If you have a car older than 2000, don't bother bringing it here unless you want to wait for 3 hours. Any diagnostic machine that takes 3 hours to calibrate is junk and should be replaced. I initially went in about an hour before they closed on a Saturday, and was informed the machine was not working any more for the day. No biggie, I kinda expected as much coming in so late. We made an appointment for 9 the following Monday. When I arrived, I was informed that the machine wouldn't be calibrated for another 3 hours. I just got my car smogged here. They were quick, they were affordable and they sent my certificate straight to DMV. They had excellent customer service from the time I walked in the door until the time I left. I recommend this place over many of the other places I've gone here in Tracy for a smog. I had a pretty good experience getting my truck smogged here. I was in and out within 40 minutes in the middle of the day on a Friday with just one person ahead of me at the time I walked in. I must have brought my truck in at just the right time because several people came in right after me and the wait quickly ballooned to over an hour. This is a quick and easy STAR approved smog test station. The staff is really friendly and they have reasonable prices. There is a deal via Yelp too which saves a few dollars too that I picked up. The deal doesn't apply to the certificate. read more

Fast and easy!! Just what I needed!! They took in my son's truck as soon as we pulled up. We got a smog check and it took about 20 minutes from pull in until we were in our way with the smog certificate! I highly recommend this shop for a smog check. read more

Great service and they were fast. I have a federal vehicle and took it to 2 different places that told me to drive the vehicle only to find out that the sticker was removed from under the hood. Needless to say that when I got there I explained to them the situation and they ran the vin# which my truck is obd1 and will not pass an obd2 inspection because of the year, model, and it's a heavy duty vehicle. Try them first and if they can't smog it they will tell you what actions to take on getting your vehicle smog ready. Keep in mind they are only a smog test only center, but they will tell you if your vehicle is ready before they even pull it into there bay. read more

Do not take your vehicle here. They are shady and unprofessional. I had a CHECK ENGINE light on my vehicle and he ran smog anyway?! I asked him why he claims he didn't see it. Which is basically impossible. Again they deserve NO STARS and deserve to be closed down. I will contacting Better Business Bureau regarding this business. read more

I went there to get my vehicle smogged. They said that their equipment was down and said that they would call me when it was up and running. A couple of days later, I got a message on my cell indicating that they were back up and running and that if I mentioned that my name was on the list, that they'd give me a discount for waiting. I went in this last Saturday, and true to their word, they not only gave my the "special" rate, but discounted my service even more! 20 minutes later, I was on my way with cert in hand for less money than I could have gotten it done anywhere else. Went in for a standard Smog check, ready with a mobile coupon which the website clearly states is accepted and was denied service for the coupon price. The cashier/service rep told me I had to return home and print out the coupon before returning the next day because my car would not be ready before closing time in an hour and a half. I was upset and disappointed, the official website clearly states the coupon is accepted on print or mobile format, but will return to attempt to use the printed coupon tomorrow. read more

Compared to Smog Tech in Manteca who wanted to charge me 79, and then 59 out the door....scammers. These guys are awesome. I actually found them here on yelp and went there because of the high ratings. They lived up to their stars. I went here around noon on a weekday and dropped the car off. I walked across the street to eat some sushi and browse around the Big Lots to kill some time and the car was done in about 45 minutes. They were really friendly and cost way less than the other places I've been to in Tracy. They actually have a special on here for $25 to get your car smogged. Bought it right in front of them and they honored it too. Fast, friendly, great price. Go there. read more

These guys make getting your car smogged an easy process. Shop is clean and environment is friendly. Took both my cars there and was in and out in around 15 minutes. As for the yelp deal.. Only issue I had was that it DID NOT cover the 8.25 certificate fee as some other yelpers had mentioned. Nevertheless, it was still a great deal and I would definitely recommend this shop. read more
