I have been visiting them for my cars in past and had no issue with the car it always passed on the first run every time. This year when I went for Smog had issues with Computers not reset on the Car and was told to drive 75 miles and bring it back, computer still was not ready. After 5 attempts and driving over 300 miles the computer was still not ready. They were so nice and helpful to let me bring my car after more times with over 800 miles from first day to 8th day and now the computer was ready and giving a code that was for Emissions issues, However the engine light was not on just the code. I drove more miles and took it back still just the code no light. This was 9th visit to them They directed me to take my car to a Muffler repair person to ensure proper diagnosis can be done for what is causing the computer to be slow and emissions codes showing up but no engine lights. Well exactly what my car needed someone who can look into the Emissions/exhaust system and fix it, it costed me a lot little over $1000 for the repairs as it was Catalytic Convertor that was causing computer system to act funny without engine lights being on, however after proper repairs were done I went back after driving 50 more miles and the car computer was showing ready and fair enough it passed. With me visiting them over 10 times in 2 weeks any other mechanic/Technician would have given up. However they were so friendly and nice to me and understood the pain I was going through. The customer service that was provided by All Smog Pro team was excellent with a great smile every time I visited them. Very Friendly and always smiling no matter what time you show up. Great place to get a smog. These guys had a waiting room full as I checked in I asked the guy at the counter how long is the wait he said about 45 mins I was in n out within 40 mins!! Quick, Fast, and Efficient! These guys had me in and out in no time. Called and made an appointment and when I came in it took no longer then 20 mins tops. They even electronically sent the smog paper work to the DMV for me. I would recommend this place to anyone. Clean facilities, good customer service, and short wait time. Overall a great experience. All Pro Smog is how getting your car smog tested should be. The staff is polite and friendly, and getting the car tested was a breeze! Went in, gave them my information and car key, and they took care of the rest! I went across the street, got some lunch, and by the time I finished eating, my car was all set to go! 2nd time I've used this place to get a smog test. Luckily the 2 times I went was when they were not busy at all. Technician performed the smog test and was put of there in about 20 minutes. What a waste of time!! I came to All Pro Smog to smog my car. Isaac, the guy running the office, told me the wait is about an hour. I told him it was ok. He then handed me a short form to fill out. I noticed the $3 TIRE INFLATION INSPECTION FEE on the form and asked him about it. Isaac told me "it is mandated by the state and other shops charge you the fee but don't tell you about it". Not knowing if that was fact or not, I went ahead and sign the form and sat down and waited. Let me mention that I came to the shop at around 3:45 pm. A couple of minutes after 5:00 pm, Isaac came in from the shop to inform me that it has been a hot day and the computer is now too hot to work! He told me it will not work until the next day for sure. When I asked him if I still have to wait when I come back the next day, he said "not if you are the first customer". I got upset and told him I will take my car and all my business from now on to another smog shop. Isaac told me that his shop is the only shop in Tracy who offers retest. I told him I don't need retest because I know my 8 year-old Infinity will pass. He looked me at said "that's what everyone says". Here are the facts; 1- You do NOT, and I repeat do NOT, have to have your tires inspected at any smog station. According to BAR's website, it is suggested to have it done while having your car smog. There is a BIG difference between suggestion (optional) and mandate (require)!!!! 2- All Pro Smog is NOT the only station in Tracy who offers retest. In fact, if you read their ad in the Penny Saver, it states that they offer retest for 15 days only. Whereas most of other stations offer 30 days retest. 3- Waiting for hours for a smog check is beyond ridiculous! There are other stations/shops in Tracy who accepts competitors's coupons with less than 45 minutes wait! AND other shops do NOT force you to pay the $3 tire inspection fee!! If you have to smog your car, don't waste your time on at All Pro Smog, where Isaac breaths hot air in your face, make you wait for hours to smog your car and tell you "it's normal", and forcing you to pay for something that is NOT required! In my case, I waited an hour and fifteen minutes to have Isaac telling me "it's been a hot day so the computer is not working anymore. Oh, by the way, if you are stupid enough to come back to my shop tomorrow, you will have to wait for over an hour again, because we are very busy here!" Well, Isaac, I took my car to another shop today, using your coupon and I only had to wait 25 minutes. And guess what? Today is even hotter than yesterday and their computer didn't "decide" to quit working and they didn't force me to pay the $3 you claim is A Mandate from the State. If I wanted my tires checked, it would be free!! Not only I will NEVER COME BACK to your shop, I will tell everyone in my neighborhood and all my Facebook friends about the experience I had at your shop yesterday. If you are too busy to care and business is too good you don't need more customers, just say so and don't advertise your business anymore. One star is too generous for you!! read more

My wife took her car in for a smog check with a $29.95 coupon plus $8.25 certificate fee. Wait time was fine and service was quick. The reason I am giving only two stars is they charged her a tire pressure inspection fee. Granted it was only $3, but tacking that on without approval is sneaky to me. On top of that, I immediately checked her tire pressure with a reliable digital gauge and all four tires were over the max recommended pressure! So either they didn't check or they did but overinflated her tires. Either way it is unacceptable and a safety issue. I'm having her go back to request that fee be removed. If they don't, I will take my car elsewhere. If you take your car there and you are okay with the fee, check your tires afterwards! read more

Just left All Pro Smog. Service was good. Passed test. Got bill, paid and went back in because they had not given me the discount for the coupon I had brought in for $29.95. Charged me $66.75. Said there had been no coupon and charges stood. They essentially called me a liar. I would not have brought in my car, but for the coupon price! I will not be back!! BAIT AND SWITCH basically sums it up. I called around to get the best rate and I was quoted "$38 out the door" so I thought what a steal. Well, I definitely feel scammed because when I showed up, they pulled my vehicle into the garage and was practically finished (10min later) when I was handed my receipt so I got up to pay, handed him my credit card and realized he had charged me $75. Before signing, I disputed the charge and told him the $38 quote I got over the phone, he proceeded to tell me that is only with a coupon. They never told me that. What a scam!!! We recently moved to California and needed to get a smog check on both of our cars. I used a $29.95 Pennysaver coupon. When I called to see if I could come in later that day, they told me the best time to come in to avoid a wait. Sure enough, no wait for the first car. A couple of days later I brought in the second car. There were a couple of cars ahead of me, but the waiting room is air-conditioned and not a bad place to wait. This car did not pass, due to a hose not being properly connected. As I telephoned my husband to see where I should take the car, one of the techs came out and showed me where the problem was. Since they are not a service center, they cannot perform the service, but he showed me what I needed to do to fix it myself, which I was able to do in the parking lot. They were able to re-check it almost immediately afterwards, and I got my certificate. Thanks to that extra bit of customer service, I saved the cost of a mechanic visit. this place is busy. but at least they offer coupons viva google maps from my iphone. i am new to cali and had to get my registration renewed and a ca license. so of course i went to get my car smoged. new thing for me since i grew up in Nevada. like i said it was a busy little spot. but the guys who work there are very nice. i only had one little miss-hap. my paper work got shuffled to the back of the bunch. so i noticed other customers cars going in before mine. i thought well maybe they had appointments.. then i decided to ask. Great shop! I had to go back about five times with my son's vehicle. It had been throwing codes, and then wouldn't clear a prerequisite check (Secondary Air System). So the shop checked the car five times before the car finally was ready to be tested. Not once did I get anything but a smile and gracious attitude from the All Pro Smog crew. Once the car was tested, I was in-and-out within 15 minutes. And their costs at more than fair. They will definitely be getting all my business (and with six cars, that's a fair amount of business)! read more
