The smoke place is very well kept, and very nice and clean. They front desk was very attentive, professional. The smog test was only 10 minutes. The waiting area is air-conditioned with free waters and very clean. The prices are standard, 79 for the small test and nine dollars for the certificate, which is mandatory to buy. Needed a smog really quick after I bought a new car. I was able to walk in & get it done within 15 minutes. The office had no line, wheelchair accessible entry, chairs to sit, and even mini water bottles available. I was helped with quick & friendly service. I am wheelchair bound and when my car was done, I was offered help to load my wheelchair into my car! His kindness went above and beyond for me to make things simple and quick. I very rarely find businesses that will go accommodate basic needs of those that are disabled. I was extremely impressed and thankful. I will definitely be coming here for future smogs. read more

this guy is honest/nice , here is story - I brought my Chevy Cruze for a smog check, but it did not pass initially. I was charged X dollars and was told to drive approximately 100 to 110 miles to reset the code before returning. After driving as instructed, I came back for a second test. He checked the pre test codes and confirmed they were clear, it passed the smog test right after. read more

Called All Star Smog to check if they were able to do a Star Smog Check on my VE, owner Mike said I can stop by any time. I stopped there and I was in-n-out in 10 minutes, Smog Check done. Found All Star Smog via the DMVs directory of "Star Certified" smog test providers in Tracy. All Star Smog is the only one in Tracy, and I highly recommend! From start to finish, Mike (owner) was very helpful and easy to work with. I had to stop by multiple times because I has just gotten a new battery right before getting the smog test done for registration renewal, unfortunately when the battery gets disconnected it resets the OBD system log of engine and emissions system data. Took 3 separate visits and 100+ miles of driving for the data to show up again. Regardless, Mike was accommodating and super cool about checking for the data at each visit until the 3rd visit when finally the data could be read by his computer and run the test to send the "PASS" confirmation to the DMV. Highly recommend for friendly, professional, and cost-effective service! read more

Got my registration this year and saw it was time for smog check on my corolla. While driving to work one day I saw signs that we had a new smog shop close to home and I jumped on yelp to check them out. I agree with what everyone had said so far. It's super convenient and in a quiet industrial park and competitively priced too. I ended up making an appointment, but could of done walk in as well. Their website is simple and clean, and it was easy to book my appointment. Mike was professional and friendly, even had a nice conversation while the work was being done. I was in and out in around 10 minutes, basically able to complete it on a work break! I know where Ill be recommending to all my local friends from now on and will be back when smog is due again. You won't be disappointed with the service here! read more

They were super fast and very nice and professional. The whole process was really quick.

Owner Mike was very helpful as I failed my first inspection, which was my fault due to a faulty O2 sensor. Had it fixed and gave a fair and very reasonable discount on 2nd attempt, which my car passed. The car has 427k miles. Would highly recommend based on the service, price and most importantly the integrity of the owner. read more
