They were the quickest to respond to my plumbing problem but definitely not the cheapest. The tech was good but I feel I was overcharged for the work completed. IF you DON'T have a plumbing emergency, shop around. There are better priced plumbers in the Grand Rapids area. read more

I just heard from the team at All Flo Plumbing and they have stepped up to make things right. I really appreciate a company that admits to their mistakes and in the end does what is best for the customer, now and in the future. read more

Prompt, knowlegible and through. Gave us a total outlook for the future with a cracked cast iron pipe. But took care of the sewer backup it caused. Thank you! read more

I live in a house with a very unusual plumbing system in Heritage Hill, we have had multiple issues throughout the years with plumbing and of all of the plumbing services that we have had come out to our house all flo has been by far the most courteous and Professional of plumbing businesses around here. I would have plumbers come through and not really take the time to explain the issue that they found and what could be the cause of it and what we could do to prevent any further issues, all flo was great at being prompt and quick and efficient as well as professional. I like that they provide you information of the technician that will be coming out to your house so you are not thrown off by who you'll meet at the door. Previous plumbing services such as service professor have made me feel violated with the way that they have disrespected my space when not around, and the nice thing about all flo is they also don't sell you on products or services that you don't need that will put you further into debt. read more

They charged $700 to unclog a bathroom sink. They tore up the wall, made a mess and did not repair or cleanup. Avoid ALL Flo at all costs!

Had an up flow pump that was bad. Called at 11 am on a Friday, Michael showed up at 4 the same day! Super nice guy. Quality product installed, fair price. This is my go to plumber for sure!! So happy to have it taken care of so quickly! Thank you!!! read more

Word to hopefully wiser world Word to the hopefully wiser world I am a contractor familiar with the trades and I have never had a plumber show up after a call in charge $280 just to show up I was never told it would be that crazy expensive, I've worked with several other plumbers that would agree. This is absolutely ridiculous. This was my foolish mistake and trusting a company I've never done business with, that is just taking advantage of people and their situation. The tech was incredibly gracious, and felt horrible about their fee structure, but after showing up, I had no choice but to pay them, but I really feel compelled to warn anyone that this company takes advantage of people! There are plenty of qualified plumbers that don't gouge you from the first second... I'm usually smarter than this, but I was in a hurry, and when I called to make sure that I wouldn't be charged after our rates I was then shocked to find out the initial $280 fee just to show up. Make sure to ask what their charges are prior to hiring these type of predatory companies. It is my hope that this technician finds a company that deserves him, I know this wasn't his fault and he was a very kind and gracious man, whom I hope finds a better home. read more

Basement shower valve needed replacement. Super nice team. Very good work. They cleaned up, and the price was very fair.

Update: So far the fix is doing well, I am glad to report. 9/9/2017 Previous review Positive experience overall. Professional, prompt service to unclog a basement drain / the main line. Emergency service on a holiday weekend was expensive (but it was similar to other estimates for emergency service that day). Plumber Adam S. explained what he was doing in detail. I am 1 week post-service and it probably needs more time to see how long the fix holds read more

e had water leaking into our basement from a drain. All Flo was able to schedule us before anyone else, just the next morning instead of a week out. Andy came out to service us, and WOW, what amazing customer service. He was friendly, super knowledgeable, and thorough - taking the time to explain and show everything to us. I would recommend Andy and All Flo to anyone that needed service! read more

We were referred Allflow for a basement drain issue. They were prompt in getting here, did a thorough job cleaning the roots out. Unfortunately, pricing was not clearly communicated. We were quoted "no more than $650" and the ending bill was $1,500. And, turns out the problem was actually the city's fault, not on our property, so we fronted all of that billing. read more

My plumbing issues continue! The joy of having an old house, I guess. So, my last plumber got very frustrated and actually stopped answering my calls, so I called All-Flo Plumbing. They sent Lance out, and after giving him an extensive run-down of our issues and frustration with forking out over $800 and still having nothing resolved, he figured out our main issues pretty quickly. He got the clog (that the other company couldn't after 4 visits), and also gave us an estimate on our shower leak. It was a little pricy, but for the extensive investigating and repair that he did in about 2 hours, it was well worth it. He is also coming back next week to fix the shower and then (knock on wood) my plumbing issues will finally be problems in the past and I can sell my house!!! All-Flo has been wonderful, very fair, and super professional. If you need someone, they are worth a call! read more

I was very disappointed with my experience with All-Flo Plumbing to open a backed up basement drain. They came without the right equipment and had to wait about an hour for it to be brought to the site. Once there they used a cable to open the drain but I didn't see them take away roots like other services have in the past. They didn't use cameras or jettison the drain as other services have . Though when i called later they said the technician recommended jettisoning he actually told me he didn't think i needed it. I have had the basement drain opened before and it usually lasts a year or two before it needs to be done again. This time it was backing up again in a couple of months. When I called All-Flo they would only agree to a maintenance service for almost they full price of the original service. Rather than the manager talking to me directly they passed messages back and forth through their receptionist. I would never use them again. read more

Nov 15 2021. without me knowing my tenant called all Flo as he had sewer back up. Tenant said they snaked for 2 hours and said the plug was too far. they could jet it which could effect all the apartments or dig outside and wanted my Okay. Thankfully I said I would research first. I arrived 9 am the next day. I have a couple snakes, one is a 1/2" 50'. It took me 2 1/2 hours of snaking , pulling out pieces of cloth to open the drain, the tub was still plugged, I freed with a plunger. I said to tenants uncle, do you think All Flo will send a bill ? Uncle Bill said "No we paid $600 yesterday". My experience, 2 hours...$600 and leave without fixing. Then I cleared it without all the fanfare and huge bills... thus the 2 stars. read more

We'd had water leaking from drain pipe on the water heater for a couple months. Finally decided to call an expert! Trent provided options and we chose to replace vs repair given the age of the tank. He was very professional, took time to explain what needed to be done and left the workspace clean. We will definitely call All-Flo for our next plumbing job (coming soon). read more

We called All-Flo to investigate significant sediment in our hot water lines that was clogging several fixtures. Two apprentice plumbers were sent to our house. They proceeded to remove a few shower valves and attempt to flush out the debris by turning the water on and off. No advanced plumbing techniques were attempted. After 4 hours, they concluded that they didn't know what the problem was and they were unable to fix it. Total bill: $700. Not only is the hourly rate absurdly high, but it should never have taken 4 hours to determine that they didn't know how to approach the problem and that flushing the lines wasn't working. Make sure you get a quote from someone else before considering this company. Completely unreasonable. read more

We needed a plumber to hook up our updated dishwasher and fridge, so we called All-Flo. Not only did they get to us the very next day, but they were right on time and were so gracious. Our previous dishwasher was over 24 years old, so there was some discrepancy in the correct size hose. No problem for All-Flo. Their experts found a solution and had us up and running in no time! Excellent workmanship, good pricing, and professions courteous workers. read more

I had called All-Flo initially to snake the pipes as we thought that there was a blockage. It ended up being a broken pipe and because this home was a new purchase, the repairs needed would be covered under our home warranty. All I needed was someone to call and/or email the estimate to my warranty company to confirm the amount they would be paying and the man Kevin I spoke with put me on hold half way through explaining about needing an estimate emailed over and got back on the line and the only explanation stated for not wanting to email and/or call over is "we don't do that". I asked for a reasoning why they couldn't confirm they would be my contractor and he said "I asked the guys in the office and we all say no and if they were to call us to ask we wouldn't tell them anything". Granted, if this is their policy to not work with warranty companies that's their own choice, but the blow off after already paying them $300 for the initial call out and giving no reasoning is just bad business. read more

Very disappointing experience. They did not listen to information we gave them and provided a band aid solution. They refused to honor their guarantee and never did fix the problem which another company easily resolved for us. PLUS very expensive. Go elsewhere and check BBB read more

The ownership had a lot of integrity. We talked through some concerns as it pertained to a job that unexpectedly got really big, really fast. They were fair on pricing and, when I was not completely clear on one of the things a worker said, the manager was willing to take my call back at the office to talk through it. Most importantly, it was an urgent plumbing back-up situation and they came right away and stayed until the job was done. The workers on site were knowledgeable and respectful. Would use again. read more

Update: Since my last review All flo has contacted us and spoke with us regarding our experience with the water heater reset. They wanted to know what they could do better. We discussed some things and as a gesture they did end up refunding half of the $220. That is why I have bumped them up to 3 stars, because they took time out for an unhappy customer. read more
