Terrific workmanship at reasonable prices. Very friendly owner and staff. Always prompt service. We bring the whole family's cars.

Best place ever they are very honest will tell you exactly what's wrong with your vehicle will not rip you off they repaired my vehicle for a much lower price than the quote that I received from the dealership and also some of the things that were quoted from the dealership were not even needed read more

I had my FJ Cruiser undercoated for rust. They were very friendly, down to earth, and communicative. The technician showed me trouble rust spots and found where the leak was from the radiator. They repaired that as well. Easy drop off and pick up. Definitely recommend. read more

Anyone that owns a car knows how hard it is to find an honest mechanic. It's even harder to find one that's honest, kind and can make you laugh the entire time you're there. AM&M is the ONLY place I bring my cars and/or recommend. It's run by a great group of folks that'll have you positively re-evaluate your auto shop trust issues. -HAIV read more

I had body damage to my car. I clipped a pole on a Monday, All Makes was recommended to me by a friend. I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon and they gave me the estimate on the spot. I left the car that evening with an estimate of Friday completion. They actually called me on Thursday and told me it was ready! They were fast, efficient and the car looked great! I will definitely use All Makes & Models again. read more

I had a very wonderful experience with All Makes and Models for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was searching for places to go to what I thought might be a Camshaft replacement. I had spoken to Molly who is the one who handles all the calls and the social media for the company. She told me to bring the car in for an inspection for a free diagnostics charge. I had contacted and visited many places within a few days and most were charging for a diagnostic test. When i had the diagnostics done, Ray was the mechanic and he told me the diagnostics would not see the whole issue/picture regarding the engine/camshaft. I decided to wait a few weeks to bring it in since i would be on vacation at the end of July, 2020. Ray the mechanic told me the range of pricing would be from low to high depending upon the full problem. I left the car their on a Monday and picked it up on a Friday (it was done on Thursday). The problem was one of the small bear bearings within the cam shaft that failed, not the camshaft itself. I saved a lot of money from that and Ray did not charge me extra for additional labor hours. As Molly stated, Ray quoted me a price and he is sticking to that price (very rare to find that in these days). This was also Ray's first time working on this problem. He was very personable, easy to work with and is very knowledgeable in his craft; He seems to me he wants the customer to have a great experience with the company and his services and is true to his word. I was very pleased with the work done and the price. I would definitely work with them once again and would let others know that this is a place to go if you need work done on your vehicle. Please note they are only open from Mon-Friday 8AM-6PM. Thanks read more

This is a car repair business that can be trusted to give honest value for what they charge. I have brought high mileage vehicles to them for maintenance and repairs. In each case they were careful to discuss the work, had effective strategies to discover and diagnose problems. I recommend them for both domestic, Japanese, and German cars. They know their stuff and their team is great to deal with! read more

I can't recommend All Makes enough. I've taken all of my vehicles here over the past ten years and they always have the best prices, service and turn around time. If you're looking for an honest, reliable, knowledgeable mechanic that treats you like family, look no further. read more

Definitely worth the 40-50 minute drive to them. I always feel like family when I need my car worked on & their prices are more than reasonable! Don't go anywhere else, you'll get severely overcharged! read more

I love All Makes and Models! They do a great job every time. I use to take my Porsche to the Porsche dealer in Tysons but they never fixed my car. When I would take it in for one thing they would do a crappy job and then something else would break so I would need to take it back. It was incredibly annoying, costly and unprofessional. I honestly believe they broke things just so I could go back and spend more money. I tried other repair shops but was never happy with them. I had similar experiences where they would break things in my car just so I could return to spend more money. That's why I am so happy I finally found All Makes and Models. I am extremely please with their work and am now a customer for life now. I recommend them to everyone I know, including my family anf friends and they are now also customers for life. All the problems that the dealerships never took care of All Makes and Models fixed them for us. Now when ever we have a car problem we take it to All Makes and Models and trust they will do an outstanding job. The service is great, the prices are fair and I leave happy everytime. They also work pretty fast so that way you don't have to be without a car for too long. The receptionist Catherine is very friendly and helpful too. read more

Quick, professional, easy on the wallet, and the best auto experience you'll probably ever have! I'll never set foot in another auto shop ever again, because these guys will tell you straight up what needs to be done, and at a straight up price. Never take your car to the dealers because they'll rip you off when it comes to price, and other auto shops will leave you waiting for hours, but these guys will work with you, and for you, to get your car to a damn near perfect state, at half the cost and half the time. Short & Dirty; Best Local Auto Shop, period. read more

If you're looking to get your oil changed and tires rotated for a fair price, I advise you not to come here. I was charged $106 for labor to have my oil hanged and tires rotated. Obscene price, these services could have been done at the dealership for $70 cheaper. They also changed my cabin air filter and charged me for it without my consent. After I explained to Molly that I didn't want it changed (I can change the cabin filter myself without paying $20) she patronizingly said "sorry dear". Not sorry enough to offer any kind of discount. I will never bring any of my vehicles back here. read more

Go see Tim. He made me feel comfortable, like family. He is very nice & warming. He did not try to rip me off the price to replace my fender liner. I'm 22; he acted like a father figure to me. Process took about 45 mins to install. Office had nice AC for me to relax in while I waited. No pressure, no hassle. He gave all my options. He did not try to jam other auto services down my throat. I am pleased & would consider choosing All Makes & Models again if need be. Ladies, he's your auto guy. Efficient. read more

Tim is a great lead mechanic and business owner. Used him for years when a single parent. He also worked on my fiance's car (now my wife) when she and I were dating. I was impressed with 1) honesty and integrity; and 2) quality of service. Funny story: my wife's old van was having issues (for a long time). I asked Tim - what do I have to do to get this van up to par. "Well," he said. "Just take off the radiator cap. Back out your van. Put another one underneath it and put the radiator cap back on!" We eventually got another van! Thanks guys! read more

Good folks that do good work. When I drop my car off here, I always feel I'm getting a very honest and thorough assessment of the car's needs. They get the job done and the pricing always seems fair. Hours are a bit limited since they don't do weekends, but I'm always willing to work with that to get service I can trust. Another local establishment found an issue on my state inspection with a tire locking. Offered to do a $40 diagnostic. Instead, I brought it over here and they said there was nothing wrong. Seemed like the other place was trying to get a little extra money from me. Luckily I had All Makes to clear things up. Only one of many good interactions. read more

And THIS is why I still use this place even though I have moved to Manassas Virginia.. I had it towed there at 12:30 am and they have already looked at it this morning . The serpentine belt snapped (which pretty much connects a bunch of things under the hood and allow you to steer etc).. they could have diagnosed the world under there but have already advised me they are going to replace both belts and with parts AND labor....under $100.00 !! God bless all makes and models... read more

Ask for Tim, he has serviced and repaired my family's vehicles for years. Honest, fast and professional.

We have had Tim and his shop service all of our cars for years. The prices are reasonable and they are 100% trustworthy. They have acutally moved to 7835 Loisdale Rd, Springfield, VA but the phone number is still the same. read more

I cannot say enough good things about my interactions with this place! My car's idler pulley broke on my way up I 95 this morning. I had to pull over between Newington and Springfield and call for a tow. I searched on line, and found these folks. Got towed there just as they were opening the door. The techs popped the hood, figured out the problem, and ordered the part. They were able to get the part in very quickly (thanks for searching so hard to find it!). The service tech got it installed and tested with amazing speed! I was back on the road and I made it to work only 2 hours late! That is FANTASTIC! Plus, the price was phenomenal! I will now bring my vehicles in to them for any work I need done-Tim and his crew are true WIZARDS, who treated me very nicely and honestly. read more

I am torn about writing this review because I'd rather keep this place to myself. The staff here is fantastic, for the most part Tim and Gio have been working on my rinky cars since 2010. Rates are great for the area, staff is friendly and helpful. They've never hesitated to show me or explain any hiccups my vehicles have had and are an HONEST group of pros. Out of the dozens of places I've taken my car over the past few years I've NEVER felt more confident handing over my car to a shop. ( It even has the only "out of state-mechanic father's stamp of approval" A previously thought impossible feat. Thanks to the staff there for allowing me to avoid dragging my car between his old coworkers' houses by the way) I am so grateful for the solid work done here. Don't waste time elsewhere! read more

Great experience so far. They were polite, knowlegible, and fair priced. My car needed quite a bit of work and they completed in a day and then drove it over to the body shop for me. I have used them three times now. Each time has been very professional. read more

Truthfully I should have been on here reviewing this place like 2 years ago. Tim and his staff are honest and do great work. They've even taken me back into the shop to show me the parts that came off my car and explain what they did and showed me what was going on with my car. I appreciate them sharing their knowledge. If you need a good, honest car repair place, take your car to All Makes and Models. read more

Had work done twice. 1 moth later I went to a different shop who refused to work on my vehicle because "the underside is completely rusted out. It isn't worth putting any money into it" Really?? AMandM didn't notice that when they worked on it??????? read more

A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! Never have I been to an auto shop where I was treated with such genuine curtesy and respect. Tim, the owner, looked at some damage on my car, gave me options, an honest opinion, and a great sense of calm during a stressful situation. I had interactions with about five employees while I was there and they were really nice, friendly, informative and helpful. The prices are INCREDIBLE and the quality is top notch. I can't recommend this place enough, I really can't. read more

Love this PLACE! 1st time customer and the staff (Stephanie, Tim, Ray...) could not be any nicer. Even ordered up pizza for lunch! I typically had taken my car to the Acura dealership for all it's service needs but quickly tired of the high prices and somewhat less than stellar work. Excellent work, great staff and good prices- why NOT come here! read more

I have been a customer with All Makes and Models since 1996 and always have been completely satisfied. I've referred family and friends who also continue to use them for any mechanical needs. Tim, the owner, always takes the time to explain things to me no matter how busy he is. He is the only mechanic I can say that I trust with fixing my car correctly the first time. We all know those places that it's back and forth before it is fixed and even then, it's still may continue to give you problems. All Makes and Models stand behind their work and I am grateful to trust them whenever the times comes I need mechanical repairs. read more

This was my third time going to this place and will probably be my last. The girl at the desk was new again seems like everytime I go there the previous girl quits, i feel bad for the lady there now because she doesn't know anything about cars and she will quit soon because the manager Tim only yells at them like they are kids (Which is why the other 2 girls quit) The mechanics are great but I took my vehicle there for brakes and they said I needed front pads and rotors, the girl I spoke to I think Stephanie called and tried to explain what I needed but she had know idea what she was talking about but she gave me a price over the phone and when I went in there to pick and pay for the vehicle I see on the ticket that I was charged for Calipers and a brake flush. I wish I would have known that befor i picked up the car that I would have another 300 dollars on my bill then what I was quoted, not to mention that when I picked it up all I could hear was Tim the manager just yelling at one of his mechanics... I would recommend taking your vehicle to somebody who knows what they are talking about good luck if you go here, its not worth it read more
