Had a company beach party out at Yokohama Bay... yes, probably the furthest drive to a beach on this island - and All Kine Grindz not only delivered, but set up our hot food with a table, (tent options) and then came back 2 hours later to break down... and they came from Kaneohe. Ricky and Alfred drove out, right on time and were super awesome with everything. The food was phenomenal, and the service was excellent. HUGE shout out for making this possible! I didn't want any of my employees to have to worry about setting up and you guys made it happen. We ordered 15lbs each of Boneless Kalbi and chicken. Both were perfectly tender, moist, and seasoned. Order came with a giant pan of Mac salad and rice - perfect grindz for the beach!

These guys were at the Mango Jam. I tried their combo plate -- garlic shrimp and boneless kalbi with mango glaze. Garlic shrimp cooked perfectly. Kalbi was tender and ono. Giving 4 stars since I had to wait close to 15 minutes and it was pricey -- $18 for combo and $13 for one choice. Think they had enough workers but no one was even cooking my shrimp.

All Kine Grindz now has their food truck at my school, Honolulu Community College, on the daily! I had never had their food before they came here, but they are really popular at their Kakaako location. I ended up eating here because I forgot my lunch at home. It is a very interesting set up that they have in that you order through a window on the side of the truck and pick it up there. But, your food is cooked under a tent in the back of the truck. The meat is grilled over fire, sliced up, and placed in a box with rice and salad. For $8, I thought my Korean BBQ Chicken plate was reasonable. I received about two chicken thighs worth of meat. There is also a plastic table nearby with a variety of sauces for you to use. Service was reasonably fast. I received my food about five minutes after ordering. My food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I would go back for sure if I forget my home lunch again.

4/12/16 I work nearby so decided to walk on over to the food truck that's parked on the HCC campus. I ordered the boneless kalbi $10 and my friend got the surf and turf $13 which you can choose your surf (shrimp, ahi or crab cake) and your turf (pork, beef or chicken) I like that it's a choice and not a set surf and turf. She chose shrimp and spicy pork. I tried her pork and it was tasty. The kalbi was a good portion and most of the meat was tender. I came across a few tough pieces but no biggie. All in all this truck is not bad. 4/22/16 Went back today and got a surf and turf with kalbi and seared ahi. Ahi was yummy and seasoned excellent. Wish I had eaten it sooner though. By the time I sat to eat my ahi had overcooked a bit from being in the take-out container. Maybe next time I'll ask that they barely sear it so it will be just right by the time I eat it. Okay.... today 5/2/16 pastele stew was on special and I love pastele stew. It was pretty tasty and had large chunks of pork and whole olives inside. So far this has been the best meal I've had from this food truck.

All Kine Grindz is a food truck located on Honolulu Community College campus. They're open until 6pm Mon-Fri. They have very friendly workers. The plate lunches are a little pricey ranging $8-$13 bucks. they do offer a surf & turf for $13. I've tried their crab cakes, steak plate and pastele stew and it's really good. Their smoked meat is alright, too much fat on it for my liking. They now offer a stamp card so you have a chance of getting a free plate lunch.

This truck has plate lunches at the price you would expect to pay at almost any plate lunch spot. However, they don't scoop the burgers out of a steam tray or other warmer. They cook it when you order it. It makes for a busy cook and a short wait but it is worth it. Limited menu, understandably so. It is after all, a truck with one cook.

So good.. Had a Rib-eye burger, 8 bucks, best burger ever.. Mac salad was great..shrimp is so good and sea food platter.. One day i went as they were already closed by mistake, the guys turned the grill back on and tosses me a free banana bread. They were litterly seconds from driving away. Nice guys, great food, super affordable, always good abd fresh.

A night in Kaka'ako is always a fun place to explore, and just be entertained!…read more The Honolulu Night Market at Our Kaka'ako is indeed a fabulous adventure into the biggest street/block party filled to the brim with all things local...food, retail and culture. I've been to so many and each and every one is very unique where you can find either fashion runway stage, live street art, or even a dance night in the barn. I just love the vibe SALT and surrounding Our Kaka'ako brings with the vibrant art we're so blessed to have and this particular night (November 19th) there was actually much more shopping just perfect for the holidays and the party went further down to Ya-ya's. Tonight I was fortunate to have gone after work so I kept it short but found some awesome treats. Some straw toppers to add to my holiday gift giving and some cheesecake cups (OG, Strawberry and Cookie Butter) of course I got one of each to share...ate the Strawberry which of course omg was yummy!! Not too sweet as the Strawberries was just perfect as I tried to get an even scoop of it all in every bite. Walked further down and honestly wasn't in the mood to wait too long for anything found something that would just exactly work for me. Ya-Ya's Chophouse & Seafood and tonight they had two items - Steak Kebabs - Fat Fried Rice with TAB (aka Thick Ass Bacon lol!) I seriously wanted the fried rice but thought that the Steak Kebabs was more sensible for me personally and it came with two kebabs each fully loaded with steak, mushrooms, peppers and onions with a huge scoop of rice! So many options I really was considering including Henna from Henna Happens, Birria Tacos from Dolce Vita, Corn from Corn Onoz Hawaii but though there's always a next time yes!?! I remember pre-pandemic Yelp had a booth here and hoping as things return to normalcy that we'll see it back again one day (hint hint!) Absolutely love this Honolulu Night Market as it offers so many cultural coolness that you can't find anywhere else! Thank you!

We ended up saving our leftovers for another meal. I wanted to eat more in one sitting but I was so full. The bf was satisfied to finally try an authentic Mexican spot in town.

Be prepared to wait around 45-60 minutes as it is just her and 1 kitchen crew. The wait was well worth it for the most delicious Nigerian food I've had on the island. Jollof Rice came with Oxtail & Jerk Chicken so we could try both and they were seasoned immaculately. The Jollof rice has some heat that builds as you eat it and the oxtail was a hefty piece. The jerk chicken had a nice spice & sear to it, it provided a nice balance to the fatty oxtail. There is also pieces of plantain that come with this plate. Fufu is neutral flavored pounded yam (comparable texture to a stickier mashed potato) - It pairs well with the smokey, earthy & spicy flavors of the Egusi Soup. The soup is very hearty and more akin to a stew with how much protein & veggies are in the bowl. My total came out to $51.00 for these three items.

Very nice lady but is also unorganized and has no efficient system as a business owner. Wait times are longer because of this. She takes my cash but doesn't always give back my change right away, then will forget the amount of cash I've handed her. She often asks to be reminded of what you ordered, and when you think you're done ordering, she asks you to come back to the window to ask additional questions about your order. Instead of waiting until the entire order is complete, she brings out the plates at different times and has asked another customer to bring back the first half of their order and show her to make sure she doesn't give them extra food. She would benefit from using a simple receipt book so she doesn't have to rely just on memory and she can give the customers a numbered ticket to call when their order is ready. She only takes CASH or VENMO which is fine. But I have seen her take the order and make the food before the customer pays, and then get into conflict when the customer does not have any form of payment. Confirming payment first will save a lot of troubles. She's no longer in a fixed location, and now takes her truck to various spots around the island, mostly on base or Waipio. I recommend following her instagram but she unfortunately doesn't post her location until the day of. She doesn't post her schedule in advance, making it very hard to track her down. I used to come often when she was at the old Sear's parking lot. So it's been months until I finally had a day off and was relieved to find she was in Waipio -- just to find that her efficiency hasn't improved since the last time I came. I love that she's getting more business but I cannot keep coming back if this is the service every time. She definitely could use more helping hands.
