I really liked the portable closet they brought that made transporting nice clothes on hangers a breeze. The move was just a handful of miles -- from Berkeley to Oakland -- so the hope was to finish in the two hour minimum. We didn't quite make it, instead coming in at slightly over 2.5 hours - rounded up to 2.75. That was the only disappointment. I'll give them 4.7 or 4.8 stars.

This really cut down on the time spent during the move. Everything was packed so well and nothing was damaged in transit. They took about 1 hour to move an organized small studio and just under 2 hours to move my lesser organized 1 BR. The bulk our time was spent at our new building which required more travel time between the truck and the unit. These guys were optimal and had excellent strategizing and problem solving across all three buildings (which were all different). They were also thorough in minimizing damage to our belongings via wrapping and care. This team set a new standard for me and I'd hire them again.

Uniformly high ratings there. I contacted three other movers. Moses was the ONLY one who showed up. Moses himself, the owner. While his rate seemed high at first compared to some lower estimates, the "cut-rate guys" weren't willing to take the time to look at my actual place, Moses' price was at least on a Not To Exceed maximum basis, I decided to accept it since it was all-inclusive for a crew of four and no add-ons.. For example, others charge extra for things like wardrobe boxes, art packing, and the drill of getting the No Parking signs in place. The last thing I wanted to hassle with, standing in line at some City Hall office. Moses was true to his word. He sent four energetic, attentive and careful men who did not so much as crack a wine glass in the process. Each one was unfailingly professional and proud of caring for our possessions. At the end of the day, a HAPPY SURPRISE. The actual price I paid was approximately a third lower than his not to exceed amount, which I would've been happy with. anyway. Thank you, Moses & Company! My furniture and wood & glass cabinets were all wrapped with protective cloth. These guys handled everything with care and listened to my needs. John came to our house and gave us an estimate based on our property, which was nice since it wasn't time-based like most companies. At the end of the day, this was a much better deal too. On the moving day we had Felipe, Noe, Jorge, and Juan. They worked so hard to wrap and unwrap everything carefully, we didn't have a single broken glass! They were able to move our huge and heavy dinning table out through the balcony, without any scratches. I highly recommend this company for your moving.
