to a medium rare but the cut of meat was tough and a bit unseasoned. The halibut was also cooked to perfection and probably the most inventive of the dishes but the sauce was simply too bitter at the end of the day. The desserts were delicious but the matcha panna cotta needed more matcha to pump up the flavor. Based on other reviews and word from friends, there are some all star recipes on the main menu (I see you cabbage steak) so we will definitely be back to catch that last star but for the pricing/reviews we expected a bit more inventive and high quality meals. My bestie and I visited All Saints specifically for mission: dessert! We arrived a little after 8:30 PM and were greeted by the hostess who asked if we had a reservation. We kinda looked at each other because... the place was not busy at all (just one table dining and a couple people at the bar). We would've made guests 5 and 6. Our waitress brought over waters and menus, but then disappeared for a while before returning to take our order. When she came back, we decided to try a couple mocktails: Rosé and They Call Me Mellow Yellow. Both were solid, but Mellow Yellow (the one my bestie ordered) was my fav.... super refreshing and flavorful! We ordered the chocolate cake, which came out quickly and was presented nicely. It was decent. Light, not overly rich or chocolatey (which is more my style), but might not satisfy the hardcore chocolate lovers like myself. The mousse and crumble on the side looked pretty but didn't have any flavor.... I'd ask to skip those next time. Overall, not the best chocolate cake I've had, but not bad either. Service was fine. Nothing overly attentive, but we didn't feel neglected. The space itself feels cozy, like being in someone's (very stylish) home. Dim lighting and tasteful decor made it a chill spot to wind down. My first time at All Saints and I already want to head back. The restaurant itself is lovely, but I really appreciated the spacious outdoor eating area on a gorgeous night. Their wine and drink menu was interesting, but I was going nonalcoholic so order the G & T shrub. That was one of the best mock tails I have had at a restaurant. What I most appreciated is that the flavor stay strong from the top to the bottom. Often with cocktails and even some cocktails they get really watered down as you go on, but the flavor really came through. The use of the lemon grass really combined well with everything. I would order that drink again. We started off with the focaccia in the Halloumi as an appetizer. The focaccia was fine. My dining companion absolutely loved the butter that came with it. I adored the halloumi, it combined so well with the ginger lime vinaigrette. My only wish is that when presenting it, the server should have repeated what was on each dish because I just couldn't remember from the menu and it wasn't exactly obvious. We shared the scallops as a main course. I thought the scallops were well cooked, but the carrot hummus was an interesting flavor choice. I'm not sure I would put that together, but overall, it was good. The menu here looks fantastic. We held a gathering for a large group at All Saints and they did a wonderful job! We were hoping to enjoy their lovely patio, but it rained, so we were inside. The staff was great with taking the reservation for the event and how we wanted the tables set up. We had a selection of delicious appetizers, including the Halloumi with jicama, fried mushrooms, sliders, shrimp, Golden Beets, Fried Chicken with harissa honey, French Fries and Short Ribs. For me the standouts were the Salt & Pepper Mushrooms with scallion dip and the fried chicken. I am not usually a big mushroom person, but I could not stop eating these. I wish I could have them as a snack every dya, they were THAT good. The fried chicken was also deliciously crispy but moist and flavorful. Loved it here from walking in to leaving. Small cozy establishment with great vibes. Service was great, food was even better. There mantra is vegetables with a side of meat. And everything was delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. Perfect plates sizes not small plates, but not large plates to where you end up in a food coma. The foccia with charred scallions butter was a great way start the meal. The golden beets, which I've never had before were amazing. They melted in your mouth, I love burrata and I have to say these beets could of stood alone. Zucchini panzanella, home run. The vegetables were so fresh and seasoned so well, throw in some bread, can't go wrong. Wow I cannot stop talking about All Saints! Been coming for a few years now and tell everybody I know to come!! I typically make a reservation but walk-ins are also available (but may have a wait if it's a busy time). The staff are very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about the menu items. Absolutely nothing I dislike at All Saints! Everything is excellent every time I've come! The highlights I regularly order are the duck confit, salt and pepper mushrooms, spicy fried chicken, and the chocolate cake. Absolutely must get the chocolate cake!! Also, you can see from some of my pictures the ambiance is gorgeous, fancy yet relaxed. Candles on every table. Beautiful archway upon entering. Sat at the bar and enjoyed this restaurant quite a bit. Foccacia was very nice and hearty. Charred scallions butter was different but it worked. Pea panna cotta was my least favorite dish. Didn't expect the panna cotta to be that sweet. And the crab didn't seem high quality. Besides that, the gnuddi and the duck confit were the stars of the show. Hard to not like duck cooked in it's own fat. Service at the bar was decent but reserved. Bartender was fairly busy making drinks and didn't chat much. But service was good. Omg, run don't walk to all saints! I can't believe I've slept on this restaurant. First, it was a perfect weather night and we got to sit on the patio. Despite being right on Hennepin, the patio had a quiet and intimate feel. The food was amazing. We tried focaccia (the green onion butter was amazing), grilled salad, broccolini, crudo, salt and pepper mushrooms, kale toast, and spaghetti all a chitarra (I feel like I'm missing a few things!) The spaghetti ala chitarra was def a home run! The kale toast was suprisingly delicious as well and we were all surprised by it! I'm a broccolini girl and the sauce was flavorful. Service was fine, maybe a little slow? But we were also in a rush to get to a comedy show and it was the first night their patio was open, nothing that would dissuade me from coming back! read more

Immediately, the restaurant is super cute & cozy, with low lighting (maybe a little too low for some), comfy seating/benches, & friendly staff. We started out with a couple of cocktails: --I got the Saturnalia, which came with a sparkling wine back, & it was DELICIOUS. Like I want to make this at home. The sparkling wine snit was a perfect touch, as it really balanced out the cocktail. --My husband got the Amalfi Spritz, & it was also super tasty. It's light & refreshing, a perfect summer drink! For food, we ordered a few things to share: --Zucchini Panzanella: This was fresh, light, & delicious. Like a Caesar salad, but add zucchini. I loved it! --Roasted Carrots: The carrots were so perfectly cooked & caramelized, served with a fun grain & super tasty sauce. I could've eaten a whole plate by myself. --Cabbage "Steak" Special?: I'm not sure exactly how to describe this; it was a thick cut "steak" made of cabbage, served with lox on top, some mustard, herbs, & other magic. It was seriously divine, one of my favorite dishes I've ever eaten. I have no idea how to recreate this, but I want to so badly. We came here for Restaurant week and were blown away! Everything we had was outstanding. They had some wine varietals we had never heard of but our waiter did a great job explaining them and we got exactly what we liked. We started with the golden beets and shrimp appetizers. The golden beets were served cold but had beautiful color and flavor. The shrimp were definitely spicier than I expected but my husband loved them. He got the New York Strip and it was cooked beautifully in medallions with delicious potatoes. However I think the standout dish really was the halibut. The crust on the fish was so phenomenal coupled with the sauce - it was out of this world. For dessert - I had assumed the chocolate cake would be the best but it really missed the mark for me. Instead I really enjoyed the matcha panna cotta with freeze dried strawberries and oats - it had a great texture and flavor. The most unfortunate thing of the night is nearby construction shut off the water forcing them to close early and limiting the availability of certain drinks (tea, etc.) but we will most definitely be back! read more

A very simple quaint little bar that is more food oriented. They have some small plates that are great for sharing. We started with the salt and pepper mushrooms and the golden beets. The beets had wonderful bursts of sweet vinaigrette flavor. The mushrooms had great crunchy flavor but had a spicey twang to them that made our lips tingle. The scallion dip helped cool it down. The fried chicken was really tasty! A very simple dish yet really good fried chicken and sweet honey. The branzino was decent. Not amazing by any means but the sauce was really tasty. Kind of tasted like a light gravy. Service was great (we were at the bar) and prices were fair. Parking isn't great in this area, it's all street parking. read more

Came here on Saturday night with a few people and I was pretty impressed. The inside was not super busy and while it was a hot, humid evening, we had really set out to have a few drinks and apps on a patio.. so that is what we did. We waited for just a few minutes and then we ended up getting sat outside. We ordered a few drinks and they came out pretty promptly. Worth noting that they do not have Hennessey or Casamigos, but there were a lot of other good options available that made it all work out just fine. We ordered the himachi crudo (yellowtail).. it was pretty good, in my opinion could have been served slightly colder, but it was fine for what it was. We got the grilled shrimp but we got the sauce on the side because that sauce is SPICY lol. We also ordered some fries, they were nice and crispy and salted perfectly. We got the burger.. we had heard rave reviews about the burger... while it was good it was quite barren in terms of toppings... just worth noting. We also got the breaded halibut which was actually my favorite item of the evening. The breading was perfectly crunchy and crispy and the fish was cooked to perfection. We had a good waiter, he was timely, helpful, easy to talk to and made the experience just that much better. There were a couple of other items on the menu that I would like to try, so may consider going back here at some point. read more

Started with the Framboise Spritz, which I enjoyed. Definitely stronger than I thought it would be - just what I needed after a long day at a conference! It was smooth and refreshing, and the raspberry and peach bitters came through nicely. For my meal I got the Steelhead Tartare, which came with Old Bay waffle chips. This dish was so good! The salmon was super fresh and I liked the addition of the dill cream. With the chips, which was a little saltier than I'd like, so good! For my night cap I got the Saturnalia, which was essentially two drinks in one. This was my first time having this drink and I definitely have it again. What a gem in Minneapolis! I was visiting Minnesota, and my local friend reserved a table for us at All Saints. This spot exceeded my expectations! The outdoor patio is adorable and I appreciated the kindness of the staff. The food and drinks were spectacular, with the asparagus and beet salad being one of my favorite options. Each dish is very unique to the restaurant, so the asparagus and beets were nothing like I've had before. They also have a complete vegetarian menu. Service at the bar was fun, and All Saints has a serious cocktail program. The word "great" never came to mind, but that should be reserved for the few. We didn't care much about the grilled spring peas, but I found the salt cod fritter delicious, with a nice crispiness. The Swordfish was bland and not reminiscent of a swordfish steak. However, the duck confit was scrumptious. I wanted it crisper, but the duck confit in Paris has spoiled me. All Saint's decor provides a sense of space, and the outdoor patio, abutting against the patio of the next-door pizza joint, provides excellent people-watching. I recognized the building as the former home of Doug Flicker's Auriga, but the interior has no resemblance. All Saints is a cool restaurant. read more

For this visit, I enjoyed some cocktails with my lovely wife at the bar. The bartender that served us was ace when it came to creating some crafty cocktails that resonated with us on many levels. The Negroni Fresco with citrus gin blend, gentian, mandarin, yuzu bitters, and blanc vermouth was Incredibly refreshing and well crafted. The Rhuby Sipper was also delightful with blanco tequila, rose, clarified strawberry, rhubarb, vanilla, lemon, graham cracker, cinnamon. We loved the sleek ambiance of the interior bar and restaurant area where we enjoyed the cocktails. I don't mean creating more vegetarian or vegan restaurants -- no, I love meat. But I also love vegetables and think more restaurants should give them the attention and space on the plate they deserve. We'd all be healthier for it. All Saints does just that, which is why I sought it out. Not only is it a beautiful space with wonderful service and fantastic fish and meat dishes -- but they have an incredible menu of vegetable dishes that even a meat-eater would appreciate. When my friend asked if I wanted to go to a veggie-forward restaurant, it was an immediate yes for me, lol. As a pescatarian who's also dairy-free, I rely heavily on vegetables, so this was right up my alley. We had reservations and waited a bit for our table to be cleaned, but we were seated in a cozy corner along the wall. I really appreciated that touch of privacy--it made the experience feel more personal. The restaurant was dim but not overly dark, which created a nice atmosphere. The food was perfect. I loved both of my dishes and the wine. Our server was engaging and chatted with my friend about tattoos, which added a fun and personal touch.
