The waiting area is air-conditioned with free waters and very clean. The prices are standard, 79 for the small test and nine dollars for the certificate, which is mandatory to buy. Found All Star Smog via the DMVs directory of "Star Certified" smog test providers in Tracy. All Star Smog is the only one in Tracy, and I highly recommend! From start to finish, Mike (owner) was very helpful and easy to work with. I had to stop by multiple times because I has just gotten a new battery right before getting the smog test done for registration renewal, unfortunately when the battery gets disconnected it resets the OBD system log of engine and emissions system data. Took 3 separate visits and 100+ miles of driving for the data to show up again. Regardless, Mike was accommodating and super cool about checking for the data at each visit until the 3rd visit when finally the data could be read by his computer and run the test to send the "PASS" confirmation to the DMV.
