Not only does he answer when I call, no matter if it's the middle of the night or weeekend. Then he shows up promptly. Today, he showed up within 15 minutes to assess the problem, put in a new shut off valve and returned before 5 to install the new heater. Then came back to check that it was working correctly. Then called and texted me to notify me the job was complete. Absolutely amazing service and I won't use anyone else!

Don't Call for an Emergency!…read more We called Phelps Plumbing & Heating on a Wednesday night at about 9:00 p.m., when we first noticed a broken pipe in our bathroom that was dripping water at a really fast pace. Water was flowing out of the pipe and soaking through the floor into the basement. The room in our finished basement that was directly below the leak was really wet, so wet in fact that we needed to have the room professionally cleaned the next day. We spoke with someone from Phelps who kind of laughed at our situation and said, "I don't consider that an emergency. I'm not coming out to help." He had an attitude and really didn't seem to want to assist a customer with the plumbing job. Based on his negative response and poor attitude, we crossed his name out in the phone book. I can completely understand that he may not have felt like coming out to help after hours, but his cavalier and dismissive attitude was shocking! He could have handled the call more professionally and simply said that he was unable to help. Do not use this place!!!
